Abstract

The helmet (1) includes an osteo-microphone, consisting of a cranial detector (19) which picks up the sounds produced by the wearer. The sound is transmitted through the bone structure. The detector (19) is situated inside the helmet, near the front portion of the wearer's skull. Two loudspeakers (20,21) are also fitted inside the helmet, in conventional ear positions. The helmet itself is made in a single piece, with an aperture for the visor. A connecting cable leads from the helmet to a transceiver (25) with a control (31).
