EN UNA INSTALACION PROVISTA DE UNA SERIE DE CAPTADORES SOLARES, COMO POR EJEMPLO PLACAS SOLARES (1), CONECTADAS MEDIANTE UN CIRCUITO CERRADO (2) CON UN SERPENTIN (3) QUE ASISTE A UNA CALDERA (4) DE EVAPORACION DEL AGUA MARINA, VAPOR QUE SERA POSTERIORMENTE CONDENSADO PARA SU CONVERSION EN AGUA DESALINIZADA O DULCE, CONSISTEN BASICAMENTE EN ESTABLECER EN EL CITADO CIRCUITO (2) DEL FLUIDO DE TRANSMISION TERMICA, UN ACUMULADOR DE CALOR (6) DE CAPACIDAD ADECUADA COMO PARA PERMITIR QUE LA INSTALACION FUNCIONE ININTERRUMPIDAMENTE, DE MANERA QUE DURANTE LAS HORAS NOCTURNAS, EN LAS QUE LOS CAPTADORES (1) SON INOPERANTES, SE MANTIENE LA EVAPORACION DE AGUA MARINA EN LA CALDERA (4) A EXPENSAS DEL CALOR ACUMULADO EN EL ACUMULADOR DE CALOR (6).
