Abstract

The magnetic device for the detection of parked vehicles senses the mechanical tension produced by the wheel of a vehicle when running over a wire fixed at one of its ends. The sensor element is comprised of a wire fixed at one of its ends to a metal support, the other end being attached to a semicircular support wherein is adhered the tape of amorphous material, said tape forming the core of a winding which collects the induced electromotive force. With this device, it is possible to know the number of free parking places in a parking as well as the location thereof. The main advantage of the invention is that it is possible to know the location of all the free parking places in a parking.
