Abstract

The cover, especially for protecting fluorescent tube terminals (6) from water and moisture when used in installations exposed to the weather, consists of a hollow housing (1) made from a flexible material with a circular aperture (2) shaped to receive the end of the tube, and a second aperture (3), also circular but of smaller diameter, to take the end of an electrical cable (5). The cover is preferably cylindrical in shape, with the first aperture (2) situated coaxially with one of its bases, and the flexible material from which it is made is preferably transparent or translucent, e.g. of silicone.
