TIENE POR OBJETO ELIMINAR LAS SUSTANCIAS NOCIVAS QUE SE DEPOSITAN EN LAS BRANQUIAS Y PAREDES DE LA CAVIDAD ESTOMACAL DE DICHOS ANIMALES, CUANDO SE DAN CONDICIONES DE CONTAMINACION EN LAS ZONAS DE SU PRODUCCION; COMO POR EJEMPLO ES EL CASO DE LAS MAREAS ROJAS. SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE SE CONSTITUYE A PARTIR DE UN BARCO (1) QUE SE DESPLAZA HASTA AGUAS NO CONTAMINADAS Y EN EL QUE SE DISPONEN UNA PLURALIDAD DE TANQUES O PISCINAS (2) EN LAS QUE SE DEPOSITAN UNA PLURALIDAD DE JAULAS APILABLES (3), QUE INCLUYEN LOS ANIMALES A DEPURAR.
