DC contactor for high power, comprising a main conduction circuit with fixed contacts (4) and moving contact (3), and a cutoff circuit with fixed contact (7A) and lever (6) rotatable about an axis (8) and provided at its end with a contact (7), with operating member (16) provided with a thruster able to repel a moveable core (20A) towards the rotary lever by way of at least one spring.
