Abstract
The valve includes a member which has two different stable positions and a valve-actuating device for displacing the member between two stable positions and keeping it in these positions. The device includes a shuttle device which can be displaced between two end positions corresponding to the two stable positions of the member. A first spring forces the shuttle device towards an end position and a second spring, stronger than the first one, forces the shuttle device towards the other end position, these movements being transmitted from the shuttle device to the member. An electrical solenoid selectively causes the second spring to remain inactive with respect to the shuttle device such that, when this occurs, the first spring causes the valve member to adopt the stable position, and when the second spring is active it causes the valve member to adopt the other stable position.
