SE DISPONE UN APARATO PARA AUMENTAR LA FLEXIBILIDAD AL DOBLADO DEL ALA DE UNION HORIZONTAL DE UNA TURBINA DE VAPOR DE BAJA PRESION. LA ANCHURA RADIAL DEL ALA DE UNION HORIZONTAL EN EL AREA DE SOPORTE DONDE EL CILINDRO INTERIOR DE LA TURBINA REPOSA SOBRE EL CILINDRO EXTERIOR, HA SIDO REDUCIDA SIGNIFICATIVAMENTE. CON EL FIN DE ACOMODAR UNA REDUCCION EN LA ANCHURA RADIAL DEL ALA EN ESTE AREA, SE PROPORCIONA UNA NUEVA DISPOSICION DE LAS UNIDADES FUNCIONALES DEL AREA DE UNION HORIZONTAL. PREFERIBLEMENTE, EL ALA DE UNION HORIZONTAL ES CAPAZ DE SER ESTRECHADA EN DIRECCION RADIAL DEBIDO A LA REDISPOSICION ESTRATEGICA, EN EL AREA DE SOPORTE, DE LOS COMPONENTES FUNCIONALES.
