Abstract
UN NUEVO DETECTOR DE LUZ CONSISTE EN UN CUERPO ABSORBEDOR DE LUZ EN FORMA DE PLACA Y UN TRANSMISOR DE LUZ UNIDO CON EL CUERPO ABSORBEDOR DE LUZ. AMBAS PIEZAS DEL DETECTOR DE LUZ CONTIENEN UN COLORANTE FLUORESCENTE, POR LO QUE LA LUZ IRRADIA SE TRANSFORMA EN RADIACION FLUORESCENTE. LA RADIACION FLUORESCENTE SE CONDUCE A TRAVES DE REFLEXION TOTAL A UN ELEMENTO SEMICONDUCTOR EN DONDE SE MIDE. EL DETECTOR DE LUZ ES APROPIADO COMO DETECTOR UV O COMO CONTADOR DE LOS GIROS DE LAS FIBRAS OPTICAS DE LUZ BARRERA.
