PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PROMOVER LA UNION QUIMICA ENTRE FIBRAS DE POLIETILENTEREFTALATO Y MATRICES POLIMERICAS MEDIANTE DIAZIDAS O DERIVADOS DE AZIDAS LA MAYORIA DE LAS FIBRAS ORGANICAS TEXTILES, ENTRE ELLAS LAS DE POLIETILENTEREFTALATO (PET), SE EMPLEAN COMO REFUERZOS DE POLIMEROS CON MENOR RIGIDEZ PARA PREPARAR COMPOSITES POLIMERICOS. LAS CARACTERISTICAS FISICAS Y MECANICAS DE LOS COMPOSITES PUEDEN AUMENTARSE MEDIANTE UN AUMENTO DE LA RESISTENCIA DE LA ADHESION EN LA INTERFASE REFUERZO/POLIMERO, SIENDO LA UNION QUIMICA EL MECANISMO QUE ORIGINA UNA MAYOR Y MAS EFECTIVA ADHESION EN LA INTERFASE. MEDIANTE EL TRATAMIENTO DE LAS FIBRAS DE PET CON AZIDAS O DERIVADOS DE AZIDAS ADECUADO, SE PROMUEVE LA UNION QUIMICA DE LAS MISMAS CON MATRICES POLIMERICAS TALES COMO POLIOLEFINAS (POLIETILENO DE ALTA Y BAJA DENSIDAD, POLIPROPILENO, ETC.)
