PARA LA FABRICACION DE CUERPOS MODELADOS DE CARBURO DE SILICIO INFILTRADO CON SILICIO, EN ESPECIAL TUBOS, SE TRANSFORMA UNA MEZCLA DE POLVO DE CARBURO DE SILICIO, AGLOMERANTE ORGANICO Y EVENTUALMENTE CARBONO EN UN CUERPO VIRGEN ALARGADO CON FORMA CILINDRICA, SE ELIMINA EL AGLOMERANTE DEL CUERPO VIRGEN EN UNA ATMOSFERA NO OXIDANTE POR COQUIZACION A 1000 C APROXIMADAMENTE Y EL CUERPO BRUTO OBTENIDO SE TRATA CON SILICIO POR MEDIO DE LA ACCION DE SILICIO LIQUIDO CON TEMPERATURAS DE, AL MENOS, 1400 C.
