Abstract
Un método de preparar una zeolita de tamiz molecular de silicato de titanio cristalino que tiene un tamaño de poros de aproximadamente 3-5 unidades Angstroms, una composición en términos de relaciones molares de óxidos como sigue: 1,0 0,25 M2=nO :TiO2 : ySiO2 : zH2O en donde M es al menos un catión que tiene valencia n, y es de 1,0 a 100, y z es de 0 a 100 y un diagrama de difracción de Rayos-X en polvo que tiene las líneas e intensidades relativas sustancialmente como sigue: (2 theta = 0 40 ) Distancia d significativa I/Io (en Angstroms) 11,65 0,25 S-VS 6,95 0,25 S-VS 5,28 0,15 M-S 4,45 0,15 W-M 2,98 0,05 VS en donde: VS = 50-100 S = 30-70 M = 15-50 W = 5-30 comprendiendo el método hacer reaccionar hidrotérmicamente, en ausencia de agente de templado, una mezcla alcalina de agua y fuentes de titanio, sílice y metal alcalino (A) que proporcione las relaciones molares SiO2/Ti = 1-10, H2O/ -SiO2 = 2-100 y A/SiO2 = 0,1-10 hasta que se formen cristales de producto y, opcionalmente, sustituir elmetal alcalino, inicialmente presente en dichos cristales de producto, por uno o más cationes, siendo el pH de la mezcla de reacción hidrotérmica de 10,45 a 11,0 (0,1) medido antes de la cristalización una vez que se ha diluido 100:1 en volumen y se ha equilibrado.
