Abstract

Protector térmico de ruptura brusca, caracterizado esencialmente por estar constituido por un soporte aislante atravesado por un terminal fijo saliente por una zona de asiento de aquel, en cuyo soporte va centrado y fijado por patillas laterales una lámina provista de dos inflexiones que junto con dientes salientes de recortes en ellas constituyen otros tantos puntos de apoyo de una lámina bimetálica curvada entre ellos que, por exceso de calor, es susceptible de atravesar su línea de equilibrio y cambiar bruscamente de concavidad, impulsando por un rehundido intermedio a la lámina portadora del contacto móvil y fijada al extremo plano elevado de la lámina de montaje del bimetal, contra cuya lámina va fijada otra constitutiva del otro terminal del protector.
