EL PRESENTE INVENTO SUMINISTRA UN MATERIAL OPTICO ORGANICO NO LINEAL QUE COMPRENDE UN DERIVADO DE BENCILIDINA - ANILINA QUE TIENE UN SUSTITUYENTE DONANTE DE ELECTRON INTRODUCIDO EN LA POSICION 4 Y UN SUSTITUYENTE ACEPTANTE DE ELECTRON INTRODUCIDO EN LA POSICION 4'', ESTO SE LOGRA SIGUIENDO DOS SISTEMAS: (I) UNO SELECCIONANDO COMO SISTEMA ELECTRONICO (PI) CONJUGADO A UN DERIVADO DE LA BENCILIDINA - ANILINA QUE TIENE UNA HIPERPOLARIZABILIDAD MOLECULAR GRANDE Y UN MOMENTO DIPOLO TAN PEQUEÑO COMO UN DERIVADO DE BENCINA, Y (II) INTRODUCIENDO UN SUSTITUYENTE REGULADOR DE ALINEAMIENTO MOLECULAR.
