Abstract
The disclosed rotation transmitting cable is comprised of a metal cable (1) consisting of a plurality of wire layers (5a, 5b, 5c) and (5d) superimposed and concentric to a wire (4) which is the core of the cable (1), said layers (5a, 5b, 5c) and (5d) being wound in correlatively opposite directions. The rotation transmitting cable is also comprised of a rolling cover (2) concentric to the metal cable (1) and an outer sheath (3) concentric to the rolling cover (2). The metal cable (1) is provided with a covering (RT) obtained by a flocking process, said covering (RT) acting as means for attenuating the sound caused by the rotation of the metal cable (1) inside the rolling cover (2).
