Abstract
PURPOSE: To make easier terminal treatment as well as prevent the emission of noise by eliminating the movement of laided shield by the method in which the outer surface of cable core is provided with a laided shield, a bridged polyethylene tape, and a sheath, and then the cable is subjected to vulcanization.
CONSTITUTION: The outer surface of the cable core 1 is provided with the plaided shield 2, the bridged polyethylene tape layer 3, and the sheath 5, and the cable is subjected to vulcanization. The preferred kind of the bridged polyethylene tape 3 is the one having a gelation ratio of 20 to 80%. For example, the outer surface of the cable core 1 consisting of a desired number of twisted copper twisted conductors the outside of which is covered with polyethylene insulator by extrusion is provided with the plaided sheath 2 consisting of tin-plated plaided copper wires, then the outside of the plaided sheath is wound with the bridged polyethylene tape 3 having a gelation ratio of 50% at a 1/2 lap and further wound with the polyester tape 4 as a holder, then the cable is covered with the chlorosulfonated polyethylene 5 by extrusion, and lastly the cable is subjected to a vulcanization at 105 to 110°C.
