Abstract
A pulling force is exerted on a spiral electrode with its electrode head grown into an organ of a human body. A thin drawing element (3) is introduced in the internal luman (4) of the spiral electrode (10) to approach the electrode head. The head (K) of the drawing element is then force or form fitted in tension-proof manner to the wall (W) of the sprial electrode. An individually matched withdrawing force is applied until the spiral electrode is released from the ingrown position. The firing of the drawing element head can be by local extension of the spiral electrode to a larger dia. than that of the internal luman. USE/ADVANTAGE - Non-functioning or infected heart pacemaker electrode. Easier extrusion avoiding risk of injection.
