Abstract

A reciprocating hermetic motor compressor (10) of vertical shaft type comprises a shell (11) which encloses an electric motor (12) placed in the upper part and fixed to a compressor body (13) placed below. A bush (21) fixed to the body guides a vertical shaft (19) driven by the motor. A set of balls (25) and a set of rollers (26) are disposed between the bush and the shaft, and seats are provided directly in the bush to receive the sets of balls and rollers.
