Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a compressor by jointing a stator inside of a top surface formed at a flat member on an upper cover of an enclosed container, while opposing a flat rotor to the stator so as to form an electric motor member driving a compression mechanism member. CONSTITUTION:A compression mechanism member 2 is housed in an under cover 1b of an enclosed container, which member 2 being composed of upper and lower bearings 3, 4, a cylinder 5, a roller 6, a crank shaft 7 and a vane or the like. A flat rotor 10 is pressfitted to an upper end of the crank shaft 7. On the other hand, a stator 11 is formed by inserting a member, which is formed by winding a coil 11a around a coil frame 11c, into a support plate 11b. By inserting a stud bolt 13 into the support plate 11b and fastening it with a nut 14, the stator 11 is fixed in the upper cover 1a. In this case, the top surface of the upper cover 1a is flattened. An electric mechanism member 12 is composed of the flat rotor 10 and the stator 11.
