UN METODO Y UN APARATO PARA FABRICAR VIDRIO PLANO RECUBIERTO, QUE INCLUYEN: ENTREGAR VIDRIO CON REGIMEN CONTROLADO A UN BAÑO DE METAL FUNDIDO; AVANZAR EL VIDRIO A LO LARGO DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL BAÑO BAJO UNAS CONDICIONES TERMICAS QUE ASEGURAN QUE UNA CINTA DE VIDRIO CON UNA SUPERFICIE QUE MIRA HACIA ARRIBA, SE ESTABLECE SOBRE EL BAÑO; PERMITIR A LA CINTA DE VIDRIO RECUBIERTA ENFRIARSE SUFICIENTEMENTE PARA QUE PUEDA SER TOMADA SIN DAÑO ALGUNO FUERA DEL BAÑO; AVANZAR LA CINTA RECUBIERTA A TRAVES DE UNA CAMARA DE ATMOSFERA CONTROLADA INMEDIATAMENTE ADYACENTE; Y APLICAR AL MENOS UN RECUBRIMIENTO A LA SUPERFICIE QUE MIRA HACIA ARRIBA DE LA CINTA DE VIDRIO, DENTRO DE LA CAMARA DE ATMOSFERA CONTROLADA.
