Abstract

A mudflap (1) adapted for fixing behind a wheel of a road vehicle (6), the mudflap comprising a panel of thermoplastic or rubber material formed with uniformly spaced columns of discrete uniformly spaced elongate protuberances (9) whereby the downwardly directed drainage channels created between the columns are intersected by transverse drainage channels over substantially the entire width of the panel (2).
