Abstract
A system which reduces the drag on the movement of a boat, based on providing a depression at the prow. A streamlined opening is made in the hull through a conduit that is directed from the front of the prow and sloping toward the keel. Toward the end of the conduit, a pump helps create the depression by extracting the trapped water. <IMAGE>
