Abstract
In machines which comprise a load container 1, a supply device 2, a conditioning device 3, in which the product to be granulated is mixed with liquids such as molasses 4 or proteins 5 and with vapour 6, a granulating press 7 which presses the product in a die 8 in order to form granules, a cooling device 9 and control means for the regulation of the process, the equipment is characterized in that the control means are modular and comprise at least one module 36, 37, 38 for controlling the metering-out of liquids and at least one module 39, 40, 41 for controlling the load and the addition of vapour, the modules operating autonomously or with the incorporation of a central computer 42. The modules 36, 37, 38 30, 40, 41 carry out functions of monitoring the process, totalling the production data and formulation. It improves the versatility and control of the process.
