Abstract

The preparation of laevo-dropropizine and dextro-dropropizine is carried out by selectively reacting 1-phenylpiperazine with (R)-glycidol and (S)-glycidol, respectively. Application to the simple and selective preparation of laevo-dropropizine and dextro-dropropizine with good yields.
