Abstract

A magazine container is designed to possess minimal weight and high torsional rigidity, in order to ensure high positioning accuracy of positionally orientated individual workpieces placed in the container. To this end, the container is stiffened by an upper and a lower edge flange (14, 16) and by stiffening ribs (34, 36) arranged on the container wall (18). The upper edge flange (14) is formed by at least two peripheral edge ridges (20, 22), between which stiffening (24, 26) ribs are likewise provided, and receivers (50) for positioning the container are preferably arranged in the region of said edge ridges. Preferred field of application are automatic assembly systems in manufacturing industries.
