Abstract
An overflow 5 is caused to fall from the crest of the dam 1 vertically above an underlying flow passing through the bottom valves 2. The air bubbles introduced by the overflowing stream 5 as it falls are entrained by the veins of water of the undercurrent flow 6 and act so as to improve the aeration of the latter. The invention applies to improving the reoxygenation of water in line with dams.
