UN METODO Y APARATO PARA EL CONTROL INTEGRAL DE UNA VARIABLE DEPENDIENTE EN UN SISTEMA QUE TIENE POR LO MENOS DOS VARIABLES INDEPENDIENTES QUE INFLUYEN EN LA VARIABLE DEPENDIENTE. UNA SEÑAL DE DIFERENCIA INDICATIVA DE LA DIFERENCIA EXISTENTE ENTRE LA VARIABLE DEPENDIENTE DETECTADA Y UNA REFERENCIA SE INTEGRA Y SUMINISTRA A UNA FUNCION DE TRANSFERENCIA DE HISTERISIS. LA SALIDA DE LA FUNCION DE TRANSFERENCIA SE RESTA DE LA SEÑAL DE DIFERENCIA INTEGRADA Y LA SEÑAL RESULTANTE SE UTILIZA PARA CONTROLAR UNA VARIABLE INDEPENDIENTE QUE POR TANTO INCLUYE A LA VARIABLE DEPENDIENTE SOLO EN EL CASO DE PEQUEÑAS VARIACIONES DE LA MAGNITUD DE LA SEÑAL INTEGRADA. LA SEÑAL INTEGRADA SE UTILIZA PARA CONTROLAR A OTRA VARIABLE INDEPENDIENTE PARA LAS GRANDES VARIACIONES DE LA MAGNITUD DE LA SEÑAL INTEGRADA. LA OTRA VARIABLE INDEPENDIENTE NORMALMENTE SOLO ES CAPAZ DE INFLUIR EN LA VARIABLE DEPENDIENTE PARA AMPLIAS VARIACIONES DE LA SEÑAL.
