Dispositivo de. envase para material quirúrgico de sutura, constituído por una placa de base configurada (2) provista de una cavidad (1), formada por embutición profunda de una lámina de plástico, y por una lámina de cubierta (5), pegadas o soldadas entre sí por una unión o costura (6), formando la cavidad (1) de la placa de base y una parte de la lámina de cubierta (5) el recipiente (1) para el material de sutura, y formando además la parte de la lámina de plástico que sobresale del recipiente (1) y la lámina de cubierta dos pestañas de rasgado situadas una frente a otra, caracterizado porque la parte superior (2) del envase, en la que se hallan situadas ambas pestañas, está realizada con esquinas (3) en ángulo recto, preferentemente redondeadas sólo ligeramente, porque además una parte de la lámina dé plástico de la pestaña de rasgado está provista de un recorte (4), mientras que la lámina de cubierta no presenta tal recorte, porque además la unión soldad (6) termina en un ángulo agudo (7) en el punto de rasga que la parte de la lámina de plástico que forma una de las pestañas de rasgado, está provista de un perfil (8 o 9), para permitir una mejor sujeción de la pestaña entre los dedos.
