Abstract
Un generador de onda sísmica caracterizado por un primer tubo alargado 20 encerrado en la parte superior y en la parte inferior; un. émbolo colocado 22 dentro del primer tubo; un vástago del émbolo 44, que tiene un agujero 54 a lo largo de su longitud interior para descargar los gases de combustión en el cual es llevado un pistón que se extiende a través de un agujero en la parte superior del primer tubo; un segundo tubo 48 llevado por el émbolo coaxialmente con el primer tubo para definir una cámara de combustión en el mismo; un tubo conductor 66 de combustible que se extiende dentro del vástago del émbolo, hasta aproximadamente la mitad de la cámara de combustión; mediante lo cual, cuando un combustible se introduce dentro de la cámara de combustión a través del tubo conductor de combustible se enciende, se aplica una fuerza al émbolo en una dirección y se aplica una fuerza al tubo en una dirección opuesta, generando de esta manera ondas sísmicas, cuando la superficie del terreno se poneen contacto con el primer tubo.
