Abstract

Válvula de grifería; para controlar el caudal de fluido entre un primer conducto y un segundo conducto que han de acoplarse a la válvula; caracterizada porque.comprende discos cerámicos primero y segundo en contacto entre si de modo que tengan una superficie interfacial común; poseyendo él primer disco dos aberturas que se extienden a través de dicho disco y acoplados respectivamente a dichos conductos primero y segundo, poseyendo el segundo disco una cavidad alargada en la superficie interfacial común; de longitud y profundidad suficientes para proporcionar el único acoplamiento entre las dos aberturas, medios para hacer girar el segundo disco alrededor de un eje perpendicular a la superficie interfacial común sin hacer girar el primer disco y sin cambiar el espaciado entre los dos discos; medios para mantener continuamente los dos discos en contacto físico entre sí en la superficie interfacial durante todos loa cambios de presión del fluido entrante y durante todos los giros del segundo disco.
