Caja para el embalaje y el transporte de artículos alimenticios u otros productos, en particular frutas y verduras, caracterizada por constar de dos secciones distintas a saber: a)una estructura portante (o armazón), hecha de material plástico que incluye cuatro montantes angulares de soporte que sobresalen de las paredes laterales y están unidos entre si por diez nervios laterales horizontales, de sección simple o doble, dispuestos de modo que formen la armazón de las paredes laterales, y por cinco nervios simples de fondo, que tienen misión de soporte, estando dichos diez nervios laterales reforzados por otros ocho nervios verticales; y b)un revestimiento interno constituido por cartón ondulado hoja de material plástico de estructura alveolar o lámina delgada hecha de otro material.
