Abstract
Alfombra, caracterizada por el hecho de estar constituída por la asociación de una lámina textil, formada por un tejido de punto por urdimbre, a base de hilos de materia sintético del grupo que comprende los poliamídicos, los acrílicos, los poliesteres y los polipropilénicos, que inicialmente se teje según un ligamento indesmallable con gran densidad de bastas para transformar posteriormente estas bastas en bucles cerrados o abiertos, mediante una operación de perohado o similar y un estabilizado térmico, en orden a incrementar la densidad superficial de materia, a expensas de reducir dimensionalmente la superficie inicial del tejido, a una lámina de látex o caucho esponjosos, que es fijada directamente por vulcanizado y/o por medio de una substancia adherente.
