Abstract

1. Elemento estructural compuesto de metal y plástico sobremoldeado, para su uso como elemento de construcción en vehículos y similares, que combina un cuerpo base (2) alargado hueco y abierto de un lado, hecho de chapa metálica, y una parte de material plástico (3,4) incorporado al cuerpo base (2) mediante sobremoldeo, que incluye un entramado (3) de nervios de refuerzo (3a,3b) transversales dentro del cuerpo soporte (2), y medios (4a,6) de unión de ambas partes de plástico (3,4,6) y de metal (2), hechos de igual plástico durante el mismo proceso de moldeo, caracterizado en que el cuerpo soporte (2) está conformado con un hueco entre dos paredes laterales (2b) cada una de ellas con un borde (7), y la parte de material plástico (3,4,6) comprende además un recubrimiento (4) del cuerpo (2) soporte, desde el que se extienden dichos medios de unión (4a,6) enlazando los medios de unión (4 a) con dichos nervios de refuerzo (3a,3b), por encima de los bordes (7) de las paredes laterales (2b).
