Abstract

The invention relates to a holder for a hand-held shower (5) which is supplied with water via a flexible tube line (55) and is located on a sanitary fitting (11) having at least one shut-off valve (2) which projects, with a housing part (21), from the body (11) of the fitting and bears a setting knob (4). In order to improve said holder, it is proposed that, between the fitting body (11) and the setting knob (4), there be arranged on the protruding housing part (21) of the shut-off valve (2) a shaped piece (3) having a plug-in receiving means (30) for the hand-held shower (5).
