Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem ersten Teilsystem (101) und einem zweiten Teilsystem (102), wobei das erste Teilsystem (101) eine Lenkwelle (2), eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe (3), einen Feedback-Aktuator (5), eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle (2) und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit (4) zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle (2) aufweist, und wobei das zweite Teilsystem (102) eine Lenkstellereinheit (9), ein Koppelelement (12), eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit (15) zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes (12) und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit (16) zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes (12) aufweist. Zur Erhöhung der Fehlerrobustheit sind das erste Teilsystem (101) und das zweite Teilsystem (102) über eine Kommunikationsverbindung (20) miteinander verbunden, wobei die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) eingerichtet ist, Sensordaten (32) von dem ersten Teilsystem (101) an das zweite Teilsystem (102) zu übertragen und Sensordaten (31) von dem zweiten Teilsystem (102) an das erste Teilsystem (101) zu übertragen. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eine solchen Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems.

Description

Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem mit vernetzten Teilsystemen und Verfahren zum Betreiben eines solchen Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem ersten Teilsystem und einem zweiten Teilsystem, wobei das erste Teilsystem eine Lenkwelle, eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe, einen Feedback-Aktuator, eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle aufweist, und wobei das zweite Teilsystem eine Lenkstellereinheit, ein Koppelelement, insbesondere eine Zahnstange, eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes aufweist. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines solchen Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems.
Steer-by-Wire-Lenksysteme sind im Stand der Technik vielfach beschrieben. Beispielsweise offenbart die DE 10 2018 114 988 Al ein Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem mit einer Lenkhandhabe, einem Feedback-Aktuator und einem Lenksteiler, wobei über die Lenkhandhabe ein Lenkbefehl vorgegeben werden kann, der von dem Lenksteiler in eine Lenkbewegung von lenkbaren Rädern eines Kraftfahrzeugs umgesetzt werden kann. Eine Herausforderung bei Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystemen besteht darin, ein Kraftfahrzeug auch bei einem Auftreten von Fehlern in dem Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem kontrollierbar zu halten. Die DE 10 2020 100 719 Al schlägt dazu vor, beim einem Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Vorderachs- und einer Hinterachslenkung im Fehlerfall der Vorderachs- oder der Hinterachslenkung die fehlerbehaftete Lenkung abzuschalten und eine Lenkbewegung mittels eines autonomen Fahrmodus oder einer abgeleiteten Soll-Bewegung zu ermöglichen. Aus der DE 10 2019 217 588 Al ist zudem bekannt, dass nach einer Fahrzeugkollision, durch die ein oder mehrere Räder einer Fahrzeugachse nicht mehr vollständig oder auch gar nicht mehr lenkbar sind, mittels der funktionsfähigen Lenkachse gelenkt wird und ein Bremssignal an eines der mit dieser Lenkachse verbundenen Fahrzeugräder übermittelt wird. Darüber hinaus ist es bekannt, Komponenten des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems redundant auszugestalten, sodass im Falle eines Auftretens eines Fehlers in einer Komponente die entsprechende Funktion dieser Komponente von der redundanten Komponente ausgeführt wird. Beispielsweise wird in der DE 10 2020 209 270 Al eine redundant ausgebildete Steuereinheit offenbart, die in einem Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem eingesetzt werden kann. Eine redundante Ausgestaltung von Komponenten eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems ist auch in der US 2022/0001916 Al offenbart. Des Weiteren offenbart die DE 10 2004 008 203 Al ein System und ein Verfahren zur initialen Ausrichtung der Räder eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems eines Kraftfahrzeugs. Dieses Steer-by- Wire-Lenksystem umfasst dabei ein erstes Teilsystem mit einer Lenkwelle, mit einer an der Lenkwelle angeordneten Lenkhandhabe, mit einem Lenkrad-Aktuator mit zugeordneter Motorendstufe, mit einer Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle, mit einer Relativsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle und mit einem Lenkrad-Controller. Zudem umfasst das Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystem ein zweites Teilsystem mit lenkbaren Rädern, die durch einen dem jeweiligen lenkbaren Rad zugeordneten Rad-Aktuator gelenkt werden können, wobei die Rad-Aktuatoren über eine jeweilige Motorendstufe von einem Rad-Controller gesteuert werden. Zur Bestimmung eines relativen und eines absoluten Radwinkels umfasst das zweite Teilsystem Radsensoren. Zwischen dem Lenkrad-Controller des ersten Teilsystems und dem Rad-Controller des zweiten Teilsystems können Sensordaten übertragen werden.
Ein ähnliches Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem wird in der DE 10 2004 030 685 Al beschrieben. Das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem ist dabei derart eingerichtet, dass eine modellgestützte Fehlererkennung ermöglicht wird, wobei anstelle zusätzlicher Hardwarekomponenten eine analytische Redundanz benutzt wird, um auf diese Weise Kosten zu verringern und die Zuverlässigkeit zu erhöhen.
Hiervon ausgehend besteht ein weitergehender Bedarf, ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Steer-by- Wire-Lenksystem bei auftretenden Fehlern in oder an dem Lenksystem kontrollierbar zu halten, und so das Risiko für Personenschäden weiter zu reduzieren.
Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystem und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems weiter zu verbessern, und insbesondere eine kosteneffiziente Methode zu finden, um mögliche Fehler bei der Messung grundlegender Parameter in einem Steer-by-Wire-System zu beseitigen.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe werden ein Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem gemäß Anspruch 1 und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems gemäß dem nebengeordneten Anspruch vorgeschlagen. Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen und der Beschreibung beschrieben sowie in den Figuren dargestellt. Die vorgeschlagene Lösung sieht ein Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem ersten Teilsystem und einem zweiten Teilsystem vor. Das erste Teilsystem umfasst eine Lenkwelle, eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe, insbesondere ein Lenkrad, einen Feedback-Aktuator, eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle. Als Relativwinkelsensoreinheit ist insbesondere eine einem Elektromotor des Feedback-Aktuators zugeordnete Rotorpositionssensoreinheit vorgesehen. Das zweite Teilsystem umfasst eine Lenkstellereinheit, ein Koppelelement, insbesondere eine Zahnstange, eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes. Als Relativpositionssensoreinheit ist insbesondere eine einem Elektromotor der Lenkstellereinheit zugeordnete Rotorpositionssensoreinheit vorgesehen. Erfindungsgemäß sind bei dem Steer-by- Wire-Lenksystem das erste Teilsystem und das zweite Teilsystem über eine Kommunikationsverbindung miteinander verbunden, wobei die Kommunikationsverbindung eingerichtet ist, Sensordaten von dem ersten Teilsystem an das zweite Teilsystem zu übertragen und Sensordaten von dem zweiten Teilsystem an das erste Teilsystem zu übertragen. Vorteilhafterweise ist durch diese Ausgestaltung der Austausch von Sensordaten zwischen den Teilsystemen verbessert, wobei vorteilhafterweise insbesondere bei einem Ausfall eines der Teilsysteme Sensordaten dem noch funktionsfähigen Teilsystem verbessert bereitstellbar sind. Insbesondere ist vorgesehen, dass die Kommunikationsverbindung redundant ausgebildet ist.
Gemäß einer besonders vorteilhaften Weiterbildung umfasst das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem ein drittes Teilsystem, wobei das dritte Teilsystem eine Schnittstelle zu einem Backup-Lenksystem aufweist, und wobei die Kommunikationsverbindung vorteilhafterweise weiter eingerichtet ist, Sensordaten von dem ersten Teilsystem und/oder von dem zweiten Teilsystem an das dritte Teilsystem zu übertragen. Die Schnittstelle ist dabei vorteilhafterweise eingerichtet, an das dritte Teilsystem übertragene Sensordaten an das Backup-Lenksystem zu übertragen. Vorteilhafterweise wird das Backup-Lenksystem durch eine oder vorzugsweise mehrere Fahrzeugbaugruppe gebildet, die abweichend von der originären Aufgabe zur Umsetzung einer Lenkvorgabe eingesetzt werden. Insbesondere kann ein entsprechend angesteuertes Bremssystem und/oder ein entsprechend angesteuertes Antriebssystem und/oder ein entsprechend angesteuertes aktives Fahrwerk von dem Backup-Lenksystem umfasst sein. Bei einem Ausfall des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems, der ein Lenken eines Kraftfahrzeugs mittels des Backup-Lenksystems erforderlich macht, können für ein Lenken des Kraftfahrzeugs relevante Sensordaten dabei vorteilhafterweise über die Kommunikationsverbindung an das dritte Teilsystem und somit an das Backup-Lenksystem übertragen und somit die Funktionsfähigkeit des Backup-Lenksystems verbessert werden. Insbesondere ist ein Gesamtlenksystem vorgesehen, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem und das Backup-Lenksystem umfasst, wobei bei dieser Ausgestaltung das dritte Teilsystem von dem Gesamtlenksystem umfasst ist und insbesondere das Backup-Lenksystem umfasst. Dieses Gesamtlenksystem kann dabei insbesondere als erfindungsgemäßes Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem mit ergänztem Backup- Lenksystem ausgebildet sein.
Insbesondere sieht eine Ausgestaltungsvariante vor, dass den Teilsystemen jeweils eine Steuereinheit, insbesondere eine ECU (ECU: Electronic Control Unit), zugeordnet ist. Dabei kann entweder jedes Teilsystem eine Steuereinheit umfassen. Eine vorteilhafterweise Ausgestaltung sieht aber eine zentrale Steuereinheit vor, wobei Sub-Steuereinheiten dieser zentralen Steuereinheit den Teilsystemen jeweils als Steuereinheit zugeordnet sind.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems sieht vor, dass die Kommunikationsverbindung durch ein Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk, insbesondere CAN (CAN: Controller Area Network) und/oder durch einen privaten Kommunikationskanal zwischen den Teilsystemen realisiert ist. Insbesondere ist vorgesehen, dass eine High-Level- Kommunikationsverbindung als Kommunikationsverbindung genutzt wird. Insbesondere ist vorgesehen, dass die Kommunikationsverbindung wenigstens auf einer Layer-2-Ebene bezogen auf das ISO/OSI-Referenzmodell realisiert ist. Vorzugsweise ist die Kommunikationsverbindung leitungsgebunden realisiert. Gemäß einer Ausgestaltungsvariante ist aber auch eine vollständige oder teilweise drahtlos ausgebildete Kommunikationsverbindung, insbesondere eine Funkverbindung, vorgesehen.
Weiter vorteilhaft ist das zweite Teilsystem des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit des zweiten Teilsystems, ausgebildet, von der von dem ersten Teilsystem umfassten Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit bereitgestellte Winkelmesswerte zu empfangen, insbesondere über eine erste direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle zu der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit. Vorteilhafterweise werden dabei von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit erfasste Winkelmesswerte direkt an das zweite Teilsystem, insbesondere direkt an die Lenkstellereinheit, insbesondere an eine der Lenkstellereinheit zugeordnete Steuereinheit, übertragen. Insbesondere ist die Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit dabei direkt mit dem zweiten Teilsystem verdrahtet. Vorteilhafterweise ist das zweite Teilsystem somit ausgebildet, für ein Einstellen eines korrekten Radlenkwinkels erforderliche Lenkinformationen direkt zu empfangen. Insbesondere ist als Ausgestaltungsvariante vorgesehen, dass die erste Kommunikationsschnittstelle nicht von der Kommunikationsverbindung umfasst ist, sondern separat ausgebildet ist.
Das zweite Teilsystem, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit, ist vorteilhafterweise weiter ausgebildet, der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit die für den Betrieb benötigte Energie bereitzustellen, vorteilhafterweise über die direkte Verbindung, insbesondere über die erste direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle. Vorteilhafterweise wird dabei von dem zweiten Teilsystem gesteuert eine für den Betrieb der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit erforderliche Spannung bereitgestellt. Insofern ist die Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit vorteilhafterweise nicht auf eine Energieversorgung durch das erste Teilsystem angewiesen.
Gemäß einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems ist das erste Teilsystem ausgebildet, von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit bereitgestellte Positionsmesswerte zu empfangen, insbesondere über eine zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle zu der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit. Aus diesen Positionsmesswerten ergibt sich insbesondere die absolute Position des Koppelelementes des zweiten Teilsystems und damit letztlich ein eingestellter Radlenkwinkel von gelenkten Rädern des Kraftfahrzeugs. Vorteilhafterweise werden von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit erfasste Positionsmesswerte dabei direkt an das erste Teilsystem, insbesondere direkt an den Feedback- Aktuator, weiter insbesondere direkt an eine dem ersten Teilsystem zugeordnete Steuereinheit, übertragen. Insbesondere ist die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit dabei direkt mit dem zweiten Teilsystem verdrahtet. Vorteilhafterweise ist das erste Teilsystem somit ausgebildet, Positionsmesswerte bezüglich einer konkreten Position des Koppelelementes, und somit insbesondere Informationen bezüglich eines eingestellten Radlenkwinkels, direkt zu empfangen. Insbesondere ist als Ausgestaltungsvariante vorgesehen, dass die zweite Kommunikationsschnittstelle nicht von der Kommunikationsverbindung umfasst ist, sondern separat ausgebildet ist. Weiter insbesondere können die erste Kommunikationsschnittstelle und die zweite Kommunikationsschnittstelle einem gemeinsamen Kommunikationskanal zugeordnet sein.
Vorteilhafterweise ist das erste Teilsystem ausgebildet, der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit die für den Betrieb benötigte Energie bereitzustellen, vorteilhafterweise über die direkte Verbindung, insbesondere über die zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle. Insbesondere wird dabei von dem ersten Teilsystem gesteuert eine für den Betrieb der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit erforderliche Spannung bereitgestellt. Insofern ist die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit vorteilhafterweise nicht auf eine Energieversorgung durch das zweite Teilsystem angewiesen.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung sieht vor, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem für einen Betrieb in einem Kraftfahrzeug in unterschiedlichen Betriebsmodi ausgebildet ist. Insbesondere ist das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem in einem ersten Betriebsmodus für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb des Steer-by-Wire-Systems eingerichtet. Dieser erste Betriebsmodus ist dabei der Normalbetriebsmodus, in dem üblicherweise das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem betrieben wird.
Weiter insbesondere ist das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem in einem zweiten Betriebsmodus für einen Betrieb bei einem Ausfall, insbesondere einem vollständigen Ausfall, des ersten Teilsystems eingerichtet. Dieser zweite Betriebsmodus sieht vorteilhafterweise vor, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem ein Kraftfahrzeug weiter unter Nutzung des zweiten Teilsystems lenkt, auch wenn das erste Teilsystem ausgefallen ist.
Weiter insbesondere ist das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem in einem dritten Betriebsmodus für einen Betrieb bei einem Ausfall, insbesondere einem vollständigen Ausfall, des zweiten Teilsystems, insbesondere der Lenkstellereinheit des zweiten Teilsystems, ausgebildet. Dieser dritte Betriebsmodus sieht vorteilhafterweise vor, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem ein Kraftfahrzeug unter Nutzung eines Backup-Lenksystems lenkt, wenn das zweite Teilsystem, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit, ausgefallen ist. Vorteilhafterweise werden dem Backup- Lenksystem dabei von Sensoren des ersten Teilsystems und des zweiten Teilsystems erfasste Sensordaten von dem ersten Teilsystem zur Verfügung gestellt, insbesondere Informationen bezüglichen eines absoluten Winkels der Lenkwelle und Informationen bezüglich einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes.
Das des Weiteren vorgeschlagene Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems in einem Kraftfahrzeug, insbesondere einem nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 ausgebildeten Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem in einem Kraftfahrzeug, sieht vor, dass in einem ersten für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichteten Betriebsmodus das zweite Teilsystem einen von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit bereitgestellten Winkelmesswert erfasst, das zweite Teilsystem den erfassten Winkelmesswert in eine entsprechende Winkelinformation umwandelt, und das zweite Teilsystem die Winkelinformation über die Kommunikationsverbindung dem ersten Teilsystem bereitstellt. Ergänzend wird die Winkelinformation vorteilhafterweise auch dem dritten Teilsystem bereitgestellt. Die Winkelinformationen sind dabei insbesondere Sensordaten im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung. Das erste Teilsystem des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems umfasst dabei insbesondere eine Lenkwelle, eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe, einen Feedback-Aktuator, eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle. Das zweite Teilsystem umfass insbesondere eine Lenkstellereinheit, ein Koppelelement, eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes. Das dritte Teilsystem umfasst insbesondere eine Schnittstelle zu einem Backup-Lenksystem, wobei das Backup-Lenksystem insbesondere durch eine Ansteuerung von aktiven Fahrzeugkomponenten realisiert wird, insbesondere durch eine Ansteuerung von den Rädern des Kraftfahrzeugs zugeordneten Bremsen, von Antriebseinheiten und/oder von aktiven Fahrwerkskomponenten. Dadurch, dass das zweite Teilsystem einen von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit bereitgestellten Winkelmesswert erfasst, steht dieser Winkelmesswert vorteilhafterweise dem zweiten Teilsystem auch bei einem zumindest teilweisen Ausfall des ersten Teilsystems zur Verfügung. In einem fehlerfreien Normalbetrieb verarbeitet das erste Teilsystem vorteilhafterweise die an das erste Teilsystem über die Kommunikationsverbindung übertragene Winkelinformation.
Insbesondere ist vorgesehen, dass das erste Teilsystem die über die Kommunikationsverbindung bereitgestellte Winkelinformation erfasst und aus dieser Winkelinformation und einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle einen absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel bestimmt. Diese Bestimmung des absoluten Lenkwellenwinkels erfolgt vorteilhafterweise bei einer (Wieder-)lnbetriebnahme, um den absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel initial zu bestimmen. Für den weiteren Betrieb ist insbesondere vorgesehen, dass eine Bestimmung des absoluten Lenkwellenwinkels zumindest alternativ auch unter Berücksichtigung des initial bestimmten absoluten Lenkwellenwinkels und einem erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle ermittelt wird.
Gemäß einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung erfasst in dem ersten für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichteten Betriebsmodus das erste Teilsystem einen von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit bereitgestellten Positionsmesswert, wobei das erste Teilsystem den erfassten Positionsmesswert vorteilhafterweise in eine entsprechende Positionsinformation bezüglich einer Position des Koppelelementes umwandelt, wobei das erste Teilsystem vorteilhafterweise die Positionsinformation über die Kommunikationsverbindung dem zweiten Teilsystem bereitstellt. Ergänzend wird die Positionsinformation vorteilhafterweise auch dem dritten Teilsystem bereitgestellt. Die Positionsinformationen sind dabei insbesondere Sensordaten im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung. Vorteilhafterweise stehen die Positionsmesswerte so dem ersten Teilsystem auch bei einem zumindest teilweisen Ausfall des zweiten Lenksystems zur Verfügung, und können insbesondere als Positionsinformationen dem dritten Teilsystem und somit insbesondere einem Backup-Lenksystem des Kraftfahrzeugs zur Verfügung gestellt werden, sodass vorteilhafterweise ein verbessertes Manövrieren des Kraftfahrzeugs unter Nutzung des Backup-Lenksystems bei einem Ausfall des zweiten Lenksystems ermöglicht ist.
Insbesondere ist vorgesehen, dass das zweite Teilsystem, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit des zweiten Teilsystems, weiter insbesondere eine der Lenkstellereinheit zugeordnete Auswerteeinheit, die über die Kommunikationsverbindung bereitgestellte Positionsinformation erfasst, und vorteilhafterweise aus dieser Positionsinformation und einer mittels einer Relativpositionssensoreinheit erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes eine absolute Koppelelementposition bestimmt. Diese Bestimmung der absoluten Koppelelementposition erfolgt vorteilhafterweise bei einer (Wieder-)lnbetriebnahme des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems, um die absolute Koppelelementposition initial zu bestimmen. Für den weiteren Betrieb ist insbesondere vorgesehen, dass eine Bestimmung der absoluten Koppelelementposition zumindest alternativ auch unter Berücksichtigung der initial bestimmten absoluten Koppelelementposition und einer erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes ermittelt wird.
Gemäß einer vorteilhaften Weiterbildung des Verfahrens ist vorgesehen, dass in einem dritten Betriebsmodus, in dem wegen eines Fehlers in dem zweiten Teilsystem das Kraftfahrzeug mittels eines Backup-Lenksystems gelenkt wird, das erste Teilsystem einen absoluten Winkel der Lenkwelle basierend auf einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle und einem zuvor bestimmten absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel bestimmt, dieser bestimmte absolute Winkel der Lenkwelle zusammen mit der umgewandelten Positionsinformation dem dritten Teilsystem vorteilhafterweise bereitgestellt wird, wobei die Schnittstelle des dritten Teilsystems den bestimmten absoluten Winkel und die Positionsinformation vorteilhafterweise an das Backup-Lenksystem weiterleitet. Der absolute Lenkwellenwinkel wurde dabei insbesondere während eines fehlerfreien Betriebs bestimmt. Die an das dritte Teilsystem übertragenen Informationen, insbesondere der absolute Winkel der Lenkwelle und die Positionsinformation sind insbesondere Sensordaten im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung. Mittels der so übertragenen Sensordaten ist das Backup-Lenksystem vorteilhafterweise verbessert eingerichtet, das Kraftfahrzeug gemäß einer Lenkvorgabe zu manövrieren.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung des Verfahrens sieht vor, dass in einem zweiten Betriebsmodus, in dem wegen eines Fehlers in dem ersten Teilsystem das erste Teilsystem keine Positionsinformation bereitstellen kann, das zweite Teilsystem die absolute Koppelelementposition basierend auf einer mittels der Relativpositionssensoreinheit erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes und einer zuvor bestimmten absoluten Koppelelementposition bestimmt, wobei eine Information bezüglich eines absoluten Winkels der Lenkwelle direkt von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit erfasst wird. Die absolute Koppelelementposition wurde dabei insbesondere während eines fehlerfreien Betriebs bestimmt. Vorteilhafterweise bleibt ein Kraftfahrzeug so auch bei einem Auftreten eines schwerwiegenden Fehlers in dem ersten Teilsystem mittels des zweiten Teilsystems lenkbar.
Vorteilhafterweise ist gemäß einer weiteren Ausgestaltung ein vorgeschlagenes Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystem weiter für einen Betrieb gemäß einem erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Verfahren ausgebildet.
Weitere vorteilhafte Einzelheiten, Merkmale und Ausgestaltungsdetails der Erfindung werden im Zusammenhang mit den in den Figuren (Fig.: Figur) dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. Dabei zeigt:
Fig. 1 in einer vereinfachten perspektivischen Darstellung ein Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem;
Fig. 2 in einer vereinfachten schematischen Darstellung ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem; und
Fig. 3 in einer Blockschaltbilddarstellung ein Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems.
In den verschiedenen Figuren sind gleiche Teile in der Regel mit den gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen und werden daher mitunter auch jeweils nur im Zusammenhang mit einer der Figuren erläutert. In Fig. 1 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystem 1 für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem ersten Teilsystem 101 und einem zweiten Teilsystem 102 dargestellt. Das erste Teilsystems 101 des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems 1 umfasst eine Lenksäule mit einer Lenkwelle 2 und einem Feedback-Aktuator 5. An einem Ende der Lenkwelle 2 ist eine als Lenkrad ausgebildete Lenkhandhabe 3 drehfest angeordnet. Über die Lenkhandhabe 3 kann ein Fahrzeugnutzer einen Lenkbefehl vorgeben. Der Feedback-Aktuator 5 ist ausgebildet, ein Drehmoment beziehungsweise ein Lenkwiderstands-Drehmoment auf die Lenkwelle 2 auszuüben, insbesondere zur Vermittlung eines Lenkgefühls. Dieses Lenkwiderstands-Drehmoment ist von einem Fahrzeugnutzer des Kraftfahrzeugs über die Lenkhandhabe 3 als Lenkwiderstand wahrnehmbar.
Die Lenkhandhabe 3 des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems 1 lässt sich in bekannter Weise drehen, um einen Lenkbefehl in die Lenkwelle 2 einzubringen, der sensorisch erfasst wird. Dazu umfasst das erste Teilsystem 101 in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel eine der Lenkwelle 2 zugeordnete Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7, die ausgebildet ist, einen mittels der Lenkhandhabe 3 eingestellten Winkel als absoluten Lenkwinkel der Lenkwelle 2 zu erfassen. Zudem ist einem Elektromotor 6 des Feedback-Aktuators 5 des ersten Teilsystems 101 eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 zugeordnet, wobei die Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ein Rotorpositionssensor ist. Mittels des Rotorpositionssensors lässt sich der relative Lenkwinkel der Lenkwelle 2 erfassen.
Das zweite Teilsystem 102 des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems 1 umfasst eine Lenkstellereinheit 9. Die Lenkstellereinheit 9 umfasst in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ein Lenkritzel 11 und einen das Lenkritzel 11 antreibenden Elektromotor 10. Durch entsprechende Ansteuerung der Lenkstellereinheit 9 wird das Lenkritzel 11 zur Umsetzung eines Lenkbefehls in eine Lenkbewegung der lenkbaren Räder 14 von dem Elektromotor 10 angetrieben. Dabei wirkt die Lenkstellereinheit 9 mittels des Elektromotors 10 über das Lenkritzel 11 auf ein als Zahnstange ausgebildetes Koppelelement 12 und löst so eine Lenkbewegung der lenkbaren Räder 14 eines Kraftfahrzeugs aus, die insbesondere über Spurstangen 13 mit dem Koppelelement 12 verbunden sind. Die Spurstangen 13 selbst sind in bekannter Weise über Achsschenkel mit je einem gelenkten Rad 14 verbunden. Das zweite Teilsystem 102 umfasst des Weiteren eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes 12 und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes 12. Als Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 wird in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ein dem Elektromotor 10 der Lenkstellereinheit 9 zugeordneter Rotorpositionssensor genutzt. Die Lenkstellereinheit 9 des zweiten Teilsystems 102 stellt in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel die für den Betrieb der von dem ersten Teilsystem 101 umfassten Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 notwendige Energie bereit und empfängt direkt die Winkelmesswerte, die die Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 liefert. Dazu ist die Lenkstellereinheit 9 über eine erste direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle 34, die von dem Kommunikationskanal 18 umfasst ist, mit der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 verbunden. Für die Übertragung der Winkelmesswerte wird vorteilhafterweise als Kommunikationsprotokoll SENT oder SPC verwendet. Die Winkelmesswerte werden dann von dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 beziehungsweise von einer dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 zugeordneten Steuereinheit in entsprechende Winkelinformationen umgewandelt, und über eine High-Level-Kommunikationsverbindung 20 an das erste Teilsystem
101 übertragen, wobei das erste Teilsystem 101 insbesondere eine dem ersten Teilsystem 101 zugeordnete Steuereinheit die empfangene Winkelinformation 31 zusammen mit einem von der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 bereitgestellten Messwert einen absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel bestimmt.
In ähnlicher Weise stellt das erste Teilsystem 101, insbesondere der Feedback-Aktuator 5 des ersten Teilsystems 101, in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel die für den Betrieb der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 notwendige Energie bereit und empfängt direkt die Positionsmesswerte, die die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 liefert. Dazu ist der Feedback- Aktuator 5 über eine zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle 35, die ebenfalls von dem Kommunikationskanal 18 umfasst ist, mit der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 verbunden. Für die Übertragung der Positionsmesswerte wird vorteilhafterweise als Kommunikationsprotokoll SENT oder SPC verwendet. Die Positionsmesswerte werden dann von dem ersten Teilsystem 101 beziehungsweise von einer dem ersten Teilsystem 101 zugeordneten Steuereinheit in entsprechende Positionsinformationen 32 umgewandelt, und über die High-Level- Kommunikationsverbindung 20 an das zweite Teilsystem 102 übertragen.
Die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 verbindet also das erste Teilsystem 101 und das zweite Teilsystem 102 miteinander, wobei über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 insbesondere die von dem ersten Teilsystem 101 bestimmten Positionsinformationen 32 an das zweite Teilsystem
102 übertragen werden und die von dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 bestimmten Winkelinformationen 31 an das erste Teilsystem 101 übertragen werden. Ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Steer-by-Wire- Lenksystem 1 zeigt Fig. 2. Das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem 1 umfasst ein erstes Teilsystem 101, ein zweites Teilsystem 102 und ein drittes Teilsystem 103. Das erste Teilsystem 101 weist eine Lenkwelle 2, eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe 3, einen Feedback-Aktuator 5, eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle 2 und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle 2 auf. Das zweite Teilsystem 102 weist eine Lenkstellereinheit 9, ein Koppelelement 12, eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes 12 und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes 12 auf. Das dritte Teilsystem 103 weist eine Schnittstelle 19 zu einem Backup-Lenksystem 200 auf, wobei die Schnittstelle 19 zur Übertragung von Daten an das Backup-Lenksystem 200 ausgebildet ist.
Das Backup-Lenksystem 200 umfasst ein Bremssystem 201, ein Antriebssystem 202 und ein aktives Fahrwerkssystem 203, wobei das Backup-Lenksystem 200 eine gezielte Ansteuerung von Komponenten der Systeme 201, 202, 203 nutzt, um das Kraftfahrzeug bei einem Ausfall des zweiten Teilsystems 202 eine gezielte Lenkbewegung ausführen zu lassen.
Das in Fig. 2 dargestellte Lenksystem kann auch als ein Gesamtlenksystem 1‘ angesehen werden, wobei das Gesamtlenksystem 1‘ das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem 1 und das Backup- Lenksystem 200 umfasst und somit das erste Teilsystem 101, das zweite Teilsystem 102 und das dritte Teilsystem 103 umfasst.
Bei dem in Fig. 2 gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel sind das erste Teilsystem 101, das zweite Teilsystem 102 und das dritte Teilsystem 103 über eine Kommunikationsverbindung 20, die insbesondere redundant ausgebildet sein kann, für einen Datenaustausch miteinander verbunden. Diese Kommunikationsverbindung 20 ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel derart ausgestaltet, dass das erste Teilsystem 101 und das zweite Teilsystem 102 über einen privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 miteinander verbunden sind und darüber hinaus das erste Teilsystem 101, das zweite Teilsystem 102 und das dritte Teilsystem 103 über ein Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 miteinander verbunden sind. Die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 ist insofern bezogen auf das ISO/OSI-Modell oberhalb der ersten Schicht angeordnet. Das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem 1 erfordert für einen korrekten Betrieb absolute Werte, das heißt Werte, die auf ein fixes Bezugssystem bezogen werden, beispielsweise die Neutralstellung der Lenkhandhabe als 0° Lenkwinkel der Lenkwelle 2. Der Feedback-Aktuator 5 ohne Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 ist ausgebildet, eine relative Messung vorzunehmen, indem er beispielsweise seinen Sensor für die Rotorposition des Servomotors als Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 verwendet. Um diese Werte nutzen zu können, ist aber eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit für einen anfänglichen Abgleich erforderlich. Sobald ein bestehender Offset zwischen dem absolut bestimmten Winkel und dem relativ bestimmten Winkel bestimmt ist, kann der Aktuator die Änderungen der Signalgröße anhand der Motorbewegungen allein bestimmen. Das bedeutet, dass der Feedback-Aktuator nach der Initialisierungsphase einen absoluten Winkel ohne eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit bestimmen kann.
Da die Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 somit nur für die Initialisierung benötigt wird, insbesondere bei einem Starten des Kraftfahrzeugs, ist die Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel von dem ersten Teilsystem 101, insbesondere von dem Feedback-Aktuator 5, entkoppelt und über eine erste Kommunikationsschnittstelle 34 direkt mit dem zweiten Teilsystem 102, insbesondere direkt mit der Lenkstellereinheit 9 des zweiten Teilsystems 102, verbunden. Während einer Initialisierungsphase überträgt das zweite Teilsystem 102, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit 9, einen gemessenen Absolutwert für den anfänglichen Abgleich zwischen absolutem und relativem Winkel über den privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 an das erste Teilsystem 101, insbesondere den Feedback-Aktuator 5. Wenn der Feedback- Aktuator 5, der das Hauptsignal über seinen Rotorpositionssensor als Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 liefert, ausfällt, liefert die Lenkstellereinheit 9 die erforderlichen Eingaben weiterhin direkt von dem Absolutwertgeber, also der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7.
Gleiches gilt in entsprechender Weise für die Bestimmung der Position des Koppelelementes 12. Die Lenkstellereinheit 9 ohne Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 ist ausgebildet, eine relative Messung vorzunehmen, indem diese beispielsweise einen Sensor für die Rotorposition des Servomotors als Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 verwendet. Auch hier gilt, dass eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 für einen anfänglichen Abgleich erforderlich ist, um die Werte der Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 nutzen zu können. Sobald ein bestehender Offset zwischen der absolut bestimmten Position des Koppelelementes 12 und der relativ bestimmten Position des Koppelelementes 12 bestimmt ist, kann die Lenkstellereinheit die Änderungen der Position anhand der Motorbewegungen allein bestimmen. Die Lenkstellereinheit 9 ist somit ausgebildet, nach der Initialisierungsphase eine absolute Position ohne die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 zu bestimmen.
Da die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 somit nur für die Initialisierung benötigt wird, insbesondere bei einem Starten des Kraftfahrzeugs, ist die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel von dem zweiten Teilsystem 102, insbesondere von der Lenkstellereinheit 9, entkoppelt und über eine zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle 35 direkt mit dem ersten Teilsystem 101, insbesondere dem Feedback-Aktuator 5 des ersten Teilsystems 101, verbunden. Während einer Initialisierungsphase überträgt das erste Teilsystem 101, insbesondere der Feedback-Aktuator 5, einen gemessenen Absolutwert für den anfänglichen Abgleich zwischen absoluter und relativer Position über den privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 an das zweite Teilsystem 101, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit 9. Wenn die Lenkstellereinheit 9, die auch das Hauptsignal über ihren Rotorpositionssensor als Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 liefert, ausfällt, liefert das erste Teilsystem 101 die erforderlichen Eingaben weiterhin direkt von dem Absolutwertgeber, also der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15. Die für ein Lenken des Kraftfahrzeugs notwendigen Signale werden dann vorteilhafterweise über das Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22an das dritte Teilsystem 103 und somit an das Backup-Lenksystem 200 übertragen.
Für einen Betrieb des Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems 1 im fehlerfreien Fall ist vorgesehen, dass die Lenkstellereinheit 9 des zweiten Teilsystems 102 absolute, auf den mittels der Lenkhandhabe eingestellte Winkel der Lenkwelle bezogene Messwerte von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 liest, diese in korrekte Winkelinformationen umwandelt und das Ergebnis über den privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 und das Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 zur Verfügung stellt.
In der Zwischenzeit liest das erste Teilsystem 101, insbesondere der Feedback-Aktuator 5, absolute, auf die absolute Position des Koppelelements 12 bezogene Messwerte von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15, wandelt diese in geeignete Positionsinformationen um und stellt das Ergebnis über den privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 und Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 zur Verfügung.
Das zweite Teilsystem 102, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit 9, liest die absoluten Positionsinformationen von dem privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 und/oder dem Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 und gleicht die von dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 durchgeführte relative Positionsmessung, die auf Messwerten des Rotorpositionssensors 16 basiert, ab, und erhält so Positionsdaten bezüglich der absoluten Position des Koppelelementes, und somit insbesondere Daten bezüglich eines eingestellten Radlenkwinkels der lenkbaren Räder 14, mit besserer Qualität, was auf die hohe Auflösung der Rotorpositionsmessung zurückzuführen ist.
Das erste Teilsystem 101, insbesondere der Feedback-Aktuator 5, liest die absoluten Winkelinformationen bezüglich eines eingestellten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle 2 über den privaten Kommunikationskanal 21 und/oder über das Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 und gleicht diese mit den von dem ersten Teilsystem 101 durchgeführten relativen Winkelmessungen ab, die auf den von dem dem Elektromotor 6 des Feedback-Aktuators 5 zugeordneten Rotorpositionssensor als Relativwinkelsensoreinheit4 erfassten Messwerten basieren. Auf diese Weise bestimmt das erste Teilsystem absolute Winkelinformationen bezüglich eines eingestellten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle 2 mit besserer Qualität, was auf die hohe Auflösung der Rotorpositionsmessung zurückzuführen ist.
Auf diese Weise erhalten das erste Teilsystem 101 und das zweite Teilsystem 102, insbesondere der Feedback-Aktuator 5 und die Lenkstellereinheit 9, die richtigen absoluten Informationen bezüglich des Winkels der Lenkwelle 2 beziehungsweise bezüglich der Position des Koppelelements 12. Mittels der Lenkhandhabe 3 kann dann ein eine Lenkvorgabe eingestellt werden.
Bei einem Ausfall des ersten Teilsystems 101 kann das erste Teilsystem 101 keine absoluten Lenkradwinkelinformationen mehr liefern, aber das zweite Teilsystem, insbesondere die Lenkstellereinheit 9, kann weiterhin betrieben werden, weil die für den Betrieb erforderlichen Informationen weiterhin bereitgestellt werden können. So sind absolute Positionsinformationen bezüglich der Position des Koppelelements 12 mittels des als Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 genutzten Rotorpositionssensors verfügbar, wobei der notwendige Abgleich zwischen absolutem Positionsmesswert und relativem Positionsmesswert bereits im fehlerfreien Betrieb beim Start durchgeführt wurde. Die Informationen bezüglich des absoluten Winkels der Lenkwelle 2 werden zudem direkt von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 bereitgestellt. Ein Radlenkwinkel der gelenkten Räder 14 kann so gemäß einer Vorgabe weiterhin mittels der Lenkstellereinheit 9 eingestellt werden.
Bei einem Ausfall des zweiten Teilsystems 102, und somit einem Ausfall der Lenkstellereinheit 9, kann ein Radlenkwinkel der lenkbaren Räder 14 nicht mehr über die Lenkstellereinheit 9 zur Umsetzung einer Lenkvorgabe eingestellt werden. Die Umsetzung einer Lenkvorgabe erfolgt nun durch ein Backup-Lenksystems 200, wobei insbesondere durch ein gezieltes Abbremsen einzelner Räder und/oder ein gezieltes Aufbringen von Antriebsmomenten auf einzelne Räder und/oder durch gezielte Ansteuerung von den Rädern zugeordneten Komponenten eines aktiven Fahrwerks das Kraftfahrzeug manövriert wird. Hierfür benötigt das Backup-Lenksystem 200 sowohl Informationen bezüglich der Position des Koppelelements 12 als Informationen bezüglich des Winkels der Lenkwelle 2 und somit der Lenkhandhabe 3. Diese Informationen werden von dem ersten Teilsystem 101 über das Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 dem dritten Teilsystem 103 bereitgestellt, wobei die Informationen insbesondere über die Schnittstelle 19 dem Backup-Lenksystem 200 bereitgestellt werden. Ein absoluter Winkel der Lenkwelle 2 kann das erste Teilsystem 101 dabei auf Grundlage der mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 durchgeführten Messungen bereitstellten, wobei der Abgleich zwischen absolutem und relativem Messwert bereits bei der Inbetriebnahme im fehlerfreien Betrieb vorgenommen wurde.
Messwerte bezüglich der absoluten Position des Koppelelements 12 erfasst das erste Teilsystem 101 weiterhin über die Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15, wobei das erste Teilsystems 101 die erfassten Messwerte in absolute Positionsinformationen bezüglich der Position des Koppelelements 12 umwandelt, und diese Positionsinformationen als Sensordaten ebenfalls über das Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk 22 zur Nutzung durch das Backup-Lenksystem 200 bereitstellt.
Unter Bezugnahme auf Fig. 3 wird ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel für ein erfindungsgemäß ausgebildetes Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems, insbesondere eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems, das wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt ausgebildet sein kann, erläutert. Fig. 3 zeigt dazu ein vereinfachtes Blockschaltbild.
Das Verfahren sieht vor, das in einem ersten, für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichteten Betriebsmodus BMI das zweite Teilsystem 102 einen von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 bereitgestellten Winkelmesswert über eine erste Kommunikationsschnittstelle 34 erfasst (A), den erfassten Winkelmesswert in eine entsprechende Winkelinformation 31 umwandelt (B) und die Winkelinformation 31 über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 dem ersten Teilsystem 101 bereitstellt (C). Das erste Teilsystem 101 erfasst die die über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 bereitgestellte Winkelinformation 31 (D) und bestimmt aus dieser Winkelinformation 31 und einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle 2 einen absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel (E). Zudem erfasst das erste Teilsystem 101 über eine zweite Kommunikationsschnittstelle 35 einen von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 bereitgestellten Positionsmesswert (F), wandelt den erfassten Positionsmesswert in eine entsprechende Positionsinformation 32 bezüglich einer Position des Koppelelementes 12 um (G) und stellt die Positionsinformation 32 über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 bereit (H). Das zweite Teilsystem 102 erfasst die über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20 bereitgestellte Positionsinformation 32 (K) und bestimmt aus dieser Positionsinformation 32 und einer mittels der Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes 12 eine absolute Koppelelementposition (L).
Wird ein Fehler in dem ersten Teilsystem 101 erkannt, sodass insbesondere das erste Teilsystem 101 keine Positionsinformation 32 bereitstellen kann, so wechselt das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem in einen zweiten Betriebsmodus BM2 (M). Das zweite Teilsystem 102 bestimmt die absolute Koppelelementposition basierend auf einer mittels der Relativpositionssensoreinheit 16 erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes 12 und einer zuvor bestimmten absoluten Koppelelementposition (P). Zudem erfasst das zweite Teilsystem 102 eine Information bezüglich eines absoluten Winkels der Lenkwelle 2 direkt von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit 7 über die Kommunikationsverbindung 20. Mit diesen Informationen wird die Lenkstellereinheit 9 des zweiten Teilsystems 102 weiter zu Einstellung eines Radlenkwinkels der gelenkten Räder 14 betrieben (R).
Wird dagegen ein Fehler in dem zweiten Teilsystem 102 erkannt, sodass mittels der Lenkstellereinheit 9 kein Radlenkwinkel mehr eingestellt werden kann, so wechselt das Steer-by- Wire-Lenksystem in einen dritten Betriebsmodus BM3 (N). In diesem dritten Betriebsmodus BM3 bestimmt das erste Teilsystem 101 einen absoluten Winkel der Lenkwelle 2 basierend auf einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit 4 erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle 2 und einem zuvor bestimmten absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel (S). Weiterhin erfasst das erste Teilsystem 101 wie in dem ersten Betriebsmodus BMI einen von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit 15 bereitgestellten Positionsmesswert (F‘) und wandelt den erfassten Positionsmesswert in eine entsprechende Positionsinformation 32 bezüglich einer Position des Koppelelementes 12 um (G‘). Den bestimmten absoluten Winkel 33 der Lenkwelle 2 und die umgewandelte Positionsinformation 32 stellt das erste Teilsystem 101 dann dem dritten Teilsystem 103 bereit (T). Die Schnittstelle 19 des dritten Teilsystems 103 leitet den bestimmten absoluten Winkel 33 und die Positionsinformation 32 an das Backup-Lenksystem (200) weiter (U), das das Kraftfahrzeug unter Berücksichtigung der empfangenen Informationen 32, 33 lenkt (V). Die in den Figuren dargestellten und im Zusammenhang mit diesen erläuterten Ausführungsbeispiele dienen der Erläuterung der Erfindung und sind für diese nicht beschränkend.

Claims

Ansprüche
1. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem ersten Teilsystem (101) und einem zweiten Teilsystem (102), wobei das erste Teilsystem (101) eine Lenkwelle (2), eine drehfest an einem Ende der Lenkwelle angeordnete Lenkhandhabe (3), einen Feedback- Aktuator (5), eine Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) zur Bestimmung eines absoluten Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle (2) und eine Relativwinkelsensoreinheit (4) zur Bestimmung eines relativen Lenkwinkels der Lenkwelle (2) aufweist, und wobei das zweite Teilsystem (102) eine Lenkstellereinheit (9), ein Koppelelement (12), eine Absolutpositionssensoreinheit (15) zur Bestimmung einer absoluten Position des Koppelelementes (12) und eine Relativpositionssensoreinheit (16) zur Bestimmung einer relativen Position des Koppelelementes (12) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Teilsystem (101) und das zweite Teilsystem (102) über eine Kommunikationsverbindung (20) miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) eingerichtet ist, Sensordaten (32) von dem ersten Teilsystem (101) an das zweite Teilsystem (102) zu übertragen und Sensordaten (31) von dem zweiten Teilsystem (102) an das erste Teilsystem (101) zu übertragen.
2. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch ein drittes Teilsystem (103), wobei das dritte Teilsystem (103) eine Schnittstelle (19) zu einem Backup-Lenksystem (200) aufweist, und wobei die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) weiter eingerichtet ist, Sensordaten (31, 32, 33) von dem ersten Teilsystem (101) und/oder von dem zweiten Teilsystem (102) an das dritte Teilsystem (103) zu übertragen, und wobei die Schnittstelle (19) eingerichtet ist, an das dritte Teilsystem (103) übertragene Sensordaten (31, 32) an das Backup-Lenksystem (200) zu übertragen.
3. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) durch ein Fahrzeugkommunikationsnetzwerk (22) realisiert ist und/oder durch einen privaten Kommunikationskanal (21) zwischen den Teilsystemen (101, 102, 103) realisiert ist.

Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Teilsystem (102) ausgebildet ist, von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) bereitgestellte Winkelmesswerte über eine erste direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle (34) zu empfangen. 5. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Teilsystem (102) ausgebildet ist, der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) die für den Betrieb benötigte Energie bereitzustellen, insbesondere über die erste direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle (34).
6. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Teilsystem (101) ausgebildet ist, von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit (15) bereitgestellte Positionsmesswerte über eine zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle (35) zu empfangen.
7. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Teilsystem (101) ausgebildet ist, der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit (15) die für den Betrieb benötigte Energie bereitzustellen, insbesondere über die zweite direkte Kommunikationsschnittstelle (35).
8. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) für einen Betrieb in einem Kraftfahrzeug in unterschiedlichen Betriebsmodi (BMI, BM2, BM3) ausgebildet ist, wobei das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) in einem ersten Betriebsmodus (BMI) für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichtet ist, das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) in einem zweiten Betriebsmodus (BM2) für einen Betrieb bei einem Ausfall des ersten Teilsystems (101) eingerichtet ist, und das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) in einem dritten Betriebsmodus (BM3) für einen Betrieb bei einem Ausfall des zweiten Teilsystems (102) ausgebildet ist.
9. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) für einen Betrieb gemäß einem Verfahren nach einem der nachstehenden Ansprüche ausgebildet ist.
10. Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystem (1) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) redundant ausgebildet ist.
11. Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Steer-by-Wire-Lenksystems (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10 in einem Kraftfahrzeug, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem ersten für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichteten Betriebsmodus (BMI) das zweite Teilsystem (102) einen von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) bereitgestellten Winkelmesswert erfasst, das zweite Teilsystem (102) den erfassten Winkelmesswert in eine entsprechende Winkelinformation
(31) umwandelt, und das zweite Teilsystem (102) die Winkelinformation (31) über die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) dem ersten Teilsystem (101) bereitstellt.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Teilsystem (101) die über die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) bereitgestellte Winkelinformation (31) erfasst und aus dieser Winkelinformation (31) und einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit (4) erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle (2) einen absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel bestimmt.
13. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11 oder Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem ersten für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb eingerichteten Betriebsmodus (BMI) das erste Teilsystem (101) einen von der Absolutpositionssensoreinheit (15) bereitgestellten Positionsmesswert erfasst, das erste Teilsystem (101) den erfassten Positionsmesswert in eine entsprechende Positionsinformation (32) bezüglich einer Position des Koppelelementes (12) umwandelt, und das erste Teilsystem (101) die Positionsinformation
(32) über die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) dem zweiten Teilsystem (102) bereitstellt.
14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Teilsystem (102) die über die Kommunikationsverbindung (20) bereitgestellte Positionsinformation (32) erfasst und aus dieser Positionsinformation (32) und einer mittels der Relativpositionssensoreinheit (16) erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes (12) eine absolute Koppelelementposition bestimmt.
15. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 13 oder 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem dritten Betriebsmodus (BM3), in dem wegen eines Fehlers in dem zweiten Teilsystem (102) das Kraftfahrzeug mittels eines Backup-Lenksystems (200) gelenkt wird, das erste Teilsystem (101) einen absoluten Winkel (33) der Lenkwelle (2) basierend auf einem mittels der Relativwinkelsensoreinheit (4) erfassten relativen Winkel der Lenkwelle (2) und einem zuvor bestimmten absoluten Lenkwellenwinkel bestimmt, dieser bestimmte absolute Winkel (33) der Lenkwelle (2) zusammen mit der umgewandelten Positionsinformation (32) dem dritten Teilsystem (103) bereitgestellt wird, wobei die Schnittstelle (19) des dritten Teilsystems (103) den bestimmten absoluten Winkel (33) und die Positionsinformation (32) an das Backup-Lenksystem (200) weiterleitet.
16. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem zweiten Betriebsmodus (BM2), in dem wegen eines Fehlers in dem ersten Teilsystem (101) das erste Teilsystem (101) keine Positionsinformation (32) bereitstellen kann, das zweite Teilsystem (102) die absolute Koppelelementposition basierend auf einer mittels der Relativpositionssensoreinheit (16) erfassten relativen Position des Koppelelementes und einer zuvor bestimmten absoluten Koppelelementposition bestimmt, wobei eine Information bezüglich eines absoluten Winkels der Lenkwelle (2) direkt von der Absolutwinkelsensoreinheit (7) erfasst wird.
