Abstract
Die vorliegende Patentanmeldung betrifft neue Palladiumkomplexe, Verfahren zu deren Herstellung und ihre Verwendung.
Description
Metallorganische Verbindungen, deren Herstellung und Verwendung
Einleitung
Zahlreiche metallorganische Verbindungen, insbesondere Palladiumverbindungen, sind als Katalysatoren in der chemischen Synthese bekannt. Zahlreiche palladium- katalysierte Reaktionen, wie Heck- und Stille-Reaktion, Hartwig-Buchwald-Reak- tion, Negishi-Kupplung, Suzuki-Kupplung und Sonogashira-Kupplung sind in der präparativen organischen Chemie etabliert.
Gleichwohl herrscht ein steter Bedarf an neuen Katalysatoren, die spezielle Anfor- derungen abdecken oder neue Eigenschaften aufweisen, um die Palette der prä- parativen Chemie zu erweitern und zu ergänzen.
WO 2017/093427 zeigt beispielsweise ein palladiumkatalysiertes, selektives Ary- lierungsverfahren.
WO 2019/030304 zeigt die Verwendung neuartiger Liganden zur Herstellung von Metallkomplexen und deren Verwendung in der metallorganischen Katalyse.
Es wurde nun überraschend gefunden, dass derartige Liganden neue, bislang un- bekannte und katalytisch aktive Palladiumkomplexe bilden können.
Kurze Beschreibung der Erfindung
1. Eine Verbindung der Formel I oder II
wobei X für Halogen steht, R1 für Alkyl, Perfluoralkyl, Aryl oder Cycloalkyl, jeweils substituiert oder unsubstituiert, Cyano, Sulfonyl -SO2-R10 mit R10= C1-C5 Alkyl, C5-C6 Cycloalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl oder C1 bis C4 Perfluoralkyl, Silyl - Si(R20R30R40) mit R20, R30 und R40, die jeweils unabhängig voneinan- der für C1-C6-Alkyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substitu- iert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen,
R2 für Alkyl oder Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl und Aryl steht,
R3 für Alkyl, Cycloalkyl und Aryl steht. 2. Eine Verbindung nach Punkt 1, wobei X für Chlor, Brom, lod oder deren Kombinationen steht. 3. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R1 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl, Cyano, Sulfonyl -SO2-R10 mit R10= C1-C5 Alkyl, C5-C6 Cycloalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder ein- oder mehrfach substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl, C1 bis C4 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C4 Perfluoralkyl, Silyl -Si(R20R30R40) mit R20, R30 und R40, die jeweils unabhängig voneinander für C1-C6-Alkyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, je- weils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen, oder R1 für C5-C10 Aryl steht, welches ein- oder mehrfach mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Perfluoralkyl substituiert sein kann. 4. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R2 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C9 Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl oder C5-C10 Aryl steht, welche ein- oder mehrfach mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Perfluoralkyl substituiert sein können. 5. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R3 für C1-C12 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl steht, welche ein- oder mehrfach mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder substituiert sein können. 6. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R1 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, sec.- Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-
Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methyl- but-2-yl, 2-Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Triflu- ormethyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Menthyl, Phenyl, o-Toluyl, Naphtyl, o-Methoxyphenyl, o-Ethoxyphenyl, Di-(o-Methoxy)phenyl, p-Triflu- ormethylphenyl, Trimethylsilyl, Triisopropylsilyl, Tri-tert.-butylsilyl, Cyano, Methylsulfonyl, Toluylsulfonyl und Trifluormethylsulfonyl.
7. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R.2 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, sec.- Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-Pen- tyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2 yl, 2-Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Trifluorme- thyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, 1-Adamantyl, 2-Adamantyl, Phe- nyl, o-, m-, oder p-Methylphenyl, Naphthyl.
8. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R3 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, sec.- Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-Pen- tyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2 yl, 2-Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl.
9. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R2 für CI bis C9 Alkyl oder C4-C9 Cycloalkyl und R3 für CI bis C12 Alkyl oder C4-C8 Cycloalkyl steht, insbesondere wobei R2 und R3 C4-C8 Cycloal- kyl ist.
10. Eine Verbindung nach Punkt 9, wobei R.2 und R3 Cyclohexyl sind oder wobei R2 tert. -Butyl und R3 Cyclohexyl ist.
11. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei X Chlor oder Brom ist.
12. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Punkte, wo- bei R1 ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl, Phenyl, o-To- luyl und o-Methoxyphenyl.
13. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen nach einem oder mehreren der Punkte 1 bis 12 nach Formel I, wobei ein Ligand des Typs R.1-C- (P(R2)2)(P(R3)3), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie in den vorstehenden Punkten definiert sind, umgesetzt wird mit einer Palladiumverbindung des Typs PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben definiert Halogen, L ein neutraler Elektro- nendonorligand und n = 1 oder 2 ist. 14. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen nach einem oder mehreren der Punkte 1 bis 12 nach Formel II, wobei ein Ligand des Typs Rl-CH- (P(R2)2)(P(R3)3)(X), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie in den vorstehenden Punkten definiert sind, umgesetzt wird mit einer Palladiumverbindung des Typs H2PdX4, PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben definiert Halogen, L ein neut- raler Elektronendonorligand und n = 1 oder 2 ist. 15. Verfahren nach Punkt 13 oder 14, wobei die Edukte in einem Lösemittel, insbesondere einem polaren Lösemittelgemisch, insbesondere enthaltend Tetrahydrofuran, Dichlormethan, Aceton, Ethanol, Ethylacetat oder Aceto- nitril reagieren. 16. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Punkte 13 bis 15, wobei L Aceto- nitril, Dimethylsulfoxid, Dibenzylidenaceton oder 1,5-Cyclooctadien ist. 17. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Punkte 13 bis 16, wobei die Palladi- umverbindung des Typs Ln(PdX2) ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (CH3CN)2PdCl2, (COD)PdCl2 und (DBA)PdCl2. 18. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Punkte 13 bis 16, wobei eine Palla- diumverbindung des Typs PdX2 eingesetzt wird und X vorteilhaft CI oder Br ist. 19. Verfahren nach Punkt 14, wobei die Palladiumverbindung des Typs PdX2 in saurer Lösung eingesetzt wird, die insbesondere Wasser enthält. 20. Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupplungsreaktion, das die folgenden
Schritte umfasst
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemisches, das mindestens ein Substrat, einen Kupplungspartner und mindestens einen Metallkomplex nach einem der Punkte 1 bis 12 enthält; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Me- tallkomplexes oder seines Derivats, um ein Kupplungsprodukt zu bilden.
21. Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupplungsreaktion, das die folgenden
Schritte umfasst
- Bereitstellen eines Metallkomplexes nach einem Verfahren gemäß mindes- tens einem der Punkte 13 bis 19;
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemisches, das mindestens ein Substrat, einen Kupplungspartner und den Metallkomplex enthält; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Me- ta II komplexes oder seines Derivats, um ein Kupplungsprodukt zu bilden.
22. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Punkte 20 oder 21 , wobei das Sub- strat eine substituierte aromatische Verbindung ist.
23. Verfahren nach Punkt 22, wobei die substituierte aromatische Verbindung eine aromatische oder heteroaromatische Verbindung ist.
24. Verfahren nach Punkt 22 oder 23, wobei die substituierte aromatische Verbin- dung mit einer Abgangsgruppe und/oder einer ungesättigten aliphatischen Gruppe oder einer Abgangsgruppe substituiert ist.
25. Verfahren nach Punkt 24, wobei die Abgangsgruppe ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Halogen, Triflat, Tosylat, Nosylat und Mesylat, und/oder die ungesättigte aliphatische Gruppe ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Alken oder Alkin, insbesondere mit 2 bis 12, insbesondere mit 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen.
26. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergehenden Punkte, wobei der Kupplungspartner eine metallorganische Verbindung ist.
27. Verfahren nach Punkt 26, wobei die metallorganische Verbindung ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus organischen Borverbindungen, Organolithi- umverbindungen, Organozinkverbindungen, Organolithiumverbindungen und Grignardverbindungen.
28. Verfahren nach Punkt 26 oder 27, wobei die metallorganische Verbindung mindestens einen aromatischen Rest enthält.
29. Verfahren nach Punkt 26 oder 27, wobei die metallorganische Verbindung mindestens einen ungesättigten aliphatischen Rest enthält.
30. Verfahren nach Punkt 26 oder 27, wobei die metallorganische Verbindung mindestens einen gesättigten aliphatischen Rest enthält.
31. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Punkte 20 bis 30, wobei die Kupp- lungsreaktion ausgewählt werden kann aus der Gruppe bestehend aus
(i) katalytische Hydrofunktionalisierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(ii) katalytische Hydroaminierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iii) katalytische O-H-Additionsreaktionen an Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iv) katalytische Kupplungsreaktionen;
(v) katalytische Kumada-Kupplungsreaktionen, Murahashi- Kupplungsreaktionen, Negishi-Kupplungsreaktionen oder Suzuki- Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Biarylen;
(vi) katalytische Kreuzkupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere C-N- und C-O- Kupplungsreaktionen, wie der Hartwig-Buchwald-Kupplung; und/oder
(vii) katalytische Heck-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Herstellung von arylierten Olefinen, und Sonogashira-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Herstellung von arylierten und alkenylierten Alkinen.
Detaillierte Beschreibung der Erfindung

R2 für Alkyl, Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl oder Aryl
R3 für Alkyl, Cycloalkyl und Aryl steht, durch Umsetzung eines Liganden des Typs R1-C-(P(R2)2)(P(R3)3) bzw. Rl-CH- (P(R2)2)(P(R3)3)(X), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie oben definiert sind, mit einer Pal- ladiumverbindung des Typs M2PdX4, PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben defi- niert Halogen, M Wasserstoff (H) oder Natrium (Na), L ein neutraler Elektronen- donorligand und n = 1 oder 2 ist, erhalten werden können.
Diese neuen Verbindungen weisen überraschend eine katalytische Aktivität in verschiedenen Kupplungsreaktionen auf.
Als Halogen X steht insbesondere Chlor, Brom, lod oder deren Kombinationen, vorteilhaft Chlor, Brom oder deren Kombinationen.
L ist ein neutraler Elektronendonorligand. In spezifischen Ausgestaltungen ist L ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Nitrilen, Sulfoxiden, Ketonen, Dienen und Diaminen.
Als Nitrile besonders geeignet sind Verbindungen der Formel R20-CN, wie zum Beispiel Acetonitril (CH3CN).
Geeignete Sulfoxide ins Verbindungen der Formel R50-(S=0)-R60 wobei R50 und R60 jeweils unabhängig voneinander für C1-C6-Alkyl, C5-C6 Cycloalkyl oder C5- C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen, oder wobei R.50 und R60 zusammen drei bis sieben Kohlenstoffatome umfassen und mit der Sulfoxidgruppe einen vier- bis achtgliedrigen, insbesondere fünf- oder sechs- gliedrigen Ring bilden, wie zum Beispiel Dimethylsulfoxid (DMSO), Dibutylsulfoxid, Diphenylsulfoxid oder Tetrahydrothiophen-l-oxid.
Geeignete Ketone sind Verbindngen der Formel R70-(C=0)-R80, wobei R70 und R80 jeweils unabhängig voneinander für C1-C6-Alkyl, C1-C6-Alkenyl, C5-C6 Cyc- loalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl oder C7 bis C12 Aryliden, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substi- tuiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen, wie zum Beispiel Dibenzylidenaceton (DBA).
Als Diene sind im Prinzip alle Dialkene geeignet, die Palladium komplexieren, wie zum Beispiel 1,5-Cyclooctadien (COD) oder Norbornadien (NBD).
Geeignete Diamine sind generell Diamine, die Palladium komplexieren, wie zum Beispiel 1,2-Diaminocyclohexan oder N,N,N',N'-Tetramethylethylendiamin, oft auch als TMEDA bezeichnet. R1 steht für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl, Cyano, Sulfonyl -SO2-R10 mit R10 = C1-C5 Alkyl, C5-C6 Cycloalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder ein- oder mehrfach substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl, C1 bis C4 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C4 Perflu- oralkyl, Silyl -Si(R20R30R40) mit R20, R30 und R40, die jeweils unabhängig von- einander für C1-C6-Alkyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen, oder R1 für C5-C10 Aryl steht, welches mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Perfluoralkyl substituiert sein kann.
Insbesondere ist R1 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, see. -Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2-yl, 2-
Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Trifluormethyl, Cyclo- butyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Menthyl, Phenyl, o-Toluyl, Naphtyl, o-Methoxyphe- nyl, o-Ethoxyphenyl, Di-(o-Methoxy)phenyl, p-Trifluormethylphenyl, Trimethyl- silyl, Triisopropylsilyl, Tri-tert. -butylsilyl, Cyano, Methylsulfonyl, Toluylsulfonyl und Trifluormethylsulfonyl; oder
R.1 ist ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl, Phenyl, o-Toluyl und o- Methoxyphenyl.
R.2 steht für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C9 Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, wel- che mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Trifluoralkyl oder Perflu- oralkyl substituiert sein können.
Insbesondere ist R.2 ausgewählt aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, see. -Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2-yl, 2-Me- thylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Trifluormethyl, Cyclo- butyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, 1-Adamantyl, 2-Adamantyl, Phenyl, o-, m-, oder p-Methylphenyl, Naphthyl; oder
R2 ist ausgewählt aus Methyl, Isopropyl, tert. -Butyl, Phenyl und Cyclohexyl; oder
R2 ist ausgewählt aus tert. -Butyl, Isopropyl und Cyclohexyl.
R3 steht für C1-C12 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl und C5-C10 Aryl, welche mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder substituiert sein können.
Insbesondere ist R3 ausgewählt aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n-butyl, see. -Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec-Pentyl), 3-Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder /so-Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2-yl, 2-Me- thylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neopentyl), n-hexyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl; oder
R3 ist ausgewählt aus Phenyl und Cyclohexyl.
In einer spezifischen Ausgestaltung stehen R.2 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl oder C4-C9 Cycloalkyl wie z.B. 1-Adamantyl oder 2-Adamantyl und R.3 für C1 bis C12 Alkyl oder C4-C8 Cycloalkyl.
In einer weiteren Ausgestaltung stehen R.2 und R3 für C4-C9 Cycloalkyl.
In jeder dieser Ausgestaltungen kann R1 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, insbesondere C1 bis C4 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, insbesondere C1-C3 Alkyl oder C5- C6 Aryl stehen, welche mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl oder C1 bis C5 Alkoxy, insbesondere C1 bis C3 Alkyl oder C1 bis C3 Alkoxy substituiert sein können. X ist in diesen Fällen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus CI, Br, I und deren Kombinatio- nen, insbesondere CI, Br und deren Kombinationen.
In weiteren spezifischen Ausgestaltungen sind R2 und R3 Cyclohexyl oder R2 ist tert. -Butyl oder Isopropyl und R3 Cyclohexyl. In jeder dieser Ausgestaltungen kann R1 ausgewählt sein aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl, Isopropyl, Phe- nyl, o-Tolyl und o-Methoxyphenyl. X ist in diesen Fällen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus CI, Br, I und deren Kombinationen, insbesondere CI, Br und deren Kombinationen.
In einer weiteren Ausgestaltung ist R1 ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl, Isopropyl, Phenyl, o-Tolyl und o-Methoxyphenyl, R2 ausgewählt aus iso.- Propyl, tert. -Butyl, Phenyl und Cyclohexyl, R3 ausgewählt aus Phenyl und Cyclo- hexyl und X ist ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus CI, Br, I und deren Kombinationen.
Spezifische Kombinationen werden aufgeführt in den folgenden Tabellen 1 bis 7.

Die Verbindungen der Formel I können erhalten werden durch ein Verfahren, wobei ein Ligand des Typs R1-C-(P(R2)2)(P(R3)3), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie oben defi- niert sind, umgesetzt wird mit einer Palladiumverbindung des Typs PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben definiert Halogen, L ein neutraler Elektronendonorlig- and und n = 1 oder 2 ist.
Der verwendete Ligand des Typs R1-C-(P(R2)2)(P(R3)3) besitzt die Struktur der Formel III.
Formel III
Die Substituenten R1, R2 und R3 sind wie oben definiert. Insbesondere können die
Substituenten R1, R2 und R3 wie in der folgenden Tabelle 8 definiert sein.
Bei den Palladiumverbindungen des Typs PdX2 handelt es sich um die bekannten Palladiumhalogenide PdCl2, PdBr2 und Pdl2, insbesondere um Palladiumchlorid PdCI2.
Als Edukt für die Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formeln I und II ebenfalls bewährt haben sich Palladiumverbindungen des Typs Ln(PdX2), wobei L ein neut- raler Elektronendonorligand ist und n = 1 oder 2 ist. Wenn der neutrale Elektronen- donorligand ein einzähniger Ligand ist, so ist n=2, bei einem zweizähnigen Ligan- den ist n = 1.
In spezifischen Ausgestaltungen ist L ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Acetonitril (CH3CN), Dimethylsulfoxid (DMSO), Dibenzylidenaceton (DBA) und 1,5- Cyclooctadien (COD), Norbornadien (NBD)
Gut geeignet sind beispielsweise Verbindungen wie (CH3CN)2PdCl2, (COD)PdCl2 oder (DBA)PdCl2.
Zur Herstellung der Verbindung nach Formel II kann ein Ligand des Typs R.1-CH- (P(R2)2)(P(R3)3)(X) der Formel IV eingesetzt werden:
Formel IV
Dieser kann durch Säurebehandlung eines Liganden des Typs R.1-C- (P(R2)2)(P(R3)3) der Formel III erhalten werden. Hierzu wird der Ligand in einem geeigneten Lösemittel, wie z.B. Dichlormethan suspendiert und mit einer geeigne- ten Säure, wie zum Beispiel mit konzentrierter Salzsäure oder HBF4 versetzt.
Anschließend wird mit einer Palladiumverbindung umgesetzt. Bei den Palladium- verbindungen des Typs PdX2 handelt es sich um die bekannten Palladiumhalo- genide PdCl2, PdBr2 und Pdl2, insbesondere um Palladiumchlorid PdCl2.
In stark saurer, wäßriger Lösung treten diese Verbindungen meist in Form der korrespondierenden Säure H2PdX4 auf, also im Falle des Palladiumchlorids in Form der Verbindung H2PdCl4. Diese meist industriell hergestellten, sauren Lösungen enthaltend Palladiumhalogenide, insbesondere Palladiumchlorid bzw. H2PdX4 oder H2PdCl4, sind als Edukte zur Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel II gut ge- eignet. Die Zugabereihenfolge der Edukte ist bei dieser Vorgehensweise unkritisch und führt zum gleichen Produkt in vergleichbaren Reinheiten und Ausbeuten.
Bei Verwendung einer solchen sauren Lösung von PdX2, insbesondere PdCk und/oder PdBr2, kann auch der Ligand gemäß Formel III verwendet werden, ein Ligand nach Formel IV ist dann nicht erforderlich.
In einer weiteren Ausgestaltung kann eine Verbindung nach Formel II erhalten werden, indem zunächst eine Verbindung der Formel I hergestellt wird und diese anschließend durch Säurebehandlung erhalten werden. Hierzu wird der Ligand in einem geeigneten Lösemittel, wie z.B. Dichlormethan suspendiert und zum Beispiel mit konzentrierter Salzsäure versetzt.
Umgekehrt kann auch eine Verbindung der Formel II in eine Verbindung der For- mel I durch Behandlung mit einer Base umgewandelt werden. Hierzu sind im All- gemeinen verschiedene Alkalimetallcarbonate, Alkalimetallalkoholate und HMDS- Basen (Hexamethylendisilazide) wie Natrium- oder Kaliumethanolat, Natrium- oder Kaliumcarbonat sowie Natrium- oder Kaliumhexamethyldisilazid (Na-HMDS bzw. K-HMDS) geeignet, in der Praxis haben sich Kalium tert.-butanolat und Nat- riumcarbonat bewährt. Die Reaktion kann in einem Lösemittel oder mechanoche- misch durchgeführt werden. Als Lösemittel können beispielsweise Alkohole wie Ethanol oder Isopropanol, Ether wie zum Beispiel Tetrahydrofuran oder auch aro- matische Lösemittel wie z.B. Toluol eingesetzt werden.
Als Edukt für die Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formeln I und II ebenfalls bewährt haben sich Palladiumverbindungen des Typs Ln(PdX2), wobei L ein neut- raler Elektronendonorligand ist und n = 1 oder 2 ist. Wenn der neutrale Elektronen- donorligand ein einzähniger Ligand ist, so ist n=2, bei einem zweizähnigen Ligan- den ist n = 1.
In spezifischen Ausgestaltungen ist L ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Acetonitril (CH3CN), Dimethylsulfoxid (DMSO), Dibenzylidenaceton (DBA) und 1,5- Cyclooctadien (COD).
Gut geeignet sind beispielsweise Verbindungen wie (CH3CN)2PdCl2, (COD)PdCl2 oder (DBA)PdCl2.
Die Reaktion des Liganden nach Formel III oder Formel IV mit einer Palladiumver- bindung zu den Verbindungen der Formeln I oder II kann bei Temperaturen von 0°C bis 100°C, insbesondere von 10°C bis 50°C, vorteilhaft von 15°C bis 30°C oder der jeweiligen Raumtemperatur durchgeführt werden. Die Reaktionszeiten betragen von 2 Stunden bis 72 Stunden, insbesondere von 2 Stunden bis 12 Stun- den oder 2 Stunden bis 8 Stunden oder 2 bis 4 Stunden.
Die Reaktion kann insbesondere in einem Lösemittel durchgeführt werden. Gut geeignet sind polare Lösemittel, meist polare, aprotische Lösemittel, obwohl in manchen Fällen auch gute Ergebnisse mit Ethanol erzielt wurden. Es kann vorteil- haft sein, mit Wasser mischbare Lösemittel auszuwählen.
Bei Verwendung einer sauren Palladiumhalogenidlösung, insbesondere saurer Pal- ladiumchloridlösung, ist ein wasserlösliches Lösemittel erforderlich.
Bewährt als geeignete Lösemittel haben sich insbesondere Tetrahydrofuran, Dich- lormethan, Aceton, Ethanol, Ethylacetat und Acetonitril.
Die oben beschriebenen Palladiumkomplexe der Formel I und Formel II können in der homogenen Katalyse eingesetzt werden, insbesondere in Kupplungsreaktio- nen, wobei die Kupplungsreaktion ausgewählt sein kann aus der Gruppe bestehend aus
(i) katalytischen Hydrofunktionalisierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(ii) katalytischen Hydroaminierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iii) katalytischen O-H-Additionsreaktionen an Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iv) katalytischen Kupplungsreaktionen;
(v) katalytischen Kumada-Kupplungsreaktionen, Murahashi-Kupplungsreaktionen, Negishi-Kupplungsreaktionen oder Suzuki-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere für die Darstellung von Biarylen;
(vi) katalytischen Kreuz-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere C-N und C-O-Kupp- lungsreaktionen; und/oder
(vii) katalytischen Heck-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Darstellung von arylierten Olefinen, und Sonogashira-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Dar- stellung von arylierten und alkenylierten Alkinen.
Ausserdem betrifft die Patentanmeldung ein Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupplungsreaktion enthaltend die Schritte
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemischs enthaltend mindestens Substrat, Kupplungspartner sowie mindestens einen der Palladiumkomplexe der For- mel I und Formel II; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Me- tallkomplexes oder seines Derivates, so dass ein Kupplungsprodukt ent- steht.
In einer anderen Ausgestaltung wird ein Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupp- lungsreaktion durchgeführt, das die folgenden Schritte umfasst
- Bereitstellen eines Metallkomplexes nach einem Verfahren wie oben be- schrieben;
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemisches, das mindestens ein Substrat, einen Kupplungspartner und den Metallkomplex enthält; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Me- tallkomplexes oder seines Derivats, um ein Kupplungsprodukt zu bilden.
Das Substrat kann eine substituierte ungesättigte oder substituiert aromatische Verbindung sein, insbesondere kann die substituierte aromatische Verbindung ein aromatische oder heteroaromatische Verbindung sein.
Diese kann unter Anderem mit einer Abgangsgruppe oder einer ungesättigten aliphatischen Gruppe oder einer Abgangsgruppe substituiert sein, wobei es sich bewährt hat, wenn die Abgangsgruppe ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Halogen, Triflat, Tosylat, Nosylat und Mesylat und/oder die ungesättigte aliphatische Gruppe ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Alken, oder Al- kin, insbesondere mit 2 bis 12, insbesondere 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen.
Der Kupplungspartner kann eine metallorganische Verbindung umfassen, die ins- besondere ausgewählt sein kann aus der Gruppe bestehend aus organischen Bor- verbindungen, organischen Lithiumverbindungen, organischen Zinkverbindungen, organischen Lithiumverbindungen und Grignardverbindungen, wobei vorteilhaft die organometallische Verbindung mindestens einen aromatischen Rest umfasst oder wobei die organometallische Verbindung mindestens einen ungesättigten aliphatischen Rest umfaßt, oder wobei die organometallische Verbindung mindes- tens einen gesättigten aliphatischen Rest umfaßt.
Ebenso ist Gegenstand der Patentanmeldung ein solches Verfahren, wobei die Kopplungsreaktion ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus
(i) katalytischen Hydrofunktionalisierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(ii) katalytischen Hydroaminierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iii) katalytischen O-H-Additionsreaktionen an Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iv) katalytischen Kupplungsreaktionen;
(v) katalytischen Kumada-Kupplungsreaktionen, Murahashi-Kupplungsreaktionen, Negishi-Kupplungsreaktionen oder Suzuki-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere für die Darstellung von Biarylen;
(vi) katalytischen Kreuz-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere C-N und C-O-Kupp- lungsreaktionen; und/oder
(vii) katalytischen Heck-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Darstellung von arylierten Olefinen, und Sonogashira-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Dar- stellung von arylierten und alkenylierten Alkinen.
Die Erfindung wird anhand der nachfolgenden Beispiele näher erläutert. Diese ste- hen exemplarisch für die Darstellung der Palladiumkomplexe, deren Herstellung und dem Einsatz in der Katalyse und sind keinesfalls als Einschränkung des Schutz- umfangs der Erfindung zu verstehen.
Beispiele
Beispiel 1 : Isolierung von keYPhos-PdCl2
Unter Schutzgas, wurden keYPhos (1.00 g, 1.98 mmol, 1.05 äq.) und Pd(CH3CN)2Cl2 (0.49 g, 1.89 mmol, 1.00 äq.) in trockenem THF (30 ml) suspen- diert. Die rötliche Suspension wurde für zwei Tage unter Schutzgas bei Raum- temperatur weitergerührt. Der Feststoff wurde unter Schutzgas filtriert und drei Mal mit jeweils 10 ml THF gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum getrocknet und als gelblicher Feststoff erhalten (1.24 g, 1.81 mmol, 96 %).

Beispiel 2 : Alternative Syntheserouten von keYPhos- PdCI2
Schema 1 : Mögliche Synthesemöglichkeiten eines L-PdCI2-Komplexes.
Neben der im vorherigen Kapitel beschriebenen Isolierung, wurden ebenfalls die nachfolgenden Synthesemethoden mit PdC erfolgreich durchgeführt:
Experiment 1: 0.5 g (2.82 mmol, 1 äq.) PdCI2 werden in 20 ml trockenem Aceto- nitril suspendiert und über Nacht auf Raumtemperatur unter Schutzgas gerührt. Das Lösungsmittel wurde im Vakuum entfernt und in das Gefäß in der Glovebox
1.6 g (3.10 mmol, 1.1 äq.) keYPhos zugegeben und die Feststoffe außerhalb der Glovebox in 20 ml trockenem Tetrahydrofuran suspendiert. Die Mischung wird über Nacht gerührt und der gelbliche Feststoff wurde filtriert und 2 Mal mit je 10 ml THF gewaschen. Der Feststoff wurde im Vakuum getrocknet. Es wurden
1.7 g (2.52 mmol, 89 %) eines gelb-grünlichen Pulvers erhalten.
Experiment 2: Unter leichten Ausbeutenverlusten ist es auch möglich PdCI2 in ei- nem 1-zu-l-Lösungsmittelgemisch aus Acetonitril und THF über Nacht zu rühren.
Zusätzliche Aufreinigungsschritte sind allerdings nötig, um das Produkt sauber zu bekommen.
Experiment 3 Es ist außerdem möglich den Palladiumkomplex mechanochemisch ohne Lösungsmittelzugabe in einem Gemisch aus Ligand und PdCl2 zu erhalten.
Beispiel 3: Synthese von trYPhos·PdCl2
Unter Schutzgas wurden trYPhos (1.00 g, 2.20 mmol, 1.05 äq.) und (COD)PdCl2 (600 mg, 2.10 mmol, 1.00 äq.) in trockenem THF (25 ml) suspendiert, die Reak- tionslösung färbte sich dabei dunkelgelb. Nach dem Rühren über Nacht, wurde der Feststoff absetzen lassen und die Lösung mit einer Filterkanüle abgenom- men. Der verbleibende Feststoff wurde jeweils zwei Mal mit jeweils 25 ml THF und 25 ml Pentan gewaschen. Der Feststoff wurde im Vakuum getrocknet, um das Produkt als gelb-bräunlicher Feststoff zu erhalten (1.01 g, 1.60 mmol, 76 %). Die resultierende gelbe Suspension wurde mit einer Schutzgasfritte filtriert und zwei Mal mit jeweils 20 ml THF gewaschen. Der Feststoff wurde im Vakuum getrocknet und das Produkt als gelblicher Fest- stoff erhalten (0.9 g, 1.18 mmol, 76 %).

Nachfolgend wird die Syntheseroute ausgehend von joyPhos-PdCI2 beschrieben.
joYPhos-PdCI2 (0.2 g, 0.27 mmol, 1.0 äq.) wurde im trockenen Dichlormethan (10 ml) suspendiert und mit konzentrierter Salzsäure (0.1 ml, 37 % in Wasser, 1.35 mmol, 5.0 äq.) versetzt. Die orangene Lösung wurde über Nacht gerührt und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt. Trockenes THF (20 ml) wurde hinzu- gefügt und die Mischung für eine Stunde gerührt. Der ausgefallene Feststoff wurde über eine Sch lenk- Fritte filtriert und mit trockenem THF (10 ml) gewa- schen. Der Feststoff wurde im Vakuum getrocknet und das Produkt als gelbliches Pulver erhalten. (130 mg, 0.17 mmol, 62 %).

Beispiel 8a: ioYPhos HPdCI3: Palladiumchloridlösung vorgelegt
0,47 g Palladiumchloridlösung (20% Pd; 0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 15 mL ent- gastem Aceton vorgelegt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült.
0,50 g joYPhos (0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde zugegeben und das Gebinde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült. Nach Zugabe wurde das Reaktionsgemisch heller. Die oran- gene Suspension wurde bei Raumtemperatur für 4 Stunden gerührt. Die hell- orangene Suspension wurde filtriert und der hellgelbe Feststoff mit 10 mL Aceton gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,57 g gelbes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,73 mmol; 83 %). Analytische Da- ten entsprechen dem Produkt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.
Beispiel 8b: Ligand vorgelegt
0,50 g joYPhos (0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 15 mL entgastem Aceton vorge- legt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült. 0,47 g Palladiumchlorid- lösung (20% Pd; 0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde zugetropft und das Gebinde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült. Die orangene Suspension wurde bei Raumtemperatur für 4 Stunden gerührt. Die hellorangene Suspension wurde filtriert und der
hellgelbe Feststoff mit 10 mL Aceton gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,60 g gelbes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,77 mmol; 87%). Analytische Daten entsprechen dem Produkt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.
Beispei I 8c: Lösemittel Ethanol statt Aceton
0,47 g Palladiumchloridlösung (20% Pd; 0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 15 mL ent- gastem Ethanol vorgelegt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Ethanol nachgespült.
0,50 g joYPhos (0,88 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde zugegeben und das Gebinde mit 5 mL Ethanol nachgespült. Nach Zugabe wurde das Reaktionsgemisch heller. Die oran- gene Suspension wurde bei Raumtemperatur für 4 Stunden gerührt. Die hell- orangene Suspension wurde filtriert und der hellgelbe Feststoff mit 10 mL Etha- nol gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,61 g gelbes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,78 mmol; 89%). Analytische Daten entsprechen dem Produkt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.
Beispiel 8d: trYPhos HPdCI3: Palladiumchloridlösung vorgelegt
0,59 g Palladiumchloridlösung (20% Pd; 1,10 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 15 mL ent- gastem Aceton vorgelegt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült.
0,50 g trYPhos (1,10 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde zugegeben und das Gebinde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült. Nach Zugabe wurde das Reaktionsgemisch heller. Die oran- gerote Suspension wurde bei Raumtemperatur für 2 Stunden gerührt. Die Sus- pension wurde filtriert und der orangene Feststoff mit 10 mL Aceton gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,42 g hellrotes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,63 mmol; 57,29%). Analytische Daten entspre- chen dem Produkt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.
Beispiel 8e: Ligand vorgelegt
0,50 g trYPhos (1,10 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 10 mL entgastem Aceton vorge- legt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült. 0,59 g Palladiumchloridlö- sung (20% Pd; 1,10 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde mit 5 mL Aceton in einen Tropftrichter gefüllt und langsam zugetropft. Der Tropftrichter wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachge- spült. Nach Zugabe wurde das Reaktionsgemisch heller. Die orangerote Suspen- sion wurde bei Raumtemperatur für 2 Stunden gerührt. Die Suspension wurde fil- triert und der orangene Feststoff mit 10 mL Aceton gewaschen. Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,42 g hellrotes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,63 mmol; 57,29%). Analytische Daten entsprechen dem Pro- dukt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.
Beispiel 8f keYPhos HPdCI3: Palladiumchloridlösung vorgelegt
MIE21040:
0,59 g Palladiumchloridlösung (20% Pd; 1,10 mmol; 1,0 eq) wurde in 15 mL ent- gastem Aceton vorgelegt, das Gebinde wurde mit 5 mL Aceton nachgespült.

Das Produkt wurde im Vakuum bei 40 °C getrocknet. Es wurden 0,54 g helloran- genes, amorphes Produkt erhalten (0,75 mmol; 76%). Analytische Daten ent- sprechen dem Produkt aus der zwei Stufensynthese.

In der Glovebox wurde ein 6 ml-Gefäß mit dem Prekatalysator (0.005 mmol, 0.005 äq.) sowie Kalium- tert- Butanolat (1.5 mmol, 1.5 äq.) befüllt und mit einer Septumkappe verschlossen. Das Gefäß wurde aus der Glovebox rausgeholt und ein weiteres Gefäß mit einer Maßlösung vorbereitet. Dazu wurde 1.0 mmol (1.0 äq.) eines Haloaryls mit 1.1 mmol (1.1 äq.) eines primären oder sekundären A- mins und dem GC-Standard Tetradekan (1.0 mmol, 1.0 äq.) befüllt und mit tro- ckenem THF auf ein Volumen von 3 ml aufgefüllt. [Nur bei L-PdCl2-Komplexen: Dem Gefäß mit Prekatalysator wurde zunächst 0.61 μl (0.005 mmol, 0.005 äq.) 1,5-Cyclooctadien in 1 ml trockenem THF zugegeben und die Mischung für 5 Mi- nuten gerührt.] Die Maßlösung wurde der Katalysatormischung zugegeben und die katalytische Reaktion für 1 Stunde bei Raumtemperatur gerührt.]
Nach einer Stunde wurde die Reaktion mit einer gesättigten NaCI-Lösung ge- quentscht, ein Tropfen der organischen Phase über eine mit Kieselgel befüllte Fil- terpipette mit Ethylacetat gespült und von der Probe ein GC-FID-Spektrum auf- genommen. Das Produktsignal wurde mit Einberechnung eines Response- Faktors mit dem Standard verglichen.
Als Prekatalysatoren wurden die isolierten YPhos-PdX2 Komplexe (X = CI, Br, oder I) eingesetzt. Diese wurden mit anderen Prekatalysatoren verglichen. Hierzu wurden der jeweilige YPhos-Ligand mit Pdzdbas-dba, [Pd(allyl)CI]2, [Pd(cinnamyl)CI]2 oder [Pd(tert-butyl-indenyl)CI]2 in einem l : l-Verhältnis einge- setzt

Ergebnisse ohne Zugabe von Cyclooctadien
In unseren Experimenten haben wir herausgefunden, dass die Zugabe von 1,5-
Cyclooctadien in äquimolaren Mengen zum Prekatalysator für bessere Reaktion- sumsätze sorgt. Während bei bereits bekannten Allyl, Cinnamyl, Indenyl oder Di- benzylidenaceton-Komplexen während der Reaktion ein Dien vorliegt, liegt im
Falle von hier genannten Komplexen kein Dien innerhalb der Katalyse vor. Durch die guten Koordinierungseigenschaften von 1,5-Cyclooctadien ergeben sich bes- sere Katalyseergebnisse. Nachfolgend sind alle Ergebnisse ohne Zugabe von 1,5-
Cyclooctadien aufgelistet.
a-Arylierung von Ketonen - Allgemeine Durchführung
In der Glovebox wurde ein 6 ml-Gefäß mit dem Prekatalysator (0.01 mmol, 0.01 äq.) befüllt und mit einer Septumkappe verschlossen. Ein weiteres Gefäß wurde in der Glovebox mit Kalium-tert-Butanolat (1.5 mmol, 1.5 äq.) befüllt und beide Gefäße wurden aus der Glovebox rausgeholt. Die Base wurde zunächst in 4 ml trockenem THF gelöst, dem wurden 1.1 mmol (1.1 äq.) Cyclohexanon oder Ethylphenylketon zugegeben und die Mischung für 30 Minuten gerührt. Der Mi- schung wurde in der folgenden Reihenfolge Tetradekan (1.0 mmol, 1.0 äq.) so- wie das entsprechende Haloaryl (1.0 mmol, 1.0 äq.) zugegeben. Die Lösung wurde zum trockenen Prekatalysator im anderen Gefäß übertragen und die Kata- lysereaktion unter Rühren für 20 Stunden durchgeführt (Cyclohexanon: 60 °C, Ethylphenylketon: Raumtemperatur).
Nach einer Stunde wurde die Reaktion mit einer gesättigten NaCI-Lösung ge- quentscht, ein Tropfen der organischen Phase über eine mit Kieselgel befüllte Fil- terpipette mit Ethylacetat gespült und von der Probe ein GC-FID-Spektrum auf- genommen. Das Produktsignal wurde mit Einberechnung eines Response- Faktors mit dem Standard verglichen.

Hinweis: Eine Zugabe von 1,5-Cyclooctadien sorgte für eine Verschlechterung der Ergebnisse, daher wurde auf die Zugabe verzichtet.
Feringa-Kupplung - Allgemeine Durchführung
In der Glovebox wurde ein 6 ml-Gefäß mit dem Prekatalysator (0.03 mmol, 0.03 äq.) befüllt und mit einer Septumkappe verschlossen. Das Gefäß wurde aus der Glovebox rausgeholt und dieser ein Gemisch aus Haloaryl (1.00 mmol, 1.00 äq.), Tetradekan (1.00 mmol, 1.00 äq.) in 1 ml trockenem Toluol zugegeben. Die Or- ganolithiumverbindung (1.2 mmol, verdünnt mit trockenem Toluol auf 3.3 ml mit einer Konzentration von 0.36 M, 1.2 äq.) wurde über eine Spritzenpumpe inner- halb von einer Stunde zur Reaktionslösung zugegeben. Die schwarze Suspension wurde mit einer gesättigten NaCI-Lösung gequenscht ein Tropfen der organi- schen Phase über eine mit Kieselgel befüllte Filterpipette mit Ethylacetat gespült und von der Probe ein GC-FID-Spektrum aufgenommen. Das Produktsignal wurde mit Einberechnung eines Response- Faktors mit dem Standard verglichen.

1. Eine Verbindung der Formel I oder II

R2 steht für Alkyl oder Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl und Aryl
R3 für Alkyl, Cycloalkyl und Aryl steht.
2. Eine Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei X für Chlor, Brom, lod oder deren Kombinationen steht.
3. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R1 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl, Cyano, Sulfonyl - SO2-R10 mit R10= C1-C5 Alkyl, C5-C6 Cycloalkyl, C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl, C1 bis C4 Alkoxy
oder C1 bis C4 Perfluoralkyl, Silyl -Si(R20R30R40) mit R20, R30 und R40, die jeweils unabhängig voneinander für C1-C6-Alkyl oder C5-C10 Aryl, jeweils unsubstituiert oder substituiert mit C1 bis C4 Alkyl stehen, oder R1 für C5-C10 Aryl steht, welches ein- oder mehrfach mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Perfluoralkyl substituiert sein kann.
4. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R2 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl, Adamantyl oder C5-C10 Aryl steht, welche mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder C1 bis C5 Perfluoralkyl substituiert sein können.
5. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R3 für C1-C12 Alkyl, Adamantyl, C4-C8 Cycloalkyl und C5- C10 Aryl steht, welche mit C1 bis C5 Alkyl, C1 bis C5 Alkoxy oder sub- stituiert sein können.

Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R1 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n- butyl, see. -Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec- Pentyl), 3-Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder iso- Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2-yl, 2-Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neo- pentyl), n-hexyl, Trifluormethyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Menthyl, Phenyl, o-Toluyl, Naphtyl, o-Methoxyphenyl, o-Ethoxyphenyl, Di-(o-Methoxy)phenyl, p-Trifluormethylphenyl, Trimethylsilyl, Triisop- ropylsilyl, Tri-tert.-butylsilyl, Cyano, Methylsulfonyl, Toluylsulfonyl und Trifluormethylsulfonyl.

Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R.3 ausgewählt ist aus Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, n- butyl, see. -Butyl, tert. -Butyl, n-pentyl, n-Pentyl (Amyl), 2-Pentyl (sec- Pentyl), 3-Pentyl, 2-Methylbutyl, 3-Methylbutyl (/so-Pentyl oder iso- Amyl), 3-Methylbut-2-yl, 2-Methylbut-2-yl, 2,2-Dimethylpropyl (Neo- pentyl), n-hexyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl.
9. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R.2 für C1 bis C9 Alkyl oder C4-C8 Cycloalkyl und R.3 für C1 bis C12 Alkyl oder C4-C8 Cycloalkyl steht, insbesondere wobei R2 und R3 C4-C8 Cycloalkyl ist.
10. Eine Verbindung nach Anspruch 9, wobei R2 und R3 Cyclohexyl sind oder wobei R2 iso-Propyl oder tert. -Butyl und R3 Cyclohexyl ist.
11. Eine Verbindung nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprü- che, wobei R1 ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl, Phenyl, o-Tolyl und o-Methoxyphenyl.
12. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen nach einem oder mehre- ren der Ansprüche 1 bis 11 der Formel I, wobei ein Ligand des Typs R1-C-(P(R2)2)(P(R3)3), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie in den vorstehenden Ansprüchen definiert sind, umgesetzt wird mit einer Palladiumverbin- dung des Typs PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben definiert Halo- gen, L ein neutraler Elektronendonorligand und n = 1 oder 2 ist.
13. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen nach einem oder mehre- ren der Ansprüche 1 bis 11 der Formel II, wobei ein Ligand des Typs R1-CH-(P(R2)2)(P(R3)3)(X), wobei R1, R2 und R3 wie in den vorste- henden Ansprüchen definiert sind, umgesetzt wird mit einer Palladium- verbindung des Typs H2PdX4, PdX2 oder Ln(PdX2), wobei X wie oben
definiert Halogen, L ein neutraler Elektronendonorligand und n = 1 oder 2 ist.
14. Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupplungsreaktion, das die folgenden Schritte umfasst
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemisches, das mindestens ein Substrat, einen Kupplungspartner und einen Metallkomplex nach einem der An- sprüche 1 bis 11 enthält; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Metallkomplexes oder seines Derivats, um ein Kupplungsprodukt zu bil- den.
15. Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Kupplungsreaktion, das die folgenden Schritte umfasst
- Bereitstellen eines Metallkomplexes nach einem Verfahren gemäß min- destens einem der Ansprüche 12 bis 13;
- Bereitstellen eines Reaktionsgemisches, das mindestens ein Substrat, einen Kupplungspartner und den Metallkomplex enthält; und
- Umsetzen des Substrats mit dem Kupplungspartner in Gegenwart des Metallkomplexes oder seines Derivats, um ein Kupplungsprodukt zu bil- den.
16. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 14 bis 15, wobei die Kupplungsreaktion ausgewählt werden kann aus der Gruppe beste- hend aus
(i) katalytische Hydrofunktionalisierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(ii) katalytische Hydroaminierungsreaktionen von Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iii) katalytische O-H-Additionsreaktionen an Alkinen und Alkenen;
(iv) katalytische Kupplungsreaktionen;
(v) katalytische Kumada-Kupplungsreaktionen, Murahashi-Kupplungs- reaktionen, Negishi-Kupplungsreaktionen oder Suzuki-Kupplungsre- aktionen, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Biarylen; (vi) katalytische Kreuzkupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere C-N- und C-
O-Kupplungsreaktionen; und/oder
(vii) katalytische Heck-Kupplungsreaktionen, insbesondere zur Herstel- lung von arylierten Olefinen, und Sonogashira-Kupplungsreaktionen, ins- besondere zur Herstellung von arylierten und alkenylierten Alkinen.
