Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Zehenkappe (10) und eine solche selbst. Die Zehenkappe weist zumindest eine bogenförmig verlaufende Stirnwandung (12) und von dieser ausgehende die Zehen oberseitig abdeckenden Abdeckwandung (14) auf, wobei die Abdeck- und die Stirnwandung eine Grundwandstärke G und von Abschnitten der Wandungen getrennte Bereiche eine Dicke D mit 0 ≤ D < W aufweisen, wobei die Differenz zwischen dem Volumen der Zehenkappe bei auf die Grundwandstärke W ausgefüllten Bereichen und dem Volumen der Zehenkappe mit den Bereichen geringerer Dicke zwischen 5 % und 35 % beträgt und/oder die Differenz zwischen der Fläche der Zehenkappe mit ausgefüllten Bereichen und der Außenfläche der Zehenkappe ohne die Bereiche zwischen 20 % und 60 % beträgt.
