Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Anlage, welche der fortführenden Herstellung mehrfacher Nutzen zur Bildung von Einzelsignaturen oder Signaturpaketen dient, aus welchen in einer nachgeschalteten Druckweiterverarbeitungsmaschine typenspezifische Druckprodukte gefertigt werden, wobei für die Bildung dieser Mehrfach-Nutzen einer Endlosbahn zugrunde liegt, welche im ungefalzten Zustand durch anlageinterne Mittel eine komplementäre Bearbeitung nach den folgenden Kriterien erfährt: i) Bei einem 2-fach Nutzen werden die Einzelsignaturen oder die gefalzten Signaturpakete in einer stromab der ersten Längs-Luft-Falz-Station angeordneten zweiten Längs-Luft-Falz-Station nur umgelenkt; ii) Bei 3- oder 4-fach Nutzen werden die Einzelsignaturen oder die gefalzten Signaturpakete in einer stromab der ersten Längs-Luft-Falz-Station angeordneten zweiten Längs-Luft-Falz-Station zusätzlich gefalzt.The invention relates to a method for operating a system which serves for the continued production of multiple copies to form individual signatures or signature packages, from which type-specific printed products are manufactured in a downstream print processing machine, wherein the formation of these multiple copies is based on an endless web which, in the unfolded state, undergoes complementary processing by internal system means according to the following criteria: i) In the case of a 2-fold copy, the individual signatures or the folded signature packages are only diverted in a second longitudinal air folding station arranged downstream of the first longitudinal air folding station; ii) In the case of 3- or 4-fold copies, the individual signatures or the folded signature packages are additionally folded in a second longitudinal air folding station arranged downstream of the first longitudinal air folding station.
