Hilfsmittel in der Form einer Schraube (10) mit Selbstformgewinde (12) und einem Kopf (14), der an seinem Außenumfang eine Werkzeughandhabe (16) bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kopf (14) eine axiale Innengewindebohrung (18) aufweist.
Description
HILFSMITTEL ZUR BEFESTIGUNG VON GEWINDEBAUTEILEN
Die Erfindung befasst sich mit dem Problem, ein Bauteil, das ein Außengewinde auf weist, einfach und sicher in einer Bohrung zu befestigen, die kein passendes Innenge- winde hat.
Die übliche Lösung dieses Problems besteht darin, dass mit einem Gewindeschneider ein Innengewinde in die Wand der Bohrung eingeschnitten wird. Es sind auch Gewindebauteile, beispielsweise Schmiernippel bekannt, die ein soge nannte Selbstformgewinde haben. Darunter versteht man ein Außengewinde, das in Ein schraubrichtung konisch verjüngt ist und das aus einem so hartem Material besteht, dass es selbstformend in eine Bohrung eingedreht werden kann. Da jedoch zum Eindrehen eines solchen Selbstformgewindes in die Bohrung ein relativ hohes Drehmoment benö- tigt wird, andererseits jedoch die Schmiernippel mit Selbstformgewinde nur einen rela tiv flachen Sechskant als Drehhandhabe aufweisen, kommt es vor, dass das über den Sechskant übertragbare Drehmoment nicht ausreicht, das Selbstformgewinde vollstän dig in die Bohrung einzuschrauben. Aufgrund der konischen Form des Gewindes kann dann der Schmiernippel relativ leicht wieder aus der Bohrung herausgerissen werden.
Dabei wird das Innengewinde der Bohrung zumeist so stark beschädigt, dass auch ein neuer Schmiernippel in dieser Bohrung keinen ausreichenden Halt mehr hat.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine alternative Möglichkeit zur Befestigung von Schmiernippeln und anderen Gewindebauteilen zu schaffen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch ein Hilfsmittel in der Form einer Schraube mit Selbstformgewinde und einem Kopf, der an seinem Außenumfang eine Werkzeughandhabe bildet, wobei das Hilfsmittel dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass der Kopf eine axiale Innengewindebohrung aufweist.
Die Innengewindebohrung passt zu dem Außengewinde des zu befestigenden Bauteils. Somit ist es möglich, zunächst die Schraube mit ihrem Selbstformgewinde in die Boh rung einzudrehen und fest anzuziehen, so dass ein sicherer Halt der Schraube in der Bohrung gewährleistet ist, und dann das zu befestigende Bauteil, beispielsweise den Schmiernippel, in der Innengewindebohrung im Kopf der Schraube zu befestigen.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
In einer Ausführungsform hat der die Werkzeughandhabe, beispielsweise in der Form von Schlüsselflächen, bildende Kopf der Schraube, vorzugsweise ein Sechskantkopf, eine Höhe, die mindestens 60% des größten Durchmessers des Selbstformgewindes be trägt. Vorzugsweise ist die Höhe des Kopfes größer als der größte Durchmesser des Selbstformgewindes. Dadurch ist es möglich, mit einem geeigneten Schraub Werkzeug, beispielsweise einer Knarre, ein sehr hohes Drehmoment zu übertragen, so dass sicher gestellt werden kann, dass das Selbstformgewinde auch in sehr harten Materialien tief genug eingeschraubt wird.
So lässt sich das Hilfsmittel auch dazu einsetzen, eine ausgerissene Gewindebohrung so zu erneuern, dass wieder ein intaktes, zu dem Außengewinde des zu befestigenden Bau teils passendes Innengewinde geschaffen wird.
Das Selbstformgewinde und das Innengewinde der Schraube können zueinander kom plementär sein in dem Sinne, dass beide Gewinde den gleichen Durchmesser, die glei che Ganghöhe und die gleiche Steigung aufweisen, wobei jedoch das Innengewinde nicht die konische Verjüngung des Selbstformgewindes aufzuweisen braucht. In dem Fall ist es beispielsweise auch möglich, das erfindungsgemäße Hilfsmittel als eine Art Gewindefomer einzusetzen, mit dem in der Bohrung ein Gewinde geschaffen wird, in das dann ein Bauteil mit dem gleichen Selbstformgewinde, beispielsweise ein Schmiernippel, eingeschraubt werden kann.
Es sind jedoch auch Ausführungsformen denkbar, bei denen sich das Selbstformge winde und das Innengewinde in der Gewindenorm unterscheiden. Dabei kann gegebe nenfalls der Gewindeabschnitt, der das Selbstformgewinde bildet, eine größere Wanddi cke haben als der Selbstform-Gewindeabschnitt eines üblichen Schmiernippels, so dass eine größere mechanische Stabilität erreicht wird.
Je nach Ausgestaltung des Innengewindes kann das erfindungsgemäße Hilfsmittel auch dazu genutzt werden, Gewindeteile miteinander zu verbinden, die nicht-kompatible Ge windenormen haben. Beispielsweise kann ein erfindungsgemäßes Hilfsmittel mit metri schem Innengwinde dank seines Selbstformgewindes auch in eine Bohrung mit einem Zoll-Gewinde eingeschraubt werden, so dass sich dann ein Bauteil mit metrischem Au ßengewinde in einer Bohrung mit Zoll-Innengewinde befestigen lässt. Entsprechend kann auch ein Bauteil mit Zoll-Außengewinde in einer Bohrung mit metrischem Innen gewinde befestigt werden.
Im Folgenden wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.
Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine zur Hälfte aufgeschnittene Seitenansicht eines erfindungsge- mäßen Hilfsmittels;
Fig. 2 das Hilfsmittel nach Fig. 1 in der Draufsicht;
Figuren 3 und 4 verschiedene Stadien bei der Befestigung des Hilfsmittels in einer Bohrung eines Basisbauteils;
Fig. 5 einen Schmiernippel, der mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Hilfsmittel an dem Basisbauteil befestigt ist; Fig. 6 einen Schnitt durch das Basisbauteil nach Entfernen des Hilfsmit tels; und
Fig. 7 den Schmiernippel in unmittelbarem Gewindeeingriff mit dem durch das Hilfsmittel geschaffenen Innengewinde.
Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen ein Befestigungshilfsmittel in der Form einer Schraube 10 mit ei nem Selbstformgewinde 12 und einem Kopf 14. Der Kopf 14 ist ein Sechskantkopf und bildet somit an seinem äußeren Umfang sechs Schlüsselflächen 16. Außerdem weist der Kopf 14 eine axiale Innengewindebohrung 18 auf, die über einen konischen Bohrungs- abschnitt 20 in eine glatte axiale Bohrung 22 in dem Gewindeabschnitt übergeht, der das Selbstformgewinde 18 bildet.
Die Höhe des Kopfes 14 und damit auch die Höhe der Schlüsselflächen 16 ist größer als der maximale Durchmesser des Selbstformgewindes 12. Die Innengewindebohrung 18
hat im gezeigten Beispiel ein metrisches Gewinde mit dem gleichen Durchmesser, der gleichen Ganghöhe und der gleichen Steigung wie das Selbstformgewinde 12.
Fig. 3 zeigt die Schraube 10 in einem Zustand, in dem sie mit dem Ende ihres Selbst- formgewindes an die Öffnung einer Bohrung 24 in einem Basisbauteil 26 angesetzt ist. In Fig. 4 ist die Schraube 10 mit einem Hammer leicht in die Bohrung 24 eingeschlagen worden, so dass sie nicht von Hand in Position gehalten zu werden braucht. Die Schraube wird dann mit einem Schraubenschlüssel oder einer Knagge tiefer in die Boh rung 24 eingeschraubt, wobei sich das Selbstformgewinde 12 in die Wand der Bohrung einschneidet und dort ein Innengewinde schafft.
Fig. 5 zeigt die Schraube 10 im vollständig eingeschraubten Zustand. Außerdem ist in die Innengewindebohrung 18 ein Schmiernippel 28 eingeschraubt worden, der seiner seits einen flachen Sechskantkopf 30 und ein Selbstformgewinde 32 aufweist, das mit dem Selbstformgewinde der Schraube 10 formidentisch ist.
Fig. 6 zeigt die Bohrung 24 des Basisbauteils 26 mit einem konischen Innengewinde 34, das durch das Selbstformgewinde 12 in die Umfangswand der Bohrung eingeschnitten wurde und es nach Entfernen der Schraube 10 erlaubt, den Schmiernippel 28 auch direkt in die Bohrung 24 einzuschrauben, wie in Fig. 7 gezeigt ist.
Claims
1. Hilfsmittel in der Form einer Schraube (10) mit Selbstformgewinde (12) und ei- nem Kopf (14), der an seinem Außenumfang eine Werkzeughandhabe (16) bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kopf (14) eine axiale Innengewindebohrung (18) aufweist.
2. Hilfsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die Werkzeughandhabe mindestens eine Schlüsselfläche (16) aufweist.
3. Hilfsmittel nach Anspruch 2, bei der die Höhe der Schlüsselfläche (16) größer ist als der maximale Durchmesser des Selbstformgewindes (12).
4. Hilfsmittel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei dem die Höhe des Kop fes (14) und der Werkzeughandhabe (16) mehr als 60% des maximalen Durchmessers des Selbstformgewindes (12) beträgt.
5. Hilfsmittel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei dem das Selbstformge- winde (12) mit dem Gewinde der Innengewindebohrung (18) kompatibel ist.
6. Hilfsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem die Innengewindeboh rung (18) ein Normgewinde hat und der Durchmesser des Selbstformgewindes (12) ei ner Gewindenorm entspricht, die von der Gewindenorm der Innengewindebohrung (18) verschieden ist.
