Moreover, since further brackets or hangers are provided to secure the battery modules to the chassis 1, the space around this latter is not wasted since the proposed front hanger 10 can be substituted to the already known one, having substantially the same overall dimensions. If the battery modules are not present on the vehicle or only a single battery module is present, the provided fixation points 16, 17 and 23 may be used for securing other elements of the heavy vehicle to its chassis 1. It is clear that modifications can be made to the described front hanger, suspension system and vehicle comprising such front hanger, which do not extend beyond the scope of protection defined by the claims.
  • fixation points 16, 17 and 23 may comprise plates/walls/protrusions having different shapes, allowing a plurality of fixation holes according to the specific fixation way of the battery module.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de suspension d'un véhicule lourd comprenant une pièce de suspension avant (10) destinée à un véhicule lourd, une telle pièce de suspension avant (10) comprenant une partie supérieure (11'), une partie inférieure (11'') et une partie intermédiaire (11''') reliant ensemble les parties supérieure et inférieure (11', 11''). La partie supérieure (11') étant conçue pour fixer la pièce de suspension avant (10) au châssis dudit véhicule, l'une au moins de la partie supérieure (11') , de la partie intermédiaire et de la partie inférieure (11''') étant conçue pour permettre la liaison d'un élément (7', 7") d'un système de suspension (5) de véhicule, la partie supérieure (11') et la partie inférieure (11'') comprenant au moins un point de fixation (16, 17, 23) conçu pour permettre la fixation d'un module de batterie (6) du véhicule.
