Description
The invention relates to a cruise ship with several decks one above the other and with a passenger platform for multiple use, which is arranged outboard and can be moved vertically up and down and can be lowered down to the water surface with the features of the preamble of
A disadvantage of cruise ships of conventional design is the situation that the areas of the boat deck on both sides of the ship are occupied by different means of life-saving equipment, lifeboats, etc., with the result that these open spaces are not available to passengers for other general use.
The object of the invention is to find an optimal solution to this problem.
This object is achieved with a cruise ship having the features of
This solution has the advantage that the boat hull can be used by the passengers as a leisure room when it is at rest on the boat deck with its lounge area, for example as a weather-protected viewing room, reading room, lecture room, etc. This solution has the further advantage that the boat hull can be removed from the ship can be detached and used independently as a traffic boat or as a lifeboat. The area of the boat deck that is occupied is used as a resting place for the boat hull, which can also be used as a rescue device, and at the same time as a lounge area for the passengers.
The side walls projecting beyond the deck, which merge into roof structures with large viewing openings, form the living area, which can be protected against water in an emergency by closing the viewing openings. Seating groups are preferably arranged in the lounge area. In addition, emergency seating groups to be activated are provided for emergencies. Groups of seats are preferably arranged in the lounge area on the one hand and emergency seat units which can be raised out of the fuselage floor are additionally arranged in the lounge area. This means that the lounge area can be used with additional seating areas in an emergency. The emergency seat units are preferably inflatable with compressed air. The emergency seat units are thus inflated and thus move up out of the fuselage floor and are then available as seat units. In an alternative preferred embodiment, the emergency seat units can be raised mechanically. This can be done, for example, via a scissor lift. Alternatively, the emergency seat units can also be raised hydraulically.
Bevorzugt schließt die Zutrittsrampe an eine Stirnseite des Bootskörpers an.In another preferred embodiment, when the boat hull is in the resting position on the deck, the lounge area can be entered by the passengers via an access ramp or can be entered by the passengers via an access ramp. The access ramp is preferably arranged in a stationary manner on the deck of the cruise ship and is then located on the quay or pier from which the passengers board the ship. The access ramp preferably connects to a front side of the boat hull.
In a further preferred embodiment, a control station is arranged on the end face of the hull opposite the access ramp. As a result, the hull can be optimally used as a lounge area and at the same time as a lifeboat.
The hull of the boat is preferably provided with an electric drive, the batteries of which are additionally fed by photovoltaic elements arranged on the roof structures.
The hull is advantageously designed as a platform boat. This reduces the need to provide sufficient deck height when stored on the boat deck.
The "davit guided multi-purpose hull" system according to the invention can alternatively be installed at several positions on the ship, for example at the stern. It can also be arranged asymmetrically, for example only on one side of the ship or in an odd number. The size, shape and layout of the system can be adapted to the local conditions of the ship (ship size and/or space requirements) and can therefore vary. The usage concept can be adjusted, for example with a focus on seating, sun loungers, free deck space or Deck games, such as shuffleboard. The system can also be used as an outdoor terrace for water sports on the hull side of the cruise ship at the level of the water surface or, if necessary, above the water surface. It can be fixed locally with a fixing mechanism on the ship's side. A combination of the lowered hull with a side opening in the hull is also possible, so that the passengers can enter the hull via an outside terrace that has been folded out of the hull. From this position, too, the hull can be decoupled from the hull as a floating structure used by people. The lifting and lowering device for the system is designed according to the state of the art. During the lifting and lowering process, the system is kept at a distance from the ship's hull with the help of rope constructions and/or spacers. Propulsion can be provided by one or more propellers installed at the stern of the hull.
