Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé qui détecte la présence d'un type de sirène à tonalités multiples dans un signal acoustique. Le type de sirène à tonalités multiples est associé à un ou plusieurs motifs de sirène, chaque motif de sirène comprenant un certain nombre de motifs temporels à des fréquences correspondantes. Le procédé comprend le traitement d'un certain nombre de composantes de fréquence d'une représentation de domaine de fréquence du signal acoustique au cours du temps pour déterminer une pluralité correspondante de valeurs. Ce traitement comprend la détermination, pour chaque composante de fréquence, d'une valeur caractérisant une présence d'un motif temporel associé à au moins un motif de sirène. Le procédé comprend en outre le traitement des valeurs selon les motifs de sirène pour déterminer un résultat de détection indiquant si le type de sirène à tonalités multiples est présent dans le signal acoustique.
