Abstract
Description
- The invention relates to a beverage cup and saucer that allows the saucer of the product groups used with saucers and the volumes that keep the beverage to be compatible with each other for drinking action.
- The harmony between the saucer of the product groups used for drinking and the volumes that keep the beverage, is very important in the focus of the user and the producer. Because the width of the cup base and the slot width of the saucer (the part where the cup sits) must be of different sizes. For example; Even if a cup and saucer are well designed, there may be a dangerous situation for the user due to the difference between the base size and the slot size.
- The same situation imposes responsibility on the manufacturer. Therefore, the manufacturer must be sure that his product fulfills its function, and that his product will not create a dangerous situation.
- Saucers and cups are produced separately due to the necessity of production methods and skills in product alternatives offered to the user in today's market. While cups are produced by methods such as "turning press", saucers can be produced by methods such as "isostatic press". After these products are baked in the oven, they differ in their shrinkage rates due to their different volumes and sizes.
- The manufacturer has to try many times to solve the problem here. It is obvious that even millimetric differences in production cause some serious problems.
- For example, the saucer or the cup being narrower or wider than the other, the slipping of the products during transportation and the spilling of the liquid inside, and the increase in the possibility of deformations that will prevent the cup from being stable on the saucer.
- For this reason, the diameter, height and slot of each saucer must be designed separately. This creates an additional workload.
- Regarding the subject in the utility model application
TR 2014 11955 - In the mentioned application, a coaster is disclosed that prevents the liquid from sticking to the bottom of the glass in case of liquid spills as a result of the products slipping on the mats during transportation.
- Again, in the utility model application numbered
TR 2011 09726 - In the application mentioned, a structure is disclosed that prevents the contact of the liquid with the glass in case of liquid spills as a result of the products slipping on the mats during transportation.
- Again, in the patent application
TR 2019 13227 - In the aforementioned application, a coaster is disclosed, which includes a protrusion that prevents the glasses from contacting the spilled liquid by forming an elevation.
- Due to the disadvantages mentioned above, it was necessary to introduce a new beverage cup and saucer.
- Based on this position of the technique, the aim of the invention is to present a new beverage cup and saucer that eliminates the existing disadvantages.
- Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that eliminates the need for different saucers for each cup of different sizes.
- Another aim of the invention is to provide a structure that allows the profitability rate to be at the maximum level by keeping the product variety at a minimum.
- Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that reduces the workload since separate trials are not made for each cup and saucer.
- Another aim of the invention is to present a structure in which the production of cup sets is made suitable for mass production.
- Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that allows the stock cost to be reduced.
- Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that provides personalized service to the user, with more than one option, by selling separately (cup and saucer separately) in the market.
- Another aim of the invention is to provide a more reliable, quality product and customer satisfaction structure for the customer.

- In this detailed explanation, the innovation that is the subject of the invention is only explained with examples that will not have any limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject.
- The invention is a beverage cup (1) and saucer (2) that allow the saucer (2) of the product groups used as a saucer (2) for the act of drinking and the beverage cup (1) that keeps the beverage to be compatible with each other characterized in that, comprises the sitting slot (1.1) formed on the underside of the said beverage cup (1) and which ensures that the said beverage cup (1) sits on the saucer (2) and remains stable on it, sitting protuberance (2.1) that helps to grasp the beverage cup (1) by being formed at the middle of the said saucer (2) in male form, exactly opposite of the said seating slot (1.1), the ribbed cup base (1.2), which provides a safe sitting by providing resistance against any external force, thanks to the ribbed structure formed on the entire base of the said beverage cup (1), and the ribbed saucer surface (2.2) which is formed on the saucer (2) in such a way as to provide resistance by sitting on the said ribbed cup base (1.2) and in the same form as the said ribbed cup bottom (1.2).
- In Figure-1 a perspective view of the beverage cup (1) and saucer (2), which is the subject of the invention, is illustrated.
- In Figure - 2, the cross-sectional detail view of the combination of the beverage cup (1) and saucer (2), which is the subject of the invention, is illustrated.
- Beverage cup (1) and saucer (2), which is the subject of the invention, consists the main parts of; the sitting slot (1.1) formed on the underside of the said beverage cup (1) and which ensures that the said beverage cup (1) sits on the saucer (2) and remains stable on it, sitting protuberance (2.1) that helps to grasp the beverage cup (1) by being formed at the middle of the said saucer (2) in male form, exactly opposite of the said seating slot (1.1), the ribbed cup base (1.2), which provides a safe sitting by providing resistance against any external force, thanks to the ribbed structure formed on the entire base of the said beverage cup (1), and the ribbed saucer surface (2.2) which is formed on the saucer (2) in such a way as to provide resistance by sitting on the said ribbed cup base (1.2) and in the same form as the said ribbed cup bottom (1.2).
- On the floor of any beverage cup (1) subject to the invention, the ribbed cup base (1.2) fits perfectly on the ribbed saucer surface (2.2) formed in the same form on the saucer (2), which is standardized according to the diameters of the saucer (2) in the product range. This combination provides resistance against any external force.
- Beverage cups (1) of different sizes can easily sit on the standard size saucer (2) thanks to the ribbed cup base (1.2). Thus, a different saucer (2) is not needed for each beverage cup (1).
- Said ribbed cup base (1.2) is expanded in a maximum way in a minimum area, thereby increasing the contact surface with the saucer (2).
- It offers a safer usage scenario to the user during the act of carrying or drinking.
