Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method for separating a parcel of lumber obtained from a trunk into main and side goods with the aid of a separating conveyor, in which the parcel of lumber is conveyed in the longitudinal direction via a transport device on the underside and while the single or multi-stemmed main goods are supported by the transport device side boards are separated transversely to the longitudinal direction using the effect of gravity.
  • the invention also relates to a corresponding separating conveyor with a transport device on the underside and controllable, lateral Garlemen th and with a control device which is designed to open the lateral Hal teimplantation for dropping one or more sidewood boards.
  • logs are cut along their longitudinal axis by a saw device, in particular a gang saw. Since the logs differ in size, they are measured in order to determine a cut that is optimized for the shape of the log.
  • boards are created that are available as a package of sawn timber.
  • the sawn timber package comprises a single or multi-stemmed main material core and side goods, consisting of one or more side goods boards.
  • the main product is located in an inner area of the lumber package, while the side product is located on the sides of the lumber package. Since main and side goods are usually intended for un ferent purposes, they are separated after cutting and processed separately.
  • the main and side goods are separated during the longitudinal transport with the aid of a separating conveyor.
  • a separating conveyor is described in DE 202006012507 U1.
  • the main goods rests on a transport device on the underside and is transported by this in the longitudinal direction, while the side goods are attached to the by holding elements Main product is pressed.
  • the holding elements on both sides of the sawn timber package are briefly opened so that the side boards on both sides fall down.
  • Transport rollers serve as the transport device. In order to be able to adapt the transport device to main goods packages of different strengths, it must be adjustable in width. For this purpose, successive trans port rollers are designed to be displaceable to one another in the transverse direction, so that they can be arranged laterally offset to one another.
  • the maximum adjustment width that can be achieved in this way is three times the roll width, namely if, starting from the middle position in which all the rolls are in the middle, one roll is arranged on the left and one on the right of the central roll. This results in an adjustment range between a minimum of one roll width and a maximum of three roll widths. This means a restriction on the maximum and minimum log diameters that can be processed in such a system.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a method and a device for separating a package of sawn timber obtained from the trunk into main and side goods, which have no such restrictions for the adjustment range, so that logs of a larger diameter range can be processed.
  • the invention provides that the side boards located on opposite sides of the lumber package are separated in successive separating stages by opening lateral holding elements of the separating conveyor on one side in each of the successive separating stages.
  • the transport device is adjusted transversely to the conveying direction in the successive separating stages to set a respective einsei term discharge edge and the holding elements are opened on the side of the discharge edge to throw off the sides.
  • the separating conveyor according to the present invention has at least two successive separating stages in order to separate the sidewood boards located on opposite sides of the lumber package on one side each.
  • a control device is provided which is designed to open the lateral holding elements on one side in each case in the successive separating stages.
  • the transport device thus forms a one-sided discharge edge in each of the two separation stages, so that the side goods are thrown off on one side of the lumber package in the first separation stage and the side goods on the other side of the lumber package in the second separation stage.
  • the lumber package with the main goods rests on the transport device on the underside, while the side goods on both sides of the lumber package are held by lateral holding elements.
  • the part of the side goods to be thrown hangs in the first separation stage on one side beyond the transport device, so that the side end of the transport device forms a throwing edge after opening the holding elements on this side, while the other part of the side goods put on the opposite side
  • the side of the lumber package is located above the transport device on the underside.
  • the lateral holding elements on the side of the drop edge are brought into an open position.
  • the one lateral opening of the holding elements causes gravity alone or in conjunction with an additionally acting force to separate those sidewood boards which protruded beyond the dropping edge.
  • the lateral retaining elements, which are located on the other side of the sawn timber package, remain unchanged and represent the lateral boundary corresponding to the width of the remaining part of the sawn timber package.
  • the sawn timber package leaves the first separation stage and enters the second separation stage.
  • the lumber package only includes the main goods and the remaining side goods, which now protrude on the other side over the discharge edge of the transport device.
  • the lateral holding elements on the drop side of the second separation stage are opened.
  • the second part of the side product falls down on one side along the discharge edge of the second separation stage. Astonishingly, he succeeds in significantly increasing the flexibility of the separation process through a sequential one-sided side goods drop.
  • the underside transport device can have any width and the adjustment range corresponds to the total width of the transport device. In comparison to the prior art, this means that the lower limit of the adjustment range due to the design can be eliminated, so that parcels of lumber with dimensions that are smaller than the total width of the transport device can be handled reliably.
  • the transport device can be adjusted transversely to the transport direction in the separating stages and the control device is designed to set the transport device in the successive separating stages to form a unilateral drop edge and to drop the sidewalls the holding elements on the side of the Ab to open the throwing edge.
  • the width setting to adapt to different strong packs of sawn timber are thus achieved by simply adjusting the transport device transversely with respect to the lateral holding elements.
  • the transport device on the underside can be guided on rails or axes running transversely to the conveying direction, along which it can be adjusted.
  • the adjustment movement can take place via electromechanical or hydraulic actuators that can be controlled by the control unit.
  • the control unit can record information about the dimensions of the package of sawn timber and the position of the side goods within the package of sawn timber. These are known for each of the successive packages of lumber usually from the setting of the preceding sawing device. From this, an adjustment path and an adjustment position for the underside transport device can be determined as a function of each lumber package, so that its position can be adapted to the dimensions and position of the relevant lumber package.
  • the formation of a one-sided discharge edge and lateral transverse adjustment of the transport device can in particular be implemented in that the transport device is mounted on one side in each of the two separation stages on its side opposite the discharge edge. Since the shedding of the Be tenware according to the invention takes place on one side within a separation stage, the other side of the transport device can be used to attach storage components and / or drive elements for the transport device on the underside. As a result, the device can be made robust and low-maintenance.
  • the separating conveyor has a knock-off device in each of the two separation stages, which is arranged on the side of the respective discharge edge.
  • You can exert additional forces on sideboard boards if they cannot be released from the main product independently as a result of gravity.
  • the formation of the impact devices from can be particularly advantageous when logs are sawn at low temperatures and the surfaces of the main and Sideboards freeze to one another due to natural or process-related moisture.
  • An exertion of force by the knock-off device can take place both through a collision of the side product with a stationary element of the knock-off device or also through a movement of the Abtschvor direction, which can be directed in particular along the force of gravity.
  • the holding elements can be adjusted on both sides in order to adapt to different dimensions of successive parcels of wood and to open them on one side in the horizontal direction transversely to the transport direction.
  • an adjustment to the width of the Sawnwood package can be made and by opening one side, the sidewood boards can be dropped on the corresponding page, in both cases the transverse movement of the Hal teieri can be done by the same actuators.
  • the movement of the holding elements can in particular take place in a straight line, so that simple linear drives and guides can be used.
  • a straight travel movement is advantageous because the holding element can be aligned with a contact surface parallel to the side of the lumber package to be held at any time. This increases the flexibility of the separating conveyor in particular with fluctuating lumber dimensions, in that the closed position of the respective holding element can only be adjusted in a force-controlled manner.
  • a combined linear and pivoting movement is also conceivable.
  • the holding elements on the side opposite the one-sided ejection can also be laterally adjusted transversely to the transport direction in order to adjust the width for successive lumber packages on a unilateral discharge edge formed by the transport direction become.
  • the retaining elements on the side opposite the dropping point which serve as a side limit for the part of the lumber package that is not to be dropped, can also - or additionally - be adjusted laterally relative to the transport device.
  • the lateral retaining elements are used to guide the package of sawn timber along the transport direction in the correct position to the throwing edge and to hold both the main and the sidewood boards. This closed position can be maintained by means of a force control, as a result of which the reliability of the transport can be increased.
  • the lateral holding elements can, for. B. be designed as baffles, which can extend over part or the entire length of a separation stage.
  • several holding rollers are provided as lateral holding elements, which can be adjusted transversely to their axis by means of corresponding actuators.
  • the sideboards are supported with little friction by the rollers.
  • a movement of the holding rollers can be effected via the control device. This can be path-controlled or force-regulated, in order to create constant contact pressure conditions for the lumber package and to ensure the reliability of the transport and the throwing off.
  • separating conveyor In a preferred embodiment of the separating conveyor, several holding rollers of a separating stage are combined to form a holding roller group, the holding rollers being mechanically coupled to one another in such a way that they can only be adjusted together. By jointly adjusting several holding rollers, fewer actuators, guide elements and bearing components are required.

  • each of the separating stages comprises two or more holding roller groups on each side.
  • the front holding roller group can already be positioned for the following lumber package, while a holding roller group further behind it still holds and guides the previous one.
