Definitions
- the invention relates to a closure cap for closing the pouring opening of a container according to the preamble of claim 1 and a container with such a closure cap.
- closure caps which are captively held on the container and close its pouring opening.
- closure caps are also known which have two retaining straps which connect a threaded part of the closure cap with a guarantee ring of the closure cap.
- the two retaining straps can act as a hinge around which the threaded part can be folded away from the guarantee ring or from the container to be closed into an open position.
- a container closure according to the preamble of claim 1 wherein the possibility of a folding mechanism between the screw cap and the guarantee ring is realized in that the free edge of the screw cap is connected to the guarantee ring by two film hinges and a tether attached to the respective film hinge.
- a tab is formed on the free edge between the two hinges. When opened or in the open position, the tab can latch onto a thread of the external thread of the container.
- This folding solution requires a complicated and therefore expensive injection mold to produce.
- the tab is locked to an inevitably oblique thread, which means that the screw cap is unstable in the open position.
- hinged screw cap designs described above get in the way when drinking from the container.
- the user of the container needs the transfer of the screw cap into the open position to be as clear and self-explanatory as possible.
- the invention is characterized in that the guarantee ring is an open ring with a first and second ring end, with the second arm end connecting to the first ring end and the fourth arm end connecting to the second ring end and between the first and third arm ends to the free end the screw cap has a tongue. Due to the open structure of the guarantee ring, there is enough space for the tongue to be as long as possible. Due to the long tongue, the screw cap can be as far away as possible from the container neck in its open position. The tongue therefore acts as a spacer, which distances the screw cap as far as possible from the container neck in the open position. This means that the screw cap does not get in the way of the user, especially their lips and chin, when drinking from the container. This makes the container closure more user-friendly than prior art container closures, which are located much closer to the container neck in their open position.
- the length of the tongue is equal to the height of the guarantee ring. Since the tongue is formed in the free area between the ring ends, the entire height of the guarantee ring is available and the tongue can have a maximum length.
- first ring end has a first lower corner and a first upper corner and the second ring end has a second lower corner and a second upper corner, with the second arm end at the first lower corner and the second lower corner the fourth end of the arm connects. This allows them to Both holding arms are arranged obliquely, which improves their rotation in the direction of the open position.
- a first recess or recess is provided on the guarantee ring following the first ring end and a second recess or recess is provided following the second ring end. This “weakening” of the guarantee ring at its ring ends further improves the ability of the holding arms to rotate in the direction of the open position.
- the first and second lower corners are offset on the guarantee ring compared to the first and second upper corners, so that the distance between the lower corners is greater than the distance between the upper corners.
- This offset of the lower corners away from the tongue also improves the twistability of the support arms because the lower corners impede twistability much less than if they were located directly under the upper corners.
- the arms and the free edge expediently form an angle between 15 and 45 degrees and preferably between 20 and 30 degrees. In this angle range, the inclination of the holding arms between the lower corners and the tongue is optimized.
- first and second holding arms are such that the predetermined breaking webs break when the container closure that has been bounced onto the container is opened for the first time, before the arms are damaged.
- the holding arms are therefore dimensioned to be sufficiently stable so that they are not damaged when opened. At the same time, they are sufficiently flexible so as not to hinder the pivoting of the screw cap into the open position.
- the holding arms have a width which corresponds to at least 15% of the height of the guarantee ring. Due to these dimensions, the holding arms are sufficiently stable, but at the same time sufficiently flexible to enable the screw cap to rotate freely.
- a first or second web is formed between the first or second recess and the first or second ring end.
- the webs are as narrow as possible in order to further improve the rotation of the holding arms.
- the first and third arm ends are connected to the free edge and the tongue. Because part of the holding arms is connected to the tongue, the portion that is connected to the free edge connected to the screw cap can be shortened. This feature also serves to improve the rotation of the holding arms.
- the engagement means are realized in that an inwardly folded retaining band is formed from the first lower corner to the second lower corner in the circumferential direction of the guarantee ring on the peripheral edge facing away from the free edge.
- This type of engagement means for holding the guarantee ring on the container neck is widespread and therefore sophisticated.
- the first and second lower corners include an opening angle of at least 60 degrees and at most 90 degrees and preferably at least 70 and at most 80 degrees with respect to the center of the screw cap as the apex.
- This dimensioning leads to a length of the holding arms which enables the screw cap to be held stably in the open position by the holding arms pulling the end of the tongue onto the retaining ring and the underside of the tongue onto the support ring. Therefore, it is preferred if the lengths of the tongue and the first and second arms are dimensioned such that the arms are tensioned in the open position and the screw cap is held in the open position.
- the first and second arms have a width between 3 mm and 7 mm and preferably a width between 4 mm and 5 mm.
- the holding arms therefore have constant elastic properties along their length, whereby a defined length of the Holding arms can be determined, in which the screw cap can be held stably and wobble-free on the guarantee ring in its open position.
- the first and second holding arms are prestressed.
- the elastic pretension of the holding arms enables the screw cap to be unscrewed from the container neck several times and screwed back onto it and to be reliably held in the open position several times.
- the constant cross section of the holding arms along their length prevents the holding arms from being overextended in the open position, in which the elastic properties of the holding arms can be lost.
- the predetermined breaking webs are arranged at equal distances along the free edge, with the exception of the area of the holding arms and the tongue.
- the guarantee ring is therefore held sufficiently stable on the screw cap so that the closure cap can be bounced onto the container neck.
- the screw cap can be unscrewed with even force thanks to the even spacing of the predetermined breaking bars.
- an inwardly projecting inner cone e.g. in the form of a sealing cylinder or a sealing ring
- the cap can therefore act as a so-called “cone-sealer” and reliably seals the bottle neck.
- the tether has a width between 3 mm and 7 mm and preferably a width between 4 mm and 5 mm. This dimension ensures that the retaining strap does not tear off unintentionally, especially if the predetermined breaking webs are torn off.
- the closure cap is not too high and can be fitted together tightly with standardized container necks with external threads.
- the invention is also characterized in that the closure cap is designed to interact with a standardized container neck with an external thread and an annular projection.
- the closure cap can therefore be placed on standardized container necks, in particular of PET beverage bottles.
- Containers that are assembled with the closure cap according to the invention therefore do not have to be specially adapted to the closure cap.
- the closure cap is expediently made of a plastic material, preferably HDPE (high density polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene).
- the closure cap can therefore be made with standard plastic materials, from which known closure caps with a guarantee ring are also made.
- the screw cap, the guarantee ring, the first and second arms, the predetermined breaking webs and the tongue are made in one piece. This allows the closure cap to be produced in an injection mold without the need for further processing steps to form the first and second retaining straps.
- the inner cone is also preferably made in one piece together with the other parts of the closure cap.
- the guarantee ring has slots distributed over the circumference with an upper edge and a lower edge, the upper edge being formed by a circular arc-shaped section of the guarantee ring and the lower edge being formed by a wall section which is inclined inwards in the radial direction and the lower edge of each slot forms the projections, thereby providing engagement means for positive engagement with the retaining ring are formed. Since the engagement means in the form of the inwardly inclined wall sections are not fully present on the guarantee ring and there are also slots, the shape of which further reduces the use of material, the material requirement for plastic can be significantly reduced by up to 5%.
- the wall section is immovable inwards in the radial direction, whereby the guarantee ring is held on the retaining ring and can only be pulled over it when the guarantee ring is stretched along its circumference.
- the guarantee ring is held so firmly on the retaining ring by the wall sections that the predetermined breaking webs tear securely before the holder of the wall sections is overcome.
- the wall sections are flexible or movable in the radial outward direction. This allows the wall sections to be removed from the injection mold or injection molding tool with little effort. For the same reason, the application force for impacting the closure cap is significantly reduced compared to the prior art. Expansion of the guarantee ring, which can lead to permanent damage to the cap, is largely prevented during demoulding and impact.
- a further aspect of the invention relates to a container having a container body, a container neck adjoining the container body, an external thread formed on the container neck and a container closure according to the description above.
- a support ring is formed at the transition from the container neck to the container body and the free end of the tongue is supported on the retaining ring in the open position and the tongue is supported on the support ring.
- the lengths of the tongue and the first and second arms are dimensioned such that the arms are tensioned in the open position and the screw cap is held in the open position.
- the screw cap is held particularly stably in the open position.
- a container closure is shown, which is designated overall by the reference number 11.
- the closure cap 11 is captively held on a container 13, in particular on a bottle 13.
- the container 13 is in the Figures 4 , 7 and 8 indicated.
- the closure cap 11 comprises a screw cap 15, a guarantee ring 17 and a first and a second arm 19a, 19b.
- the guarantee ring 17 is shaped as an open ring and therefore has first and second ring ends 20a and 20b.
- the first and second arms 19a, 19b connect to the first and second ring ends 20a, 20b and connect the guarantee ring 17 to the screw cap 15.
- the screw cap 15 comprises a cover disk 21 and a first cylindrical jacket 23 with a free edge 25.
- An internal thread 27 is formed on the inside of the jacket 23.
- the container 13 comprises a container body 28 and a container neck 29 adjoining the container body 28.
- the container neck 29 is as a second cylindrical jacket is formed.
- An external thread 31 is formed on the container neck 29, which interacts with the internal thread 27. This allows the screw cap 15 to be screwed onto and unscrewed from the container neck 29.
- the closure cap 11 closes the pouring opening 33, which is provided within the container neck 29.
- the closure cap 11 is designed to interact with a standardized container neck 29 with external thread 31 and retaining ring 35.
- the guarantee ring 17 is held in a form-fitting manner on the container neck 13.
- a retaining ring 35 is formed on the outside of the container neck 29, which can be grasped under by projections 37 formed on the inside of the guarantee ring 17 ( Figures 9 and 10 ).
- the guarantee ring 17 can be rotated relative to the container neck 29.
- the first arm 19a has a first end 39 and a second end 41.
- the first end 39 is firmly connected to the free edge 25.
- the second end 41 is firmly connected to the guarantee ring 17 at its first ring end 20a.
- the second arm 19b has a third end 51 and a fourth end 53.
- the third end 51 is firmly connected to the free edge 25.
- the fourth end 53 is firmly connected to the guarantee ring 17 at its second ring end 20b.
- the guarantee ring 17 is held on the free edge 25 with a plurality of predetermined breaking webs 63, which break when the screw cap 15 is unscrewed from the container neck 29.
- the predetermined breaking webs 63 are preferably arranged on the guarantee ring 17 at even intervals.
- first and second arms 19a, 19b have a width between 4 mm and 5 mm, or have a width which corresponds to at least 15% of the height of the guarantee ring, so that they are sufficiently stable.
- the screw cap 15 is located according to Figures 1 to 4 in a closed position in which it is bounced or screwed onto the container neck 29.
- the first and second arms 19a, 19b are pulled upwards in the axial direction and the arms are also elastically stretchable so that the screw cap 15 can be unscrewed from the container neck 29 and folded away.
- a tongue 65 is formed between the first end 39 of the first arm 19a and the third end 51 of the second arm 19b, the length of which preferably has the height of the guarantee ring 17.
- the tongue 65 has a pull end 66. Because the guarantee ring 17 is open, there is enough space for the tongue 65 so that it has a maximum length. Due to the length of the tongue 65, the screw flap 15 can be opened particularly wide and held or fixed in this wide open position by the tongue. Due to the long tongue 65, the screw cap 15 is further spaced from the container neck 29 in the open position than if the tongue 65 were shorter. In the open position, the tongue end 66 rests on the retaining ring 35 and the tongue 65 rests on a support ring 72. The support ring 72 is formed at the transition from the container neck 29 to the container body 28.
- the first ring end 20a has a first lower corner 67 and a first upper corner 69.
- the second ring end 20b has a second lower corner 71 and a second upper corner 73.
- the second arm end 41 adjoins the first lower corner 69 and the fourth arm end 53 adjoins the second lower corner 71.
- a first recess or recess 75 is provided on the guarantee ring 17 and then a second recess or recess 77 is provided on the second ring end 20b.
- a first and second web 79,81 are formed on the guarantee ring 17 between the depressions 75, 77 and the ring ends 20a, 20b.
- the first and second lower corners 67.71 are offset on the guarantee ring compared to the first and second upper corners 69.73, so that the distance between the lower corners is greater than the distance between the upper corners.
- the holding arms 19a, 19b extend obliquely upwards from the lower corners 67, 71 to the free edge 25. They preferably form an angle 82 between 20 and 30 degrees with the free edge 25. In addition to the open ring structure, this inclined position of the holding arms contributes to the fact that the tongue 65 can be made as long as possible. It is preferred if the first and third arm ends 39,51 are connected to the free edge 25 and the tongue 65. This further improves the ability of the holding arms to rotate when pivoting the screw cap 15 into the open position.
- the first and second lower corners 67, 71 include an opening angle 85 of preferably at least 70 and at most 80 degrees with respect to the center 83 of the screw cap 15 as the apex. This size of the opening angle 85 gives the holding arms 19a, 19b an optimal length for pivoting the screw cap 15.
- the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b act as a hinge around which the screw cap 15 can be folded into the open position.
- the length of the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b is such that the tongue 65 is pulled into the lower corner in the open position, which is formed between the holding ring 35 and the container neck 29.
- the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b are preferably tensioned or elastically stretched. So that the screw cap 15 remains in the open position and does not fold back, the tongue 65 is pulled onto the retaining ring 35 and the support ring 72 by the retaining arms 19a, 19b.
- the pouring opening 33 is closed by the closure cap 11 and the closure cap 11 is in the closure position.
- the predetermined breaking webs 63 break.
- the holding arms 19a, 19b are sufficiently dimensioned so that they remain undamaged when unscrewed.
- the guarantee ring 17 rotates with the screw cap 15. During unscrewing, the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b can stand up.
- the screw cap 15 is folded into the open position after unscrewing from the container neck 29 by locking the tongue 65 on the retaining ring 35.
- the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b have a length which enables the screw cap 15 to be unscrewed from the container neck 29 and to be held in the open position.
- the length of the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b must be precisely coordinated. If the length of the holding arms is too long, the screw cap 15 is not held sufficiently tightly over the tongue 65. If the length of the holding arms is too short, the screw cap 15 snaps back from the open position and hinders the pouring of filling material from the pouring opening 33.
- the screw cap 15 In the open position, the screw cap 15 is captively held on the container 13 and is fixed to the container neck 29 in such a way that it does not protrude into the pouring opening 33 when liquid is poured out of the container 13.
- the first and the second Retaining strap 19a, 19b enable the screw cap 15 to be moved into the open position in a positively guided folding movement after it has been unscrewed from the container neck 29. Due to the positive guidance and the tongue 65, there is only one open position and not several.
- the length and cross section of the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b are preferably dimensioned such that the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b are elastically tensioned in the open position of the screw cap 15.
- the screw cap 15 is pulled onto the container neck 29 and the retaining ring 35 in the open position and is held there without wobbling.
- the elastic pretension of the first and second holding arms 19a, 19b also makes it possible for the screw cap 15 to be moved several times from the open position to the closed position and vice versa. This allows the container 13 to be opened and closed several times and the screw cap 15 is held in the open position stably and without wobbling each time after opening.
- the projections 37 can be according to the following description of the figures Figures 9 and 10 be trained.
- This embodiment of the projections 37 is the content of the Swiss patent applications with the application numbers 01467/19 and 01695/19, the priorities of which have been claimed and the contents of whose disclosures are hereby incorporated into the present patent application.
- Slots 97 are provided on the guarantee ring distributed over the circumference of the guarantee ring 17.
- the slots 97 each have an upper edge 99 and a lower edge 101.
- the upper edge 99 is formed by an arcuate section of the guarantee ring 17.
- the lower edge 101 corresponds to the free edge of a wall section 103 which is inclined inwards in the radial direction.
- the lower edge 101 Due to the inward inclination of the wall section 103, the lower edge 101 has a smaller radius than the guarantee ring 17 and can therefore strike an abutment (retaining ring 35) of the container neck 29, if the screw cap 15 is unscrewed from the container neck 29.
- the abutment is realized by the retaining ring 35, which is formed below the external thread 31 on the container neck 29.
- the lower edge 99 engages the projection or the retaining ring 35 in a form-fitting manner, as a result of which the guarantee ring 17 is reliably held on the retaining ring 35 even under high axial forces.
- Each wall section 101 has a first section 105 and two second sections 107.
- the first section 105 represents an inwardly folded jacket section and is preferably flat.
- the second sections 107 close on the inward-facing sides of the first section 105 and connect it to the guarantee ring 17.
- the second sections 107 can be curved or flat and face each other obliquely inwards.
- the lower edge 101 of the slot 97 corresponds to the free edges of the first section 105 and the second section 107 and lies in a plane 109 which is in Figure 10 is shown.
- the plane 109 is preferably oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation 110 of the container neck 29.
- guarantee ring 17 can be easily removed from the mold and can be pressed onto the container neck 29 together with the screw cap 15 with little force.
- the removal from an injection mold and the impact on the container neck 29 can take place due to the flexibility of the wall section 103 without there being any risk of the wall section 103 being damaged.
- the inclined wall sections 103 have a reduced wall thickness compared to the rest of the guarantee ring 17.
- the area of the lower edge 101 has the smallest wall thickness.
- the wall thickness of the wall section 103 increases linearly downwards starting from the lower edge 101.
- the first inclination angle 113 indicates the inclination of the first section 105 relative to the plane of the lower edge 101.
- the first angle of inclination 113 has a size between 60 and 80 degrees and preferably between 65 and 75 degrees. The bigger the first The angle of inclination 113 is, the better the stability of the wall sections 103 against vertical forces or axial tensile forces caused by unscrewing the screw cap 15. However, the first angle of inclination 113 must not be too large, otherwise the retaining ring 35 cannot be sufficiently gripped under.

- the connecting line 117 which represents the inclination of the slot 97, is a connection of the upper edge 99 with the lower edge 101 in a plane which is spanned by the axis of rotation 110 and the connecting line 117.
- the second inclination angle 115 is enclosed by the connecting line 117 and the plane 109.
- the second angle of inclination 115 has a size between 30 and 50 degrees and preferably between 35 and 45 degrees. The larger the second angle of inclination 115, the easier it is to demold the guarantee ring 17.

Description
The invention relates to a closure cap for closing the pouring opening of a container according to the preamble of claim 1 and a container with such a closure cap.
From the prior art in the field of plastic closure caps with a guarantee ring, closure caps are known which are captively held on the container and close its pouring opening. Such closure caps are also known which have two retaining straps which connect a threaded part of the closure cap with a guarantee ring of the closure cap. The two retaining straps can act as a hinge around which the threaded part can be folded away from the guarantee ring or from the container to be closed into an open position. With this solution, the handling for holding the unscrewed screw cap in the open position is not very self-explanatory. Furthermore, the holder is rather unstable when unscrewed, which means that the screw cap wobbles in the open position and makes it difficult to pour out the contents of the container.
In der
Zuletzt sind die oben beschriebenen Ausführungen von aufklappbaren Schraubkappen beim Trinken aus dem Behälter im Weg.Finally, the hinged screw cap designs described above get in the way when drinking from the container.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to propose a container closure which is as little in the way as possible when drinking from the container and whose screw cap is held firmly or wobble-free on the container in the open position. In addition, the user of the container needs the transfer of the screw cap into the open position to be as clear and self-explanatory as possible.
The solution to the problem is achieved with a container closure for closing a container through the features listed in the characterizing section of patent claim 1. Further developments and/or advantageous embodiment variants are the subject of the dependent patent claims.
The invention is characterized in that the guarantee ring is an open ring with a first and second ring end, with the second arm end connecting to the first ring end and the fourth arm end connecting to the second ring end and between the first and third arm ends to the free end the screw cap has a tongue.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the length of the tongue is equal to the height of the guarantee ring. Since the tongue is formed in the free area between the ring ends, the entire height of the guarantee ring is available and the tongue can have a maximum length.
It proves to be useful if the first ring end has a first lower corner and a first upper corner and the second ring end has a second lower corner and a second upper corner, with the second arm end at the first lower corner and the second lower corner the fourth end of the arm connects. This allows them to Both holding arms are arranged obliquely, which improves their rotation in the direction of the open position.
It proves to be advantageous if a first recess or recess is provided on the guarantee ring following the first ring end and a second recess or recess is provided following the second ring end. This “weakening” of the guarantee ring at its ring ends further improves the ability of the holding arms to rotate in the direction of the open position.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first and second lower corners are offset on the guarantee ring compared to the first and second upper corners, so that the distance between the lower corners is greater than the distance between the upper corners. This offset of the lower corners away from the tongue also improves the twistability of the support arms because the lower corners impede twistability much less than if they were located directly under the upper corners.
The arms and the free edge expediently form an angle between 15 and 45 degrees and preferably between 20 and 30 degrees. In this angle range, the inclination of the holding arms between the lower corners and the tongue is optimized.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous if the dimensions of the first and second holding arms are such that the predetermined breaking webs break when the container closure that has been bounced onto the container is opened for the first time, before the arms are damaged. The holding arms are therefore dimensioned to be sufficiently stable so that they are not damaged when opened. At the same time, they are sufficiently flexible so as not to hinder the pivoting of the screw cap into the open position.
It is also preferred if the holding arms have a width which corresponds to at least 15% of the height of the guarantee ring. Due to these dimensions, the holding arms are sufficiently stable, but at the same time sufficiently flexible to enable the screw cap to rotate freely.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a first or second web is formed between the first or second recess and the first or second ring end. The webs are as narrow as possible in order to further improve the rotation of the holding arms.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first and third arm ends are connected to the free edge and the tongue. Because part of the holding arms is connected to the tongue, the portion that is connected to the free edge connected to the screw cap can be shortened. This feature also serves to improve the rotation of the holding arms.
In one embodiment of the invention, the engagement means are realized in that an inwardly folded retaining band is formed from the first lower corner to the second lower corner in the circumferential direction of the guarantee ring on the peripheral edge facing away from the free edge. This type of engagement means for holding the guarantee ring on the container neck is widespread and therefore sophisticated.
It proves to be advantageous if the first and second lower corners include an opening angle of at least 60 degrees and at most 90 degrees and preferably at least 70 and at most 80 degrees with respect to the center of the screw cap as the apex. This dimensioning leads to a length of the holding arms which enables the screw cap to be held stably in the open position by the holding arms pulling the end of the tongue onto the retaining ring and the underside of the tongue onto the support ring. Therefore, it is preferred if the lengths of the tongue and the first and second arms are dimensioned such that the arms are tensioned in the open position and the screw cap is held in the open position.
In a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the first and second arms have a width between 3 mm and 7 mm and preferably a width between 4 mm and 5 mm. The holding arms therefore have constant elastic properties along their length, whereby a defined length of the Holding arms can be determined, in which the screw cap can be held stably and wobble-free on the guarantee ring in its open position. In the open position, the first and second holding arms are prestressed. The elastic pretension of the holding arms enables the screw cap to be unscrewed from the container neck several times and screwed back onto it and to be reliably held in the open position several times. The constant cross section of the holding arms along their length prevents the holding arms from being overextended in the open position, in which the elastic properties of the holding arms can be lost.
It is preferred if the predetermined breaking webs are arranged at equal distances along the free edge, with the exception of the area of the holding arms and the tongue. The guarantee ring is therefore held sufficiently stable on the screw cap so that the closure cap can be bounced onto the container neck. The screw cap can be unscrewed with even force thanks to the even spacing of the predetermined breaking bars.
It has proven to be useful if an inwardly projecting inner cone, e.g. in the form of a sealing cylinder or a sealing ring, is formed on the cover disk of the screw cap, which is designed to cooperate sealingly with the inner wall of the container neck in the closed position. The cap can therefore act as a so-called “cone-sealer” and reliably seals the bottle neck.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the tether has a width between 3 mm and 7 mm and preferably a width between 4 mm and 5 mm. This dimension ensures that the retaining strap does not tear off unintentionally, especially if the predetermined breaking webs are torn off. In addition, the closure cap is not too high and can be fitted together tightly with standardized container necks with external threads.
The invention is also characterized in that the closure cap is designed to interact with a standardized container neck with an external thread and an annular projection. The closure cap can therefore be placed on standardized container necks, in particular of PET beverage bottles. Containers that are assembled with the closure cap according to the invention therefore do not have to be specially adapted to the closure cap.
The closure cap is expediently made of a plastic material, preferably HDPE (high density polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene). The closure cap can therefore be made with standard plastic materials, from which known closure caps with a guarantee ring are also made.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the screw cap, the guarantee ring, the first and second arms, the predetermined breaking webs and the tongue are made in one piece. This allows the closure cap to be produced in an injection mold without the need for further processing steps to form the first and second retaining straps. The inner cone is also preferably made in one piece together with the other parts of the closure cap.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the guarantee ring has slots distributed over the circumference with an upper edge and a lower edge, the upper edge being formed by a circular arc-shaped section of the guarantee ring and the lower edge being formed by a wall section which is inclined inwards in the radial direction and the lower edge of each slot forms the projections, thereby providing engagement means for positive engagement with the retaining ring are formed. Since the engagement means in the form of the inwardly inclined wall sections are not fully present on the guarantee ring and there are also slots, the shape of which further reduces the use of material, the material requirement for plastic can be significantly reduced by up to 5%. In addition, the wall section is immovable inwards in the radial direction, whereby the guarantee ring is held on the retaining ring and can only be pulled over it when the guarantee ring is stretched along its circumference. The guarantee ring is held so firmly on the retaining ring by the wall sections that the predetermined breaking webs tear securely before the holder of the wall sections is overcome. However, the wall sections are flexible or movable in the radial outward direction.
A further aspect of the invention relates to a container having a container body, a container neck adjoining the container body, an external thread formed on the container neck and a container closure according to the description above.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a support ring is formed at the transition from the container neck to the container body and the free end of the tongue is supported on the retaining ring in the open position and the tongue is supported on the support ring. The additional contact of the tongues on the support ring in the open position makes the holder more stable as there are two support points.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the lengths of the tongue and the first and second arms are dimensioned such that the arms are tensioned in the open position and the screw cap is held in the open position. In this variant, the screw cap is held particularly stably in the open position. The effect of this embodiment has already been described above.

Following the
The first and second lower corners 67.71 are offset on the guarantee ring compared to the first and second upper corners 69.73, so that the distance between the lower corners is greater than the distance between the upper corners.
The
The first and second
When transferring the
If the
As already described above, the
In the open position, the
