Description
- The subject-matter of the invention comprises a coupling assembly for coupling the shaft of a moving blind to its housing.
- A building opening shading device comprising a winding shaft with a curtain, suspended on two lateral end faces of a box housing using at least one support piece was disclosed in the description of patent
EP2918768B1 . The aforementioned support piece is designed for longitudinal movement with respect to the winding shaft, so that it can assume an assembly position or an working position. In the assembly position of the shaft, the support piece at least partially enters it. The device also comprises a securing device for the purpose of securing the shaft against undesirable movement when it is in the working position wherein the support piece is supported on the surface of an end side of the box. The securing device comprises a stop face part of the box housing end face. The stop face is pointing to the outside of the shaft and comprises a counter stop pin protruding towards the shaft. The counter stop pin is in a securing position, where it is located at the height of the stop surface of one support piece sleeve, which prevents or at least limits the support piece from accidentally pushing into the shaft. In order to unlock the securing device, the stop face together with the counter stop pin is moved so that it is outside of the support piece sleeve stop, which may be telescopically moved to the assembly position where it is inside the shaft. - A solution comprising an assembly coupling the moving blind shaft on the moving blind housing, entailing locking the winding shaft movable sleeve with respect to an intermediate sleeve has also been disclosed. The movable sleeve comprises ridges on its circumference and a movable ring which travels along the longitudinal axis of that sleeve, and once aligned with the ridges they press flush against its outer surface allowing the movable sleeve to be pushed into the intermediate sleeve. This operation is carried out during assembly of such a winding shaft inside the shutter box, when the winding shaft has to be shortened in order to seat it on fixed plugs of pre-determined spacing.
Document FR 2 934 307 A1 claim 1. - The use of a moving blind shaft of variable length is particularly important for a flush-mounted shutter during its assembly, and particularly during maintenance works, where the assembly cavity for the box and the shaft is of a certain size limiting assembly space. The variable length of the shaft is achieved through the use of the coupling assembly according to
claim 1. - One of the problems seen in inventions disclosed to date is the unwanted and uncontrolled movement of elements comprising the flush-mounted shutter shaft, during transport for example, which can cause damage to the movable blind shutter. Introduction of an assembly coupling the shaft of a moving blind to its housing according to
claim 1 eliminates this problem by securing the movable sleeve against uncontrolled movements into and out of the inside of an intermediate sleeve seated in the moving blind shaft tube. - The essence of the invention comprises an assembly for coupling the shaft of a moving blind to its housing, made out of a movable sleeve and an intermediate sleeve which move relative to each other so that the movable sleeve is at least partially inside the intermediate sleeve and the coupling assembly is in its working position when axial movement of the movable sleeve inside the intermediate sleeve is locked and in an assembly position, when axial movement of the movable sleeve inside the intermediate sleeve is unlocked, wherein a ring is seated on the movable sleeve with at least one arm locking axial movement of the movable sleeve inside the intermediate sleeve in the working position of the coupling assembly where the ring arm is resting on the stop face of the intermediate sleeve and the intermediate sleeve has at least one longitudinal notch for the ring arm, when the coupling assembly is in the assembly position, wherein transition of the assembly from one position to the other takes place by revolving the ring around the movable sleeve so that the free end of the ring arm either rests on the stop face or enters the longitudinal notch.
- Preferably the ring arm has one free end and one end permanently attached to the ring, so that the ring turning around the movable sleeve causes the free end of the arm to move around the movable sleeve from the working position to the assembly position.
- Preferably there are no less crosswise ridges on the outer surface of the movable sleeve than the number of ring arms, with a pilot groove for the ring arm in between them.
- Preferably the stop faces of the intermediate sleeve for the arm in the coupling assembly working position are on its outside and number no less than the number of ring arms, and the longitudinal notch for the ring arm in the assembly position of the coupling assembly is located between the stop faces.
- Preferably the free end of the ring arm has a foot.
- Preferably the foot of the free end of at least one arm has a rib designed to align in a groove.
- Preferably on the movable sleeve circumference there is a flange locking the longitudinal movement of the ring with respect to the movable sleeve.
- Preferably between the movable sleeve and the intermediate sleeve there is an elastic element in the form of a spring.
- The illustration depicts the invention, with given figures showing the following:
-
Fig. 1 exploded view of the coupling assembly, -
Fig. 2 spatial view of the intermediate sleeve, -
Fig. 3 spatial view of the movable sleeve, -
Fig. 4 spatial view of the ring and arms, -
Fig. 5 longitudinal section of the coupling assembly, -

Box 5 of flush-mounted shutter is seated in a rectangular building opening with shutter guide rails on its side walls.Rotary shaft 6 is mounted inbox 5 housing onto which the shutter blind material is wound. Shaft 6 has two holes, where one constitutes an outlet forshutter drive 7 and the other an inlet for the coupling assembly. The coupling assembly facilitates assembly ofshutter shaft 6 inbox 5 housing. The coupling assembly can assume two opposite positions: working and assembly. In the assembly position, axial movement of themovable sleeve 1 inside theintermediate sleeve 2 is unlocked, so thatmovable sleeve 1 partially entersintermediate sleeve 2 when a user wants to insert or removeshaft 6 into the box housing.Spring 4 is located between the sleeves, and, once the force causingmovable sleeve 1 to enterintermediate sleeve 2 is removed, it forcesmovable sleeve 1 to return to its starting position. Whereas the working position of the coupling assembly is achieved when axial movement ofmovable sleeve 1 inintermediate sleeve 2 is locked. Locking sleeve axial movement is achieved viaring 3 seated onmovable sleeve 1 which hasflange 13 preventingring 3 moving alongmovable sleeve 1.Ring 3 has at least onearm 31 locking the axial movement ofmovable sleeve 1 inintermediate sleeve 2, and the saidarm 31 with itsfoot 311 in the working position is resting onstop face 21 ofintermediate sleeve 2 andintermediate sleeve 2 has at leastlongitudinal notch 22 forring 3arm 31, when the coupling assembly is in the assembly position. The said stop faces 21 of the intermediate sleeve are on its outside and number no less than the number ofring 3 arms, andlongitudinal notch 22 forring 3arm 31 is located betweenstop faces 21. Transition of the coupling assembly from one position to the other takes place byring 3 revolving around the movable sleeve so that the free end ofring arm 31 rests onstop face 21 or enterslongitudinal notch 22.Ring 3 onmovable sleeve 1 assumes its position on account ofgrooves 12 betweencrosswise ridges 11 on the outer surface ofmovable sleeve 1 which number no less than the number ofring arms 31. To thatend foot 311 of the free ring arm end hasrib 312 designed to entergroove 12.
