Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a cooking device comprising a cleaning system.
- In ovens, the cooking process is performed by dissipating the heat generated by the heater into the cooking device by means of the fan. The air in the cooking device is heated by the heater and then dissipated by means of the fans. The cooking process is performed in the cooking cavity. A door prevents the cooking cavity from getting in contact with the outer environment. Thus, the temperature in the cooking cavity is increased so as to cook the foodstuffs. During the cooking process, oil particles dispersing from the foodstuffs spread on the cooking cavity and the door. Therefore, the cooking process causes the cooking device to become dirty. Performing the cleaning process after each cooking process causes user dissatisfaction, and moreover, oil accumulates at the regions which are not accessible by the user. This adversely affects the operational functions. Today, cooking devices with automatic cleaning systems are used. The cleaning agent is loaded into the cooking device and the cleaning process is performed as a result of mixing the cleaning agent and water. However, if the cleaning agent does not mix completely with water or does not disperse homogeneously throughout the cooking cavity, the efficiency of the cleaning process decreases. Therefore, some regions in the cooking device remains dirty.
- In the state of the art Korean Patent Document No. KR101313682, a cooking device is disclosed, comprising a top plate for placing the detergent and a cleaning system for dispensing the detergent into the cooking cavity and performing the cleaning process.
- The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooking device which provides ease of use.

- The cooking device of the present invention comprises a detergent dispenser which is provided on the body and wherein the cleaning agent is placed; a lid which enables the user to access the detergent dispenser when in the open position and which interrupts the contact between the detergent dispenser and the outer environment when in the closed position; and a delivery line which provides the delivery of the cleaning agent from the detergent dispenser to the cooking cavity. The user places the cleaning agent into the detergent dispenser. The cleaning agent in the detergent dispenser dissolves in the water to be delivered to the cooking cavity through the delivery line. Thus, the cooking cavity is cleaned.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a mains inlet which delivers mains water into the delivery line, and a delivery pump which pumps the water in the delivery line to the cooking cavity and the detergent dispenser. By means of the delivery pump, the water is filled into the detergent dispenser and the cooking cavity. Thus, the cleaning agent is dissolved.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a suction pump which sucks the detergent-water mixture in the detergent dispenser and delivers the same into the delivery line. The detergent-water mixture delivered to the delivery line by means of the suction pump is distributed into the cooking cavity by means of a nozzle. Thus, the cooking cavity is enabled to be homogeneously washed.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises one or more than sensor which is provided on the detergent dispenser and a control unit which controls the water in the detergent dispenser in accordance with the data received from the sensor. By means of the sensors, the water level in the detergent dispenser is continuously monitored.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a control member which is provided on the body and a control panel whereon the control member is positioned. By means of the control member, the lid can be shifted between the open position and the closed position by the user.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a plurality of illumination means which are provided on the control panel. By means of the illumination means, the user is informed about the amount of water remaining in the detergent dispenser and the cooking cavity.
- By means of the present invention, a cooking device wherein an efficient cleaning process is performed is realized. By adding the cleaning agent into the detergent dispenser, the cleaning agent is sprayed into the cooking cavity after being dissolved. Thus, every region in the cooking cavity is enabled to be homogeneously cleaned.
