Definitions

  • the subject of the invention is a prefabricated mounting floor or wall panel intended for installation in closed rooms, in particular in sanitary rooms, e.g. bathrooms.
  • the invention also relates to a system comprising a plurality of prefabricated finish mounting panels intended for use in finishing of these rooms.
  • the basic technology for lining walls and floors with ceramic tiles in closed facilities i.e. in residential and commercial buildings with all walls, ceilings and floors at the time of commencement of works, is their laying on technological layers directly on the premises of the facility.
  • the wall and / or floor cladding consists of the following layers: plaster or screed as the initial layer, waterproofing layer, tile adhesive layer, proper tiles, grouts between the tiles.
  • the individual layers are applied manually, similar to the processing of ceramic tiles, e.g. cutting, priming. Even in the case of simple solutions, the involvement of specialists in the field of plaster and / or plasterboard and tilers is required.
  • Each of the above layers depending on the detailed material, needs a time unit specified by the manufacturer in order to obtain full functional properties. It ranges from a few hours to several days, so the entire process from the base layer to the final finish may take up to 1 month. A long period of finishing works is a significant inconvenience of the construction or renovation process. Another inconvenience is the large amount of waste that has to be removed from the assembly site, as well as noise and dust resulting from cutting the materials.
  • US2020141128A1 discloses A method and kit for renovating and reconstructing wet rooms, wherein panel modules are attached to a wall, floor, and/or ceiling of the wet room, by providing panel modules having a water-impermeable coating or core and a water-resistant sealing strip section to form an outer contour of the panel module and applying a water resistant sealing adhesive to the sealing strip section such that the sealing adhesive continuously underlays edge regions of two adjacent panel modules.
  • the panel modules can have a multilayer construction in that the panel module is based on a building panel and has a fiber-reinforced top layer embedded in mortar, a multilayer panel module can be provided with a wearing layer by means of an adhesive layer.
  • Such panel modules can be industrially prefabricated and will be designated in the following as prefabricated panel modules. The method expedites the process of renovation in applying new decoration layers, but does not solve the problem, when panels should be replaced. Than removing these panels still requires a lot of effort, time and produces wastes and dirt.
  • EP0009009A2 discloses prefabricated panel, designed to be easily mounted in the factory or in the yard, for composing tridimensional elements, such as bathrooms and/or kitchens, or any other flat room.
  • the panel is composed with a frame filled with cement mixture.
  • the panels may be welded or joint using other connecting means, such as bolts, nails, rivets or gluing. This panel system has the same drawback as with the system described above.
  • US3646180A discloses wall panel construction which is particularly suitable for modular building constructions employing pre-fabricated building panels.
  • the panel may be integrated with adjacent modular wall panelling
  • the panel has a central core of foam plastic with a front facing of ceramic tiles.
