Description

The invention relates to a profile for cabinet furniture. The invention further relates to a corpus furniture arrangement with at least one corpus piece of furniture, comprising wall elements and at least one front element mounted on a wall element, the front element being movable between an open and a closed position, the interior of the corpus piece of furniture being accessible in the open position, the Front element covers the interior of the cabinet furniture in the closed position, wherein the front element is associated with the wall elements in the closed position, wherein a profile is arranged between at least one wall element and the front element.

Such a carcass furniture arrangement is, for example, from WO 2019/197092 A1 known, the arrangement described there being used in particular in kitchen construction. A carcass furniture arrangement for a kitchen comprises, for example, a plurality of carcass furniture arranged next to one another. The wall elements of the carcass furniture form side walls, a top area and a base area. Furthermore, the corpus furniture is provided with a rear wall.

A front element that is movably mounted on a wall element enables access to the interior of the carcass furniture. The front element can be equipped with handles for moving, for example for pivoting or pulling out. However, it is also known from the above-mentioned prior art to arrange a profile in the carcass furniture in such a way that an edge area of the front element is exposed, so that the edge area can be gripped behind for pivoting the front element.

The profile can be provided with lighting for better visibility of the intervention area. In the case of the profile known from the prior art, the lighting takes place indirectly by means of an illuminant arranged in the interior of the profile.

The object of the invention is to provide a profile for carcass furniture that can be produced easily and inexpensively.

This object is solved with the features of claims 1 and 12. The claims referring back thereto refer to advantageous configurations.

The profile according to the invention for cabinet furniture comprises a first leg, a second leg and a chamber, with the first leg and the second leg each having a cover section, with the cover sections delimiting the chamber by forming a slot, with at least one leg having a panel section with a visible surface forms, wherein the chamber is assigned at least one lamp.

The illuminant illuminates the interior of the chamber, with light being emitted through the slit and thereby impinging on the first leg and the second leg. If the profile is mounted in the cabinet furniture arrangement, this results in an illumination of the operating section or the space enclosed between the legs and the front element. The profile with legs and chamber is made of the same material and is made in one piece and can therefore be produced particularly easily and inexpensively.

The chamber preferably has a first side wall, a second side wall and a rear wall, the first side wall being associated with the first leg and the second side wall being associated with the second leg, and the rear wall defining the chamber on the side opposite the first leg and the second leg . Viewed in cross-section, the chamber can be designed to be essentially rectangular. Preferably the both side walls shorter than the rear wall. The slot is preferably located centrally.

The light source is preferably assigned to a side wall. As a result, the illuminant first illuminates the interior of the chamber and part of the radiation leaves the chamber directly via the slit. A large part of the radiation is reflected inside the chamber and only then leaves the chamber through the slit. The multiple reflection results in a pleasant light impression.

Light-emitting devices can be assigned to both side walls. A first light-emitting device can be a light source and a second light-emitting device can be a reflector. The reflector improves the light yield. However, it is also conceivable that a lamp is assigned to each of the two side walls.

A receiving groove can be assigned to the rear wall, which receives a flat profile. Depending on the configuration of the slot, it is possible for the rear wall of the chamber to be visible. The flat profile makes it possible to effect an optical design of the rear wall with simple means. In particular, it can be avoided that the interior of the chamber has to be provided with an application of paint. Accordingly, the flat profile can be colored depending on the configuration of the profile. But it is also conceivable that the flat profile is designed as a reflector. Depending on the requirements of the lighting situation, it is also conceivable that the flat profile is designed as a light source. The receiving groove can include projections arranged on both side walls. These form an undercut into which the flat profile can be inserted in a form-fitting manner.

The first leg and the second leg are preferably arranged at an angle to one another. The first leg and the second leg can enclose an angle between 100° and 140°, preferably between 115° and 125°. The angled arrangement makes it possible for the light emitted through the slit to fall on the legs, so that they are illuminated.

According to a first embodiment, one leg only delimits the chamber by means of the cover section. In this embodiment, the profile is essentially L-shaped. This profile is particularly suitable for the sides of corpus furniture, which are immobile and consequently not covered by a movable front element. In this configuration, one limb delimits the chamber by means of the cover section, whereas a cover section and a screen section with a visible surface are formed from the other limb.

According to a second embodiment, a panel section with a visible surface is formed from the first leg and the second leg. Such a profile is essentially C-shaped. Such a profile is preferably suitable for arrangements of cabinet furniture in which a front element can come into contact with each of the two legs. This is the case, for example, between two mutually adjoining cabinet units, each of which is provided with a front element.

To form support sections, the side walls of the chamber can extend beyond the rear wall, starting from the first leg and the second leg. The support sections preferably extend at right angles to the rear wall. The profile can come into contact with elements of the cabinet furniture in a defined manner via the support sections.

A fastening web can be formed from the rear wall of the chamber on the side facing away from the chamber. The profile can be captively connected to elements of the carcass furniture via the fastening bar. The fastening web can extend at right angles to the rear wall and be profiled at least in sections. Such a fastening bar is also referred to as a harpoon bar. It has turned out to be advantageous if the fastening web is formed eccentrically from the rear wall.

The first leg and the second leg can be profiled in the area of the slot on the side assigned to the chamber. As a result, the lighting means or the light-emitting devices can be accommodated in a form-fitting manner and fixed in the chamber.

Connection profiles can be assigned to the free ends of the first leg and second leg facing away from the chamber. In this case, the extension of the leg and the connection profile is preferably such that the connection profile is aligned with the wall element of the cabinet furniture on which the profile is arranged.

A filling profile can be assigned to at least one connection profile. The filling profile simplifies the attachment of built-in devices.

The profile is preferably made of a metallic material, for example aluminum or stainless steel. Furthermore, the profile is preferably designed as an extrusion profile.
