Description

The invention relates to a device for storing smoking products in the sense of a container for holding at least one smoking product. Smoking products include, for example, tobacco products such as cigarettes and cigars or joints with which products other than tobacco are mixed with tobacco or consumed pure.

From the RU 2 601 870 C2 A device for storing smoking products is already known, which has a cover and a receiving space enclosed by the cover. The recording space can be closed with a lid. Using an inlay, the smoking product can be clamped in place in the receiving space.

Similar devices are also used in the US 2017/325501 A1 as well as the US 2005/236005 A1 described.

Hand-rolled cigarettes or joints are delicate items that can easily be damaged or lose their flavor if improperly stored or transported before consumption.

One object of the invention is therefore to protect at least one smoking product from external influences.

To solve this problem, the invention provides for the use of a device for storing smoking products according to claim 1.

Furthermore, there are smoking products with different diameters, be it due to the product type in standardized and/or industrially manufactured tobacco products (cigarettes/cigars) or due to fluctuations in the manual production of smoking products by rolling tobacco leaves or cigarette papers.

Manually manufactured smoking products often do not have a cylindrical shape, but rather a conical shape, so that smoking products stored in a hollow cylindrical or tube-like device for storing smoking products can be moved in such a way that damage to the smoking products can occur.

A further object of the invention is therefore to provide a device for storing smoking products, which enables safe storage of at least one smoking product for different sizes of the at least one smoking product.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a device for storing smoking products according to claims 7 to 8.

The features of a device for storing smoking products disclosed below are part of the invention both individually and in all possible combinations.

The invention has at least one receiving space for receiving at least one smoking product, which is surrounded by a cover.

The casing is advantageously designed to be shockproof and has an inherent rigidity that counteracts bending of the casing.

In preferred embodiments of the invention, the shell is made of a metal, such as steel or aluminum, or of a hard plastic, such as polycarbonate, possibly with reinforcement through integrated fibers (GRP, CFRP).

In one embodiment of the invention, the casing has a hollow cylindrical or tube-like basic shape with closed ends.

To accommodate the at least one smoking item in the receiving space or to remove the at least one smoking item from the receiving space, the cover of the device for storing smoking items can be opened.

For this purpose, the cover is made up of at least two parts that can be detachably connected to one another.

According to the invention, the device for storing smoking products has a casing divided into a body and a lid, the body being closable using the lid. The essential part of the receiving space lies within the body, although in embodiments of the invention a part of the receiving space can also be arranged in the lid.

In advantageous embodiments of the invention, the lid and the body of the casing can be releasably connected to one another using a connecting device.

Such a connecting device can be realized, for example, by a screw lock realized using corresponding threads on the lid and the body or a bayonet lock, or by a plug-in lock.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the connection between the cover and the body of the casing is additionally sealed with a sealing element, so that an exchange of air between the receiving space and the environment is avoided. For example, the sealing element is designed as a sealing ring arranged in the area of the connection between the cover and the body of the casing.

In the at least one receiving space of a device according to the invention for storing smoking products, at least one inlay is arranged to fix the at least one smoking product.

The at least one inlay is advantageously arranged within the casing at least in a closed state of the device.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the external shape and size of at least one inlay are designed such that the inlay is fixed in a clamping manner in the case in an assembled device for storing smoking products.

In one embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay is at least partially made of a flexible or elastic material, such as silicone.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay is made entirely of a flexible or elastic material, such as silicone.

At least one inlay has an interior into which at least one smoking product can be inserted, at least in some areas.

In a preferred embodiment, at least one smoking product can be inserted with one end into the interior of an inlay.

The at least one smoking product can be inserted into the interior of this inlay through an open end of an inlay.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay has a thimble-like basic shape. The inlay has an open end, an inlay wall delimiting the inlay in the radial direction and an upper end delimiting the interior of the inlay.

In other embodiments of the invention, the inlay is tubular, open at both ends and limited only by a radially circumferential inlay wall extending in the axial direction.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay is inserted into or arranged in the lid of the device for storing smoking products.

As a rule, smoking products have a mouthpiece at one end, for example in the form of a filter or a tip, while the other end of the smoking product is open or closed with the help of cigarette paper. The end with the mouthpiece is usually the more stable or firm end of the smoking product.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay is designed to accommodate the end having the mouthpiece of at least one smoking product.

In one embodiment of the invention, at least one inlay is designed to accommodate the smoking product in the axial direction.

To fix the at least one smoking item, at least one inlay of a device according to the invention for storing smoking items points into the interior of the Inlays project clamping elements with which an end of a smoking product inserted into the inlay can be fixed in a clamping manner.

The use of at least three clamping elements protruding into the interior of an inlay enables a smoking product to be securely fixed in the area of the end inserted into the inlay in the radial direction (transverse to the axial direction of the smoking product) and in the axial direction.

In preferred embodiments of the invention, the clamping elements of at least one inlay extend from the inlay wall and/or the upper end of the at least one inlay into the interior of the respective inlay.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the clamping elements of at least one inlay are arranged uniformly in the circumferential direction of the inlay.

For an inlay with three clamping elements, these are therefore preferably arranged in the angular positions of 120°, 240° and 360° or 0° in the circumferential direction.

For an inlay with five clamping elements, these are preferably arranged in the angular positions of 72°, 144°, 216°, 288° and 360° or 0°.

These preferred angular positions apply accordingly for other numbers of clamping elements.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, at least one inlay is designed to hold smoking products with different diameters.

For this purpose, at least some of the clamping elements projecting into the interior of the at least one inlay are designed in embodiments of the invention in such a way that they protrude further into the interior of the inlay in the direction of the upper end of the inlay than in the area of the open end of the inlay (axial extent of the inlay). Smoking products with a smaller diameter can therefore be inserted deeper into the inlay in the axial direction before they are contacted by the clamping elements in the radial direction and fixed in a clamping manner overall, than smoking products with a larger diameter, which are already contacted and fixed by the clamping elements at a smaller insertion depth become.

In embodiments of the invention, at least some of the clamping elements, viewed in a cross section of the inlay, extend essentially only in the radial direction, apart from their width.

In other embodiments, at least some of the clamping elements have, in addition to their radial and axial extent, a curvature or curvature and/or inclination in the circumferential direction of the inlay. Depending on the (local) diameter of the smoking item, a corresponding displacement of the elastic clamping elements takes place in the circumferential direction of the inlay, whereby a clamping effect adapted to the local diameter of the smoking item is realized.

In embodiments of the invention, the clamping elements are connected to the inlay wall at a constant angular position in the axial direction of at least one inlay, while in other embodiments of the invention the angular position of the connection point between the clamping element and the inlay wall changes in the axial direction of the inlay, so that it is helical in the axial direction are twisted.

In embodiments of the invention, the clamping elements of at least one inlay have a curvature or curvature and/or inclination in the circumferential direction and a depth of protrusion of the clamping elements into the interior of the inlay that increases in the axial direction from the open end to the upper end of the inlay.

Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a device according to the invention for storing smoking products (1). Claims (8)

1. Device (1) for storing smoking products, having a case and at least one receiving space (9) for at least one smoking product (10), the receiving space being enclosed by the case, wherein the case has a basic structure (2) and a lid (3), to which the basic structure (2) can be connected in a releasable manner, so that the at least one receiving space (9) can be opened in order for the smoking product (10) to be introduced or removed and can be closed in order for the smoking product (10) to be reliably stored in the device (1), and wherein use is made of at least one inlay (8), into which the at least one smoking product (10) can be introduced at least in part, so that the at least one smoking product (10) can be fixed with clamping action in the, or in a, receiving space (9) of the device (1) with the aid of the at least one inlay (8), wherein at least one inlay (8) has a plurality of clamping elements (8f), between which at least certain regions of at least one smoking product (10) can be fixed with clamping action, characterized in that at least part of the clamping elements (8f) of at least one inlay (8) projects into the interior space (8g) of the inlay (8) to a greater extent as the distance from the open end of the inlay (8) increases, so that the diameter of the space located between the clamping elements (8f) decreases to an increasing extent as the distance from the open end of the inlay (8) increases.

3. Device (1) for storing smoking products according to either of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one inlay (8) has a thimble-like basic shape with an open end, a closed end and an inlay wall (8b), which connects the ends to one another.

Device (1) for storing smoking products according to either of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that at least one inlay (8) has an interior space (8g) which is delimited with the aid of an inlay wall (8b) and at an upper end (8c) and into which the clamping elements (8f) of this inlay (8) project, wherein at least one smoking product (10) can be introduced at least in part into the interior space (8g) of the inlay (8) via an open end of the inlay (8).

Device (1) for storing smoking products according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping elements (8f) of at least one inlay (8) are realized by channels (8d) in the inlay wall (8b) of this inlay (8), wherein the channels (8d) or the clamping elements (8f) are realized in the inward direction by local deformations of the inlay wall (8b).
7. Device (1) for storing smoking products according to Claim 1, characterized in that the clamping elements (8f) of at least one inlay (8) are designed in the form of lamellae.
8. Device (1) for storing smoking products according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that at least part of the clamping elements (8f) of at least one inlay (8) has a curvature in the circumferential direction of the inlay (8).
